Bib Hanger Feedback

bud_do and Nick7,

I really appreciate the responses. Let me know about your gains also.

bud_do, i am glad you got the hanger without too much delay. Sorry about my screw-up. What’s bad is I still don’t know how it happened.

Nick, I am glad you finally got into the forums.

question/survey

Before I post my answers to the survey I have one question. I am on my 4th day of hanging with the BIB (3 sets of 7 minutes at 5lbs). I noticed that if I stand up straight I feel more of a stretch on the external skin above the penis. However, if I go into a slight squat and rest my hands on my knees for support I feel it more in the ligament itself. I tried positioning the BIB closer to the head, but with the same feeling that I am only stretching the skin above the penis if I stand up straight. Any advice. Am I doing anything wrong? Anyway, on with the survey.

1. Never hung before. Seems comfortable enough so far.
2. -
3. 10 minutes
4. a few years
5. 5lbs for 3 sets of 7 minutes
6. I want to work toward 20 lbs for 3 sets of 20 minutes. I plan to get there in a few months.
7. -
8. Yes
9. 1
10. none yet
11. theraband
12. -
13. no
14. yes
15. yes
16. yes
17. yes
18. US

20. BP length 6.25”. Not sure about girth.

Thanks Bib. For the first time in my PE life, I DON’T feel like I got ripped off.

looker,

I appreciate the information. That last line is about the most fulfilling thing any guy has ever said about the hanger.

It's true

Bib,

No problem man. I have wasted well over $3000 over the past 7 years with absolutly no results. From the circle device to a Kaplan pump to a lost down payment on surgery that I decided against at the last minute. I really think your product will be the first to deliver the goods and I can’t express how much I appreciate that.

Also, In the first paragraph of my last post (at the top of this page) I had the following question:

I noticed that (while hanging) if I stand up straight I feel more of a stretch on the external skin above the penis. However, if I go into a slight squat and rest my hands on my knees for support I feel it more in the ligament itself. I tried positioning the BIB closer to the head, but with the same feeling that I am only stretching the skin above the penis if I stand up straight.

Any advice?

Thanks again,

Sorry I forgot about your question. I guess your complement got me off track.

Ok, this is fairly simple. When standing up, that is about a one-half BTC. When you squat, it is almost a straight out pull.

When you first begin to hang, the first limiting factor is the skin. Most guys have to stretch skin before the stress starts hitting the internal structures. Usually, it takes less than two weeks to get the skin stretched out. Then, as you grow, there will be other times when you will need to stretch skin again.

Now, the closer you come to the BTC angle, the more likely you will be only stretching skin in the beginning. Then, as the angle rises, the more likely you will be hitting the tunica, and if the angle is low enough (such as with the straight out angle), the ligs.

In the straight up (OTS angle), you will get little if any skin stretch, good tunica stretch, however almost no lig stretch. With OTS, the skin above the shaft base will not be affected, and the scrotum supply plenty of extra skin. Therefore, the skin is not a factor.

Sabe?

Ok, so the goal, for fastest gains, is to have the ligs take the stress in the BTC position. This means you have to have stretched the skin enough to allow for it. It is very hard to BTC soon after starting. It probably took me a couple of months of slowly sliding down in my chair before I was truly in the BTC position. Then, when I made it, I moved the hanger up the shaft some to stretch more skin. After that, I moved the hanger closer to the head, and the ligs were taking all the stress. This is when I really started gaining.

As I grew, I had to go through the above process over and over. Also of course, my max weight was going up throughout the process.

Note: When you are stretching the skin going for BTC, be sure to apply Vit E to the skin at the upper base. You will probably find many stretch marks and it can become tender. Other say cocoa butter is also good for this.

If totally confused, ask questions.

Bigger

I think I understand. I will stop the squatting position and get to work on stretching out the skin above the shaft base (by standing uo straight) and sooner or later begin working towards the BTC position. Thanks again.

My findings on the "Bib"

1) No discomfort its fine with 15lbs
2) Noose type
3) 10 min after reading the VERY helpful posts here
4) I expect 2 years (unless my golden retriver gets it)
5) I have done 15 at times but prefer 10 its easier
6) 15-20Lbs
7) 2 months about 1/4 inch (Oh yeah big man coming up)
8) Yes I am only using the bib for the past 2 months
9) 3 sets of 20+min 4 times a week
10) none so far
11) sweat shirt with thermaband
12) N/A
13) None what so ever
14) I have spent 350 + on a real good pump but the 120 I spent was worth double that easily!!!!
19) It is by far the most enjoyable and gives me the best feeling in my wallet and my brain that I did the right thing and am doing the right thing
20) I was 6.25 now I’m 6.50 (here comes the 7.0 mark)

Bib I cant thank you enough for your time and effort. It truly is a work of art. And my thanks to your wife and your son, her for putting up with all of it and him for helping out dear ol’ Dad in his vision.

