Bib Hanger Feedback

Questions:

1) If you have hung in the past, is the comfort level substantially greater than what you have experienced before? If you have not hung before, what is your opinion of the comfort level?

The bib hanger is very comfortable, once your figure out how to use it properly, to wrap properly, and position the hanger properly. It took me about 6 weeks of experimentation to figure out how to properly attach the hanger.

2) If you have hung before, what type of hanger did you use? NA

3) How long did it take you to learn to use the BibHanger?

About 6 weeks.

4) What is your estimate of the useful life of the hanger? Durability.

The plastic shell seem quite durable. I’m a little concerned about the anchor points of the top bolt, but so far so good.

5) How many pounds (max), and for what amount of time are you hanging?

I’ve only been doing this for about 6 weeks. For the time being I have the time to hang for 7 to 9 twenty minute sessions. I try to do some sessions in the morning and some in the evening. I have been up to about 15 lbs., after having been at 12 lbs. for some time. Recently I have had to back down to 7 lbs., and today could handle 10lbs.

Some forum members have expressed doubt that a newbie could hand something like 15lbs. so early. My experience is that it is possible, and that some individuals may be having pain and problems because of improper wrapping, or positioning of the hanger. You have to take the time to try different positions. I’ve found that for me, the best place to start the wrap (and hanger) is just above the circ scar. In my experimenting there were times that the hanger was extremely painful. In those cases pain resulted from all the weight being put on the surface skin, and none of the internal tissue. Rewrapping and reattaching the hanger a minute latter would solve the problem.

6) Estimate the maximum you think you could hang if you were properly conditioned.

I can now securely attach the hanger comfortably. 20 lbs. is not that far from my max, so I would say 30 lbs.

7) What gains have you had so far, and in what amount of time?

I have not had any real erect gains so far, but flaccid gains have been great, at least 3 inches. It variable though. Like Bib, my flaccid was nearly nonexistent. Thanks Bib!

8) Do you think you will be able to reach your goals using the hanger?

If I put the time and effort into it, Yes!

9) About how many hours have you logged using it so far?

For the past three weeks, about 8 twenty minutes sessions per day. I have been trying to hang 7 days a week, but sometimes have rest day of half day (4 sessions).

10) Describe any problems encountered.

Learning the properly wrap and attach the hanger. It just takes time to learn how.

11) What type of wrap have you found most comfortable?

For cloth I cut up some old tiddy whitties into strips. On top of the cloth I use the theraband Bib included.

12) Would the inclusion of wrap with the hanger make a substantial difference in value, ease of use, etc.?

It was nice having the theraband wrap included. It was greatly appreciated.

13) Does the product guide on the website and not in the box with the hanger make any difference to you?

I’d say the best information I found was in this forum and the old PE forum.

You may want to include this website address with orders. One time I did run across a website (or chatroom) were someone had bought a hanger, and was lifting weights (doing sets and reps) with the hanger, and not hanging.

14) Do you feel the hanger is worth the $65 (or $120) plus shipping paid for it? Yes.

15) Would you have bought the hanger for $100 before actually seeing it? Yes How about after using it? Yes

16) Would you have bought the hanger for $125 before actually seeing it? Maybe. How about after using it? Yes.

17) Would you have bought the hanger for $150 before actually seeing it? Probably not. How about after using it? Yes.

18) Was the hanger shipped internationally or within the US? US.

19) Any additional comments not covered above?

Could something be added to the shell (say a flat base to the bottom rail) to prevent twisting. (I’ve gotten better at controlling it.)

20) Would you please give your current bone pressed length and girth measurements.

8X6 EBP.

Thanks Bib, you make a great PE tool. To those who are having difficulties with the hanger, focus on wrapping and attaching the hanger properly. If something isn’t working try something else ( more wrap/less wrap, attaching the hanger further up or further down). It took me about 6 weeks to learn how to attach the hanger comfortably, and securely. Now there are times when I feel like I could leave the hanger on for hours. Once you get it working its great. Hanging is a learning process.

I can feel and see my dick changing. It seems as though there is more solid material (when flaccid), which makes attachment of the hanger easier. The portions that are stressed and strained by hanging are changing over time. Initially I stretched a lot of skin. Learning to better attach the hanger, and increasing the weight, the strain was placed in the ligaments starting at the base of my dick and running up into my abs/belly. After a while it seemed some of the ligaments attached to the pubic bone, and internal structures were being stretched. Sometimes the right side is strained, sometimes the left. Today the strain was back in the abs. So far so good. I’m giving it time, and look forward to July 4th measurements. As Bib expressed in a posting, hanging is more like a marathon than a 100 meter dash.

