Tunica growth held back by tight lig(s)?

I’ve been at this faithfully for just over seven months. I’ve gained nearly three quarters of an inch in erect length and a quarter of an inch in girth. I’ve noticed that my gains have slowed significantly despite a 2 week decon in January. I’m still satisfied as I’m still seeing progress and feel I have more to gain. I’d like to solidify an inch after about a year of this, and I believe I’m on my way.

I’ve come to the place that I’m curious about my personal anatomy and the structures that are in place that cause/hinder growth. I almost wish I hadn’t even read some of the threads from LOT, tunica vs ligs, measuring discrepancies, and the potential for “illusions” in gains based on stretch/measuring/jelq angles and techniques.

Now to my points and questions.

Since I’ve started I’ve noticed how “tight” the top ligament is. I’m referring to the lig that runs down the top center of the shaft from base to tip. This area, or lig, has always felt that it was so tight that the underside, or inner penis, was loose. I could always tell when I had the hardest of erections because I’d feel that fullness/stretch in the inner-shaft.

When stretching, I’ve always felt the stretch in this top lig. Whether up, down, straight out, or even to the sides. My LOT has always been around 8,9 o’clock, and that hasn’t changed during my PE efforts, and neither has my erection angle or insertion point. Also, I have noticed that this lig has not let up in how tight it feels. In fact, I feel just as much of a stretch on this lig when straight out or straight up than I do when straight down or between the cheeks.

I want “real” gains. I don’t want a penis that’s going to be lowered into my perineum from stretching and it appears as though my cock is right by my asshole or something by the time I reach my goals. Unfortunately for me though, I can’t even attempt to stretch the “tunica” or inner penis without affecting the “top lig” (sorry for my lack of anatomically correct terms).

My question is, while what I’m doing appears to be working as far as the ruler goes, am I supposed to continue stretching at all angles until the ligs are loose enough that I will actual feel the tunica being stretched? Remember, I can’t even seem to affect the tunica because of how tight this top lig feels. I’m attempting now at the beginning of my stretch sessions to do some lig stretches, and then end the session with a few minute static a-stretch over a bar that sits horizontally on my lap. Even then, I still feel the top lig being stretched, and not the inner penis, or tunica. Again, I don’t want to be misled in thinking that this tightness I feel means that I’m only ever going to affect the ligs for as long as I continue to stretch in whatever angle. Will my potential for tunica growth always feel as though it’s being held back by this tight lig?

Maybe I’m wrong altogether. Maybe this illusive “lig” is actually the tunica stretching that I’m feeling and all is well. Please, someone guide me or educate me a little here.

Routine:
15 minutes hot wrap
Set of 30 reps straight out JAI stretches
Straight down stretch of 30+ seconds
Seated V stretch for 60 sec
Sets of JAI’s to the sides
Seated A stretch with kegels for a few minutes

Re-heat

15-20 minutes jelq and occasional 440’s
Warm down, wash up

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe the ligaments go from the base to the tip. That is more than likely an artery, if my memory serves me right.

Also, a 2 week decon break is going to be relatively pointless. You should plan for 6 weeks next time, with as little use of the penis as possible. That includes sex, masturbation, and even erections if you can help it.

With stretching, I would stretch in all directions. I also wouldn’t re-heat, and I wouldn’t warm down.

I’m willing to accept that this tightness is not a lig at all. God, I just want to know what’s up with this. Just to restate for clarification, the tightness is along the top center of the shaft from base to about right behind the glans. If I get a good stretch I can touch this area with my fingers and feel some sort of tight lig type structure below the surface.

Sounds like your septum or dorsal thickening or maybe both. Either way the A-stretches should help with that. I have also found that JAI stretches helps also.

Ok, so back to my question then. At what point will I be able to actually stretch the tunica? I’m suprised that no one else has identified with this yet. Surely I’m not a stranger in this.

If I am understanding your question correctly, you are stretching your tunica. They are parts of the tunica and not the ligs.

Sounds like the dreaded dorsal thickening (some might say septum), which is a very tough and thick part of the tunica that runs along the top side of the penis. When stretching it can feel like a cord almost and seems impossible to budge. Many believe this is the main limiting factor for length and it seems more and more people come to this conclusion.

Yes, it feel like a cord. I’m going to have to take a look at some anatomical diagrams. I want to be sure that this is the case. I’ll revisit this post once I find out more about what exactly this may be.

In the meantime it would be great if more could shed light on this topic. What can be done? Are those who are at the end of their PE “rope” noticing this as well? Can this be overcome?

It’s either a nerve or a vein. Go get some golf weights. Put one on and stretch your johnson in every direction for a couple of minutes. Then put another one on and do it again. Then another, and another, until you run out of wang to hold on to. That "cord" thingy that you are talking about will stretch after a few weeks of doing this.

Do you had some improvement lately ?

Have you understand better / focused the problem?

I continue to have better measurements on BPEL, but the upward curve is more , more, more evident, day by day..

It proves that the unit is growing but the top of the unit stay at the same lenght. :(

What did this cord thing end up being? Many in other posts are saying “septum” or “dorsal nerve”. On mine it’s tough, close to the toughness of a tendon, everything around it is loose and will flex -but this cord that runs topside to the head.

Did you find a way to stretch it?

Is DMSO supposed to soften this up (whatever it is)?


If girth is king, why the hell does everyone keep talking about length?

I may very well have just severed my septum. I thought it was a dorsal nerve (INJURY! - Dorsal Nerve) but if that was the case I wouldn’t have feeling in my glans.

I have an ultrasound tomorrow, so I’ll let you know for sure after that.

I will say that if I have severed my septum…

*It wasn’t excruciating when it happened.
*I can see how I will be able to do some fairly decent length gaining now that the septum isn’t a limiter.
*My penis feels different. Like a noodle. The septum seems to add a dimension of support that I no longer have.

Perhaps my use of high heat during my exercises and a modified static-stretcher ADS caused the septum to finally just give out. We’ll see tomorrow.