If you ever stop making them again, contact me and maybe you might want to “franchise them” to the east coast.

Oh!! and I will be purchasing another for a spare just in case of a tragedy or my dog gets it!!!

I owe all of my gains to Bib, Thunder & DLD.

Thank you just dosent seem to cover it.

I'll be forever indebted to Them!!

Bib a quick question on BTC / OTS

When I hang I have been standing up which is fine I was sitting for awhile but it seems I cant get a chair/sofa that is high enough off the ground to get a full weight hang, even with pillows under my butt. (I’m 6ft tall) I have tighten the strap to the max and its fine.

I seem to have plenty of loose skin for growing I guess thats from standing and hanging right? Now I guess I should sit and hang to get the ligs stretched right? If I read your post right.

Am I correct in my thinking?

Thanks again

ctmwm,

I really appreciate the feedback. More than you could know. Thanks.

What kind of weights are you using? If they are weight plates, do you have them arranged so that they hang vertically or horizontally?

>I seem to have plenty of loose skin for growing I guess thats from standing and hanging right?<

Probably.

> Now I guess I should sit and hang to get the ligs stretched right? If I read your post right. Am I correct in my thinking? <

Yes, you can sit and hang straight out. Without skin interference, you will get a good amount of stress on the tunica. Then, as you slide down in your seat, the angle lowers and you will feel more stress in your ligs.

Bib Variations

I thought I’d add my name to the list of satisfied customers of the Hanger - we’re proud of ya, Bib :)

One query I have, for anyone who uses it, is whether it actually matters which way round it is. When using it the normal way (with the curved area near the glans), the whole penis is stretched downwards, which suffers from slippage and puts stress on the head. Using it the other way round emphasis the pull downwards, leaving the head free. Has anyone else seen this and is it safe to alternate?

Bucephallus,

I appreciate your kind words.

Interesting you should bring this up. I did some work with having the hanger reversed. Actually made a couple models with varying head wells on each end. But it detracted from overall performance.

First, the front thumbs of the hanger are designed to accept the area behind the head while still allowing for circulation. If there is too much slippage down on the head, then that is another problem. Reversing the hanger should have no effect, and should not be better, IF the hanger is adjusted properly in the normal position.

Second, the same effect as reversing the hanger can be realized by various angles of toe-out. You need to experiment with the placement of the internal hex nuts to get a more comfortable and better grasping setting for your penis.

Thanks,

Bib Hanger feedback

Hey Bigger -

I want to say that I love your product. I’ve been hanging for almost 2 years using my own technique which just wasn’t very good (lots of tape - yech! w/minimal results). After discovering Thundersplace and your product, I have to say that the BIB is a fabulous device. I’ll post answers to your questionnaire soon. Been using the BIB for 2 months now and am doing BTC (3X20) per day. Weight up to 20lbs for last session which is very comfortable. I do not yet have that apparently all-important fatigued feeling in the ligaments yet but hope to as I continue.
I just wanted to tell you that buying the BIB is definitely the best investment I’ve made for PE!! Also all the extensive info you’ve posted is very informative. Thanks for an incredible invention!
Looking forward to gains -

9soon,

I am glad you like it.

>Weight up to 20lbs for last session which is very comfortable. I do not yet have that apparently all-important fatigued feeling in the ligaments yet but hope to as I continue.<

Are you raising the weight for each set? Usually if you can, it is best to start at your max, and then lower the weight when you need to (fatigue). This may help to become fatigued faster. Also, if you are not using heat for the first half of each set, that may help.

Progressing from heavier to lighter weights in hang session

Hey Bigger -

Thanks for the fast response! I will try your recommendation re weights, for my session tonite. (starting out with heavier weights , then progressing to lighter weights as fatique sets in.)

Again, thanks 4 the support.

Bib Hanger defect

Bib,

I have been using the Bib starter for a month and a half with amazing gains and I am very happy. However, tonight it kind of fell apart. I was in the 9th minute of my second set and the gel on the interior just separated from the body and it slid off. I can’t fix it. I have no problem purchasing another, but I wanted to let you know what happened. I have followed all of the instructions properly and I have started slow as well (5 lbs first month, 7.5 lbs second month). Let me know what you think. Thanks.