Bib I have a question. So far I have been hanging BTC only. In the future, should I try hanging at different angles in the SAME DAY (BTC, straight out, OTS, left/right). In your postings you have mentioned that you switch when you hit a plateau after about 2 months, but would your recommend going through the different angles in the same day?

Thanks again Bib

TRICKY DICKY

TD,

I really appreciate the feedback. It has been a long time since I had one of these filled out. Thank you for taking the time. I hope you get everything you wish for.

>You may want to include this website address with orders. One time I did run across a website (or chatroom) were someone had bought a hanger, and was lifting weights (doing sets and reps) with the hanger, and not hanging. <

????? How is this? What was he doing with it?

>Could something be added to the shell (say a flat base to the bottom rail) to prevent twisting. (I’ve gotten better at controlling it.)<

Could you explain this a little more in depth?

No, I always liked to stress completely the tissues affected by a certain angle. IOW, if I became fatigued at one angle, I continued to hang at that angle, even at lower weights, to work on the tissues in a weakened condition. When totally fatigued, I would switch to another angle. This takes some experience to learn what you are feeling and how to react.

Bib- Thanks for the answers.

Sorry for the confusion.

One time I did run across a website (or chatroom) where someone had bought a hanger, and was lifting weights (doing sets and reps) with the hanger, and not hanging. <

????? How is this? What was he doing with it?
He was doing squats with the hanger and weights attached, having the weights touch the ground and then stand back up. He was trying to work his dick like a bicep. Some people do not take the time to read your website.

>Could something be added to the shell (say a flat base to the bottom rail) to prevent twisting. (I’ve gotten better at controlling it.)<

Could you explain this a little more in depth?

I wonder if twisting could be minimized by adding a flat slab to each half of the hinged base. Looking through the hanger it would have an outline like the greek letter omega.
The flat surface could keep the hanger from turning, as it rests on your cheeks. It occurred to me latter that this would best for BTC, and not necessarily help at other angles. Its just a thought.

Tricky Dicky

Took me a while, but....

G’day

1) If you have not hung before, what is your opinion of the comfort level?
Considering I’ve got 18 pounds hanging off my willy, amazingly good, really. Mild discomfort, any more and I know something with my wrap or hanger placement is wrong.

2) If you have hung before, what type of hanger did you use?
Only did a little with the swim cap method and was never successful so not really applic.

3) How long did it take you to learn to use the BibHanger?
I’d say its a learning process. 1 hour to 2 days, some competency. 4 weeks, good competency. 5 months use (spread over over > a year), still learning a thing or two there but basically now fully down pat. Learning to wrap well consistently was surprisingly quite a process.

4) What is your estimate of the useful life of the hanger? Durability.
I don’t think I could break it from the main function, so 5 years. The white beads do get lost eventually though, but they ain’t important to the function, of course. The gel is not perfect where the clamps close, but not far from, and is not at all an issue, and doesn’t seem to be wearing.

5) How many pounds (max), and for what amount of time are you hanging?
Just moved up to 18.7 pounds (8.5 kilos). I think I’ll stay there for a good LONG time now, seems a good level for me, heaps of pull.
I do 30 to 60 mins a day early morning 5 days a week, 2 to 3 sets, one set of 50 DLDs included while hanging. I’d do more but privacy is a problem. I stretch at night using the a-stretch (or a very similar method of) for about 30 mins to make up for that, 5 times a week as well, not always on the same day as hanging. Also get in a rare session of 1 1/2 hours on the weekend when privacy permits.

6) Estimate the maximum you think you could hang if you were properly conditioned.
Probably up to 25. No interest in going much past 20-22 though.

7) What gains have you had so far, and in what amount of time?
1.4 cm or a little over half an inch. About 5 months use. Started use Feb 2002. Stopped late Apr. Started Oct. Stopped Dec. Started Feb 2003. I have a LOT more dedication now, and have found my stride, I don’t see myself stopping again except for school holidays (which are mainly over Jan here), when the wife doesn’t leave the house early.

