Why won't new members post?

I decided to pick “pay site owner” because the people that do that need to be represented.

I am sure that there are more then ten that do that, and I am just waiting for our information to end up on a PE site somewhere, including pics.

When I try to post a message, a window comes up and says that I do not have permission to post. I have a network router (with a firewall?) and I think that may be the problem. Any suggestions?

Hey Gomo,

New Members can only post new threads in the Newbie Forum. They can reply to any existing thread in any forum. After 14 days and 20 posts you can post new threads in any forum.

Well I guess this would be a good time to say hello to everyone. I thoroughly enjoy Thunder’s Place. I’m fairly new here and I read avidly, Every day in-fact. I just don’t want to ask questions like many do… when much of the time a simple “search” will produce answers. Many of you here inspire me, and make me laugh out loud at times as well. I hope to make celebrated gains, and still be here years to come. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for answering my post thunder, you also answered some other questions I had about posting.

Well, I for once rarely post for two reasons.

A) I don’t think my opinion and knowledge about PE is good enough to help other guys, or fetch in discussions.

B) In main member forum, I usually don’t have much opinion about most topic. Nor power to write down my full opinion on it keeping good English.

I guess I should read more of the guidelines. I didn’t do something at the outset, and now I am unable to post an original thread…am not that proficient on the computer, so don’t know how to rectify the situation. Could someone tell me how to get straightened out so I can post, without getting a message that I am not allowed?

You need 13 more posts, then you can start a thread in any forum.

A new member has to be a member for 14 days and make 20 posts before they become a regular member and get the “post a new thread in any forum” ability.

it donesnt let me make new posts, just reply to ones… :(
