The History of Clamping

Who invented clamping, I know the first person that I know of that started using a cable clamp was redzula I in fact started using them after stillwantmore started his routine so I wanted to give credit to Red for being the first guy I know that was crazy or smart enough to find these little gems. Now clamping with out a cable clamp is nothing new guys have been doing it for years and years as far as I know Bib”bigger” was the first to make a device called the Uli thing which was back in 01 Bib’s Uli thing and the video for members Extreme Uli Video I would say as far as I know the guy that invented the idea for clamping would be Uli himself but I don’t remember if he ever created a device for doing it or only did it with his hands. It’s safe to say that Big G has been the driving clamping force here at thunders. If anybody can add to the history or correct me on any errors feel free.

I think the idea of doing PE while wearing a cock ring has been around for a very long time (Uli or before), I don’t know if that really counts as a “device”. And of course the manual “clamping” which was brought into the limelight by Uli.

Hey Chi I remember you your not ancient history, I’m glad to see you posting again. The reason I posted this thread was I read on another forum that supposedly thunders was taking credit for the whole clamping craze and I just wanted to give credit where it was do. As far as I know Bib was the first one to make a clamp like device but like Sizemeister said I’m sure a lot of guys were using cock rings to get the same effect. And I first heard of people using cable clamps from Red and Still. So that being said I invented the cable clamp and from now all clamping with my invention should be called Dino clamping”only kidding”

Bib was the first with his creation of the Uli thing and extreme Ulis. In place of a Uli thing some also used Bib hangers to do EU’s by toeing out.

New ULI device… some nice benefits… Safer! Cable clamps is the first post here about cable clamps.

Later, after cable clamps gained popularity from Cap’s Wench, more guys started using them for girth. Personally, I’ve never liked them for that.

Thanks hobs so the original cable clamp thread was started here over 2 years ago by NotEnough who’s been a member here since 01. I even posted on the thread but totally forgot about it and was in hanging mode so never even tried them.

"PE forums" was the first site I joined. I looked around other sites and then joined Thundersplace. For a time I posted on both, then I kinda stayed here. Now that I’m back on PE, I hang out mostly at MOS. But I recently started logging on here again because the amount of information here is above all others.
I remember reading all pages of Thunders Newbie and Main forums. Took me about a year. Now i wouldn’t even try, it’s just way too much. I can’t handle the amount of daily posts here either.

Anyway, back to topic, here is an old thread where I show my Uli thing and other stuff. And yes it was Bib who invented that, but Ulistretch invented the Uli #x exercises (x being 1,2,etc)

You can limit your viewing to particular forums. Usercp -> Settings & Options -> Edit Options. The forum filter is about halfway down.

Dino: Thanks for the info. I’m often credited for the clamp, although I know the concept was around long before I came along. I also believe in giving credit where credit is due so I’m glad you guys have brought us up to date. I always though Uli and Bib were the fathers of clamping, I had no Idea the CableClamp technique started at MOS. It is always a pleasure to hear about the pioneers who began some of these great concepts. I often think how pleased some of the old timers would be if they chimed in today and saw how far their original ideas have been taken, vets like Uli and Fow.

I don’t mean to sound ignorant,but what happened to them? Why don’t Uli or Bib or any of the “pioneers” ever post here anymore?

The first time I read about cableclamps was in the thread of NotEnough to which Hobby linked. I hadn’t seen any posts about cableclamps at MOS prior to that. The only proof of cableclamp usage for pe predating NotEnough’s thread is here in an old version of Tom Hubbard’s site, 2001 Site (look for the homemade bibhanger).

AFAIK the history of clamping with a cableclamp starts with NotEnough (unless anyone can post a link to another thread which predates NotEnough’s thread).

Personally I prefer using hoseclamps for clamping.

Uli “retired” over 5 years ago.

Mos was only started a month before that thread so actually notenough was the first guy that I heard talk about the cable clamp. I think Red might have talked about and it at his old penispride site but I don’t know for sure.