8) Do you think you will be able to reach your goals using the hanger?
Maybe, the ultimate goal is probably set too high, but I’ve already met some and have lots more I think I will. But regardless, I’m happy with every millimeter I get :D

9) About how many hours have you logged using it so far?
I’d say 100-120 hours.

10) Describe any problems encountered.
Really just been a learning process about whats right for ME. Pressure falling onto the head has been the main one, but I’ve learn’t to adjust and manage that, though every now and then I fall back into it again.

11) What type of wrap have you found most comfortable?
Just the theraband (spelling?) I bought with the hanger and am quite happy with it.

12) Would the inclusion of wrap with the hanger make a substantial difference in value, ease of use, etc.?
It did for me, theraband isn’t available here. I’m yet to look for alternatives.

13) Does the product guide on the website and not in the box with the hanger make any difference to you?
Nope. Website prefered. Can be updated, after all.

14) Do you feel the hanger is worth the $65 (or $120) plus shipping paid for it?
Yes. Not much more, a lot of hard work and dedication is required by the user, but for parts, labour and design, certainly. Not to mention all the support I’ve seen you give, which is awesome.

15) Would you have bought the hanger for $100 before actually seeing it? How about after using it?
I paid the $120 or so …

16) Would you have bought the hanger for $125 before actually seeing it? How about after using it?
I paid the $120 or so answered there…

17) Would you have bought the hanger for $150 before actually seeing it? How about after using it?
$150 would have deterred me at the time. The New Zealand dollar was lower, would have been $400 NZD here but now, $280 NZD, fine :D

18) Was the hanger shipped internationally or within the US?
Internationally.

19) Any additional comments not covered above?
Thanks for the great product Bib. I’ve been an avid reader of the forums, but not really a participator as all the answers are out there now really, but I’m hoping to change with more expirience. Don’t want to give dumbass advice.
Your idea has helped/is helping my dreams come true in that ‘department’, with time and dedication! I could never make such a device though hanging has been on my mind from 15 or so, being the hardware numbnut I am!
One thing I didn’t see in the doco. I only, after 5 months, noticed if you don’t pull the right side of the hanger back when closing the bottom adjustments, the hanger does not come right together at the top, which was causing me a problem on head pressure, seeming it wasn’t coming completely together. maybe specific to my hanger, or possible I missed it. Still learning!!
Thanks again Bib

20) Would you please give your current bone pressed length and girth measurements.
18.9 cm length
14 cm girth at midshaft
15 cm girth at base.

Daskip

now that I have used the BIB for a while...

1) If you have not hung before, what is your opinion of the comfort level?
Some discomfort from the stretching, I think that I have finally learned how to wrap, combined with conditioning from hanging 2 months, I can now hang 7.5 lbs for 20 min no problem.

2) If you have hung before, what type of hanger did you use?
I had a DIY Wooden hanger which I used for a month or so.

3) How long did it take you to learn to use the BibHanger?
I think that after 2 months I have learned the basics.

4) What is your estimate of the useful life of the hanger? Durability.
I have replaced the white beads with stainless steel cap screws. The gel has a small hole in it. It is showing a little wear but I expect it will last for a couple of years before it needs some work.

5) How many pounds (max), and for what amount of time are you hanging?
I am now hanging 7.5 lbs (max) and I hang 4 15 min sets a day.

6) Estimate the maximum you think you could hang if you were properly conditioned.
I guess I could get to 10 lbs but 7.5 seems a lot right now.

7) What gains have you had so far, and in what amount of time?
I have not really had any gains since starting hanging in January. Ok maybe a mm.

8) Do you think you will be able to reach your goals using the hanger?
I hope so. I have made all my previous gains jelqing and manually stretching but when the gains stopped I did not want to increase the intensity above what I was doing. I was afraid of injury.
I think that with hanging the stress can be controled and applied over a longer time.

9) About how many hours have you logged using it so far?
I am keeping a record of time and weight. 25.5 hours so far.

10) Describe any problems encountered.
Learning to wrap to prevent skin swelling in the head area.

11) What type of wrap have you found most comfortable?
Theraband and vicose nylon camp towel materal.

12) Would the inclusion of wrap with the hanger make a substantial difference in value, ease of use, etc.?
You can buy theraband and like materal here but it was nice to get it with the hanger.

13) Does the product guide on the website and not in the box with the hanger make any difference to you?
Nope. Website prefered.

14) Do you feel the hanger is worth the $65 (or $120) plus shipping paid for it?
Yes.

