Why does the 'Side View' always suck?

Well I guess I should confess that side view is way better for me than Top View.

My girth is configured so that it appears thickest in profile. (I am wider top-to-bottom than I am side-to-side)

Additionally NBPEL side view measurement is greater than my BPEL.

So side view for me = longer and thicker.

This may prove some of your theories as obviously I am not 6+ inches in girth as apparently all of you are.

Im 6’2, have a big fat pad of about 1’5 inches, plus a turkey neck. So ya, all those things do ad up to make you appear smaller. My girlfriend was actually very suprised when we measured.

I think its sort of an optical illusion based on you maintaining the same ratio between length and width as the average person. You have an average ratio but an unaverage size. Do you understand.

I know because I experience the same thing.

I feel the same way about my unit - side view has a flared base which In my opinion makes it appear shorter.
