I started hanging just now, im uncircumcised. The problem I have is that my glans becomes purple/black after about only 5 minutes! How should I be able to get the weight stay on and not slide down and at the same time not have so mutch pressure that I get a dead head? Im only using about 3 pounds.

was to NOT pull the foreskin back. Well, not pull it ALL back anyway. I pull maybe half the foreskin back, then apply the Theraband about 0.5-1” behind the head, making the first “wrap” of Therband quite tight, then wrap the rest snuggly. Then, using the Hard ends of the RS, attach and I’m done.

Jaaag just received the Redi-Stretcher and is working out the best way for him as an uncircumsized user to use it. It will take practice and experimenting with skin and shaft placement (like Slack did in the thread I linked) to find the best way and get a comfort level while using it, just like every device of this nature.

Jaaag, that is really the best advice I can give is to read other people with similar (uncircumsized in this case) experiences such as Slack and to do what they did and experiment. One thing most uncut users prefer is the harder sides so you may want to try those as well as the different skin/shaft placements and different wrapping techniques. The Theraband, even with the soft sides, can really help head comfort. If you didn’t order the harder sides, I’ll be happy to change those out for you at no cost. But first I’d work with what you have and experiment, experiment, experiment.

Have you been PE’ing regularly where your penis is conditioned some and ready for hanging?

Are the sides adjusted so that when clamped tight they close evenly on your shaft or does the part nearest your body start squeezing first? Or is it the part nearest the glans tightening first? Everybody should have to make that adjustment as it depends on each person’s flaccid girth measurement. I prefer to have the clamp start to grab the part nearest the body first but just a bit. This would be considered “toe-out”. Not much, just a little.

Color change is tough to comment on without seeing it first hand. The glans will always change color to some degree as the circulation is reduced. It should return to normal in under a minute after removing the hanger and doing some light stimulation. For glans temperature, cool is normal, cold is bad but the temperature in the room can affect what that feels like to the touch. If in doubt, remove the hanger and see if everything returns to normal in that under a minute time-frame. If you are having reduced feeling in the glans, the hanger is too close and should be moved further up the shaft towards the body.

I may be all alone on this one but I actually prefer to push my skin forward while I wrap.Not a lot,just enough to create a little ball of skin behind the glans.I then start my wrap back behind this little rim and wrap all the way to the base.Once I’m wrapped I push forward a little more and attach my hanger,a wench in this case,as far back toward my base as I can.The only time I experience discomfort is if I get too careless and wrap too loose or too tight.I also get some discomfort when I first try a new angle out.The wrap is the key in my opinion.It takes some experimenting,but once it’s right you can tell.It becomes like clockwork after a while and you can wrap perfectly time and time again.

I have been PEing for about 6-7 months.

I have both the soft and hard sides, but I didn’t try out the soft very much before I changed to the hard sides.

How do I adjust the sides so the clamp evenly? I have to check out how the are squeezing on me.

The thing that makes me confused is that what I can think you have to have maximum pressure on the hanger to make the weights stay on, and not slide down. And with max pressure the blood most stop flowing into the head? Another thing is that it feels like all the blood is pressed on into the glans, so the glans gets very hard. Its hard to describe the color.. its not red like it is when my dick is normal, its very pale or something.

The adjustment for the sides clamping evenly is the larger of the two screws. As you put on the stretcher, check to see how it is clamping and decide which way the sides could pivot so that as they close they come in contact with the penis shaft at the same time. Then remove the stretcher, loosen the larger screws and pivot the heads in that direction and re-tighten the screws very tight. Re-test and move again if necessary.

Increased glans pressure is one thing that your 6-7 months of normal PEing really won’t prepare you for. It takes a little bit of time to get used to having increased pressure there for longer periods of time. Squeezing the glans to push blood out while tightening the hanger will help keep the pressure down. If you have a lot of blood in there to begin with and then add weight, the pressure is worse.

I can imagine how it’s hard to describe the color. It’s gone from black to very pale within a few posts. Your dick will not appear normal when having a hanger applied to it. Circulation has been changed meaning the color must as well. Pale is normal as circulation has been reduced. Wrapping plays a big part here and it sounds as if yours might be too tight. The hanger must be tight to keep the weights on, but the wrap shouldn’t have to be too tight. One way to describe wrap tightness would be so that you could still urinate through it while wearing the wrap.

35” Theraband shouldn’t be necessary. If you’ll notice in that other thread you asked about it, the suggestion was that half that is needed, which you already have. If after continued attempts you feel like 35” is needed, I’ll send it to you. Again, that’s way too much wrap, but if you feel it will help in your situation, I’ll send it.

If your hanger slides down and/or is resting on your glans the pressure inside your glans will rise which will make your glans hard and turn purple/black in a matter of minutes. To prevent this from happening you need to find a way to stop your hanger from sliding down and resting on your glans.

With most hangers this can be accomplished by making sure you start completely flaccid, attach the hanger 1-2cm below the glans. Tighten the hanger stepwise, stretch a couple times to loosen your tissues and tighten a bit more. As soon as the weight is applied tighten it some more. If your glans gets hard again, start over and tighten it more this time.

I tried again last night, and I think I managed to get it a little better this time. The change I made was as you said to not wrap so tight. I also put a bit of cloth underneath the Theraband.

I only tried for about 5 mins, the glans changed color a little bit, but not as badly as before. I notice if I squeeze the glans a little when Im hanging it seems the circulation returns for a few seconds.. is this something to be recommended doing?

I will have a couple of rest days now, but then I will try to adjust the sides to. I don’t think I can use the 35” Theraband anyway because its hard to get the sides over the wrap as it is now without messing up the wrap.. :)
One thing I notice is its very hard to wrap, and at the same time squeezing and pulling the dick out, but I guess I need a little more practice! or tips? :)

The Redi-stretcher is the first hanger I have seen that I think works well with uncircumcised like me but this is the very first days of hanging for me ever, so I guess I need to experiment a little more.

I tried to adjust the sides the other day, but I could only move them up or down, is there anyway to move them forward and backwards also? I did not pull out the screws entirely.

I start hanging again next week with your hanger. I need to follow your instructions better because that was one of my reasons for quitting hanging last time was the comfort. (is that one of Rita’s toys?)

Okey thank you! I have not much problem now with the glans changing color, but I have a hard time making the hanger stay in place. After 5 mins or so it starts to slide down and ends up pushing on the glans and it hurts a bit. I have tried to place the hanger higher up, it works sometimes but I have heard it stretches more skin? I am uncircumcised so I dont want to stretch to much skin..

I would gladly like to test with some longer Theraband instead of using cloth underneath the Thera I have now. It feels a bit wrong to take stuff from you for free so let me pay for the shipping at least?

Where do you get theraband? Do you have to order it or can you get it in a store.also you didnt mention if you had alot of foreskin or normal.I have quite a bit and when I try to wrap properly it slips down, I’ve tried the way you say and it doesnt stay on for a second, perhaps if I used theraband it would work