15) Would you have bought the hanger for $100 before actually seeing it? How about after using it?
Yes.

16) Would you have bought the hanger for $125 before actually seeing it? How about after using it?
Yes

17) Would you have bought the hanger for $150 before actually seeing it? How about after using it?
Yes.

18) Was the hanger shipped internationally or within the US?
US.

19) Any additional comments not covered above?
The hanger is much better that one I could have constructed for twice the cost. Thanks Bib.

20) Would you please give your current bone pressed length and girth measurements.
19.4 cm length
12.6 cm girth at midshaft

daskip & interesting2001,

You have no idea how much I appreciate your answering this and the kind words. It gets a little tough to keep going with the hanger thing, but just getting some positive feedback makes it worthwhile. Now, I want to hear about some really good gains.

I might not understand exactly what you mean by this. But if you mean the two halves do not meet exactly, then that is really simple. First, you get the inner hex nuts where you want them for your situation. Then, with the two bottom wing nuts loose, ‘mate’ the two halves when you close the hinge. Then, tighten down the two bottom wing nuts.

If that is not what you meant, let me know.

Doh!

So simple when you put it that way, exactly what I meant. Ta!
And now you can see what I mant by being a hardware numbnut. :D I remember hanging (or attempting to) with masking tape, a shoelace and a gemstone ball bout the size of my hand when I was 15-16. How things have improved….
So seriously, your hard work is hugely appreciated by me.. I mean HUGELY! Planning on getthing those good gains (though am happy with progress already), and will let yah know… don’t worry bout that. Its a really good thing to see that you enjoy the act of making people happy.
Cheers Bib

Weights are very dangerious and can cause permanent injury and errectile Dysfuntion.

Weight Hanging: Painful and Worthless

This method involves hanging actual weights from your penis, every day for 20 - 30 minutes. The weights can exercise the penis, but offers some serious disadvantages, These include: serious pain, bruises, gangrene and dislocating of tendons found in the pubic area. Even worse, these weights cut off the circulation to the penis which can result in infection and amputation. This method is very risky, but what can you expect from hanging actual weights off your penis.

Are you speaking from first hand knowledge or just blowing wind out the old poop shoot. Please just don’t post a statement like that without some backup and facts. A good amount of members hang on this board without problems so what are you basing your knowledge on.

Clk is my name,

Well, you are simply very ill informed. In over five years, and with thousands of guys hanging and reporting on these forums, not one report has been made of anything close to what you describe above. In fact, the true experiences of hangers make your words into what can only be described as lies. You are welcome to post any actual experiences you have had, but not try to scare other members with so much drivel. Hanging has been proven as safe or more so than any other PE activity.

Hi.Does any one know if theraband is available in U.K.

R.Rush

If it’s available in Spain, it’s available anywhere. I found it here doing a search on Internet.

Bib Hanger Question time

1. Yes I have hung before. The last two weeks have been my most comfortable to date. I believe that I can get it better with more expereince.

2. I first used a PenisGro from Racca and then moved on the Vacugrip from grip systems.

3. I am still learning but much more ahead of where I was 1.5 months ago. The learning curve for me was really 4 weeks and now I’m trying to fine tune it to suit my particular situations.

4. I believe that I may get years out of it but I have already had some wear. The back teeth gel has alreadly spit slightly from trying to have the teeth messing completely but it is not an issue yet. The blue chord has a tiny bit of wear in the half way point for SD hanging while standing.

5. I have hang 6pds (3kg) max. Throught I was hanging more but mistakenly judged a 1.5kg plate for a 2.5kg plate. (Dickhead).
My sessions are progressively getter longer. Most hang time is about 3 hours in one hit of 15min sets and 5 - 10 minute breaks.

6. I need more hang time and experience to answer fully. I also can’t quantify yet because maybe I will get effect from varing angles. Sorry I’ll get back to you dudes and dudesses on this one.

7. When started with Bib was 185mm FSLBP (April). Yesterday measured at 195mm FSLBP. I am however off the belief that my measuring method was not the same. So I am still undecided on this. I now have a standard way to measure so will reedit in a couple of days. I also measured directly after hanging so maybe thats why there is a 10mm difference. Sorry I need more time for this one as well.

