Hang Without Wrap?

I use a piece of t shirt then put the Theraband over that. I find that the most comfortable. I get slight skin stretch, but I’m used to it. I also use the hardcore, not the padded. I almost wish I did have a padded so I could see the difference.

Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

Was asked a couple of questions re: lining my BIB with pilates stretch band material…answers after each question:

What thickness did you use? I don’t know, it’s the standard pilates stretch band material, probably about 0.5mm? Used it for it’s “tackiness”, it grips very well.

Did you overlap it several times? No, just one layer.

How is pilates stretch band different from theraband? I don’t know, I’ve never used theraband.

Any chance you could include a picture of your hanger with the modifications? Yes, see below.

Hope that this helps; please don’t hesitate to seek further information if you think it would be useful to you.

Cheers,

That’s pretty cool, Xeno. I would think that latex pulling on the skin would be torture.

When the BIB is sufficiently tightened, there is no pulling on the skin; the pulling force is delivered to internal tissues.

I meditate and occasionally nap while hanging…quite the opposite of torture :) .

As always though, YMMV.

I try to read and stay busy. I like your concept with the hanger. I presume your bottom hex nuts are pretty close together? Did you glue the Pilates strips to the plastic part?

What is YMMV?

No, they’re super far apart…see photo. See the front bolt? It’s got a stop-nut interior to the BIB to keep the front portion of the BIB from closing when I torque down the top wingnut (and I torque it down HARD)…it keeps the front of the BIB open and blood flowing well through the CS…that’s how the meditation and napping can happen. Rear bolt is gone, I just use a zip-tie and let the rear compression do whatever it wants to in response to tightening of the top wingnut. The ONLY point of compression is at the top wingnut bolt of the BIB, although there is some distributed compression that falls off in magnitude away from that point.

Your mileage may vary.

BTW (By the way :) ), you may note that I’ve fairly significantly trimmed both top and bottom teeth to accommodate the “non-OEM” closure geometry that I’ve herewith described.

Happy to help further if I can.

I hate to say it, but I may need more pics. Reading this made a little sense, but hard for me to fully grasp. I would have thought with no WFG that you would need the hanger as narrow as possible. I’ll chat more when I’m ready to modify my hanger. Right now I like it as is and don’t mind wrapping.

WFG = ?

Happy to post more pics, just tell me what you want.

If you’re happy with your setup, suggest you stick with it.

WFG - Wrapped Flaccid Girth.

As for pics - the removal of the back bolt and maybe pics of the bottom, with the top closed so I can see the gap.

Black bolt? As I mentioned, I use a (black) zip-tie at the lower rear bolt position…pretty sure that’s what you’re referring to. Yes, I’ll post that photo as soon as I can.

Not bragging, just stating a fact; Tiger’s FG (= UWFG?) is 6”, so there’s gotta be some room made; thus the wide positioning of the bottom of the BIB.

Yeah, check again bro - it says “back” bolt. You removed the back bolt and replaced it with a zip tie? That loses me. I presume that is to help keep it together? I don’t understand how it’s able to fully grip like that.

6 inches flaccid girth is very impressive. Did you do dedicated girth work to arrive at that point? How were all of your gains made?

Whoops, indeed so; thanks for the correction.

Yes, that’s exactly what I did; frankly, I could almost do without any connection at the rear position at all…almost. The purpose of the zip-tie connection at the rear position is to provide a minimum of compression at that position so as to allow for maximum blood flow through the CC and the lower portions of the CSs. So, you’re right, it’s not able to fully grip…that’s the intent! Virtually ALL of the gripping takes place at the top bolt; it’s important that it’s understood that I’ve hung with over 100 lbs many times with this exact hanger configured exactly as shown in the photos below…hopefully they help. Point is, that top connection alone is perfectly capable of providing adequate closure of the BIB and a firm attachment to the penis; thereby freeing up the lower portion of the BIB to only loosely grip the penis, thus allowing for excellent blood flow in all three blood borne oxygen dependent chambers and therefore comfortable, long hanging sessions.

There’s a long answer to that question…probably best addressed in my Progress Report thread, where I’d be happy to provide it; but the short answer is yes, I’ve done dedicated girth work to achieve EG gains. After several years of satisfactory length only work, I’ve now been employing girth only tactics for the last couple of years; here’s the progression of methods: clamping + Ulis —> Nice Vice —> Tiger Trap.

Holy crap bro - 100 pounds?!?!?! How was that accomplished - sitting or standing? BTC, SD, etc.?

With this setup, where do you feel the pressure - top, sides? Do you get blood buildup in your glans? It also sounds as if you hung/hang more than the standard 20 minutes per set.

I would like to know this too, The downer of clamp based hangers is the 20 min sets. When I hung with a Bib, 3x20 min sets took about 2 hours sometimes with re-wrapping and jelqing blood back. I also believe in longer sets/ lower weight but sometimes lower weight needs to be 10lbs upwards.