8. I think that have the best chance ever to get to my lenght goals. But unfortunately I’m realising more and more that they are so far aware. I have almost achieve my first goal with the Bib and that was to get comfortable with it and my wrapping.
I don’t know about girth thought. Hell I not interested in girth at the moment. I desire lenght. Girth can wait to after. Thats my opinon this morning anyway.

9. I would say I’m at 40 hours total but only about 10 hours of what I call good hanging but I am still to get to levels of fatigue.

10. My wrapping was crap. My impatience and frequent levels of masturbation have been issues. My skin was intially sore. I also have had a learning expereince of trying to convert vacugrip wieght to Bib hanger weight. There has been a big difference to me. Because the two methods of grip and application are different I was caught up thinking that my Bib application weight should of matched my grip.

11. I have found a single bandage of 1005mm to be most effective. I did not give theraband a fair trail though but todate I like my bandage. It notta soft bandage, more a supportive sports bandage, one you can really put some grunt behind.

12. Yeah. I think the theraband is important. It gave a base of reference to move away from and expereiment. If Mr Bib was successful with theraband than I wanted some. He was a pioneer of his hanger design and as I understand what I have read about his efforts theraband worked for him. It didn’t work for me but atleast I know what theraband is and have the capcaity to go back to it if required further down the journey.

13. Yes. Initially I thought the information presentation sucked. I was conditioned to reading books and watching videos. The grip system came with a written instruction booklet and video.
However I now realize that a vidoe presentation of the Bib hanger while being alittle helpful would not teach me what I have learnt now by reading, asking and have a great mentor.
I Believe now the info is presented correctly. With reading and studing this forum I have been able to do homework and learn more about Bib hanger application.
Yes it is easier to ask questions first and not make as many mistakes but nothing can beat my self placed learning and practical expereince with the Bib Hanger. I think you have it spot on Mr Bib.

14. Yes. My Penis Gro cost me about $300 USD and the grip I think about $200 USD. Plus the Aussie dollar was stuffed then. I’m happy to pay what I did for it. After all if someone is learning then someone is paying

15. I would have not brought it for any piece first without first eyeballing it.
I would have brought it after using it though.

16. Some as above.

17. Some as above.

18. Internationally and pretty quick too.

19. I think that may be a picture of someone hanging like those of Guiri with 1 - 4 plates would of made someone like myself who was looking for a alternative to the Penis Gro and Vacugrip sprint to the Postoffice straight away regardless of what time of the day it was.
.
However I also think that people just browsing the site might get scared off by these photos. Some men it seems to me just don’t understand what gravity and weights can do for ya. Anyway I like the Bib and I’m getting better hang by hang. I’m just pissed off that someone like myself who is handy with the my hands didn’t do something like this years ago when I started pumping.

20. I have to say between 185 - 195mm. I’ll get back to you with that one.
GMJ

Bib,

1) If you have hung in the past, is the comfort level substantially greater than what you have experienced before? If you have not hung before, what is your opinion of the comfort level?

3) How long did it take you to learn to use the BibHanger?
I originally hung for about a month (@#$@#@) with starter horizontal on my penis before seeing Giuri’s photo’s and relaised that it should have been hanging vertically.

4) What is your estimate of the useful life of the hanger? Durability.
many years

5) How many pounds (max), and for what amount of time are you hanging?
max is 13 pounds, I comfortably hang 12 pounds and roughly between 45 & 60 mins five to six times per week.

I am skeptical, it has been 4 months with no gains, but I hope I see some soon.

9) About how many hours have you logged using it so far?

100 hours

10) Describe any problems encountered.
I find it very difficult and impossible to hang SO or OTS

I use theraband.

12) Would the inclusion of wrap with the hanger make a substantial difference in value, ease of use, etc.?

Possibly, that could be interesting

13) Does the product guide on the website and not in the box with the hanger make any difference to you?

No

14) Do you feel the hanger is worth the $65 (or $120) plus shipping paid for it?

Well until I see gains, I would have to say no it does not.

15) Would you have bought the hanger for $100 before actually seeing it? How about after using it?

I guess I would have bought It anyway.

16) Would you have bought the hanger for $125 before actually seeing it? How about after using it?

Same as 15

17) Would you have bought the hanger for $150 before actually seeing it?
How about after using it?

Same as 17

18) Was the hanger shipped internationally or within the US?
Australia

19) Any additional comments not covered above?

20) Would you please give your current bone pressed length and girth measurements.

Just under 5 inches in length and probably around 4.5 to 4.75 in girth.
