had a few quick hanging question:

when hanging now (1 month, no gains :( )I started to wrap close to the base of my penis as oppose to closer to my head, which helped me hang more comfortable hanging at lower time and higer wieghts. but now i get a sharp pulling sensation at the base and around my pubic area. I try to see if its my skin scretching or my ligs and think its a little bit of both, now I also noticed that there sometimes is a sensation like somethinhg is about to snap, more so inside than outside. My question is is this a lig that is about to break? It’s ususally more towards a particular side and focused at 1 spot than all around. Is this normal? Or am I going to break something :( . I gotten to this stage after fatiguing for few days all hanging down SD, so I’m confused as to what is going on, and wondered if hanging is suppose to jsut scretch ligs or actually break them and rebuild them.

Any info will help, as I’m new so please be nice :)

also does anyone use their BIB hanger sideways? i find alot more comfortable than up/down

Also do you guys think I might be just scretching the skin and maybe about to rip it? Since when i hang closer to the head i dont get this effect. And when I hang closer to the head I can’t hang ad long as my skin becomes ore much more quicker ….. im Uncut :( what should I do please help!

You are probably mainly stretching the skin if you are attaching the hanger far from the head. This is not an effective technique generally (unless you’re just aiming for skin stretch).

The aim in hanging is NOT to use higher weights. Ideally you should be trying to achieve fatigue with light weights hung for a long period of time. Only when you cannot achieve fatigue with a given weight should you increase weight.

Also, how is hanging more comfortable with the wrap (and hanger attachment?) near the base? What was uncomfortable when it was closer to the head?

Probably a reasonable assumption. You should not, however, be experiencing “sharp” sensations from hanging. It sounds like you may be overdoing it. Good lig fatigue is a dull feeling of tiredness, not of sharp straining. Skin stretch, on the other hand, can be quite a sharp sensation, bordering on burning pain at times.

Someone better versed in PE physiology can answer this question. Personally I have never felt that anything was on the verge of snapping, but some guys do experience a “lig pop” now and then. Generally the goal of hanging is to gradually stretch the ligaments and the tunica — not to rip your dick out from the body and hope that new tissue growth fills in the gap :) . Again, I think you may be overdoing it.

Yikes — if you mean what you think I mean, you need to read this thread. If you keep attaching the Bib sideways, you may end up with a completely numb, useless penis. :fie:

I would reply except Para has pretty much covered it all!
The only thing I will say is that using your Bib in any manner other than the way it was intended could result in serious injury.

With only one month under your belt I would have to ask what weight your starting at. You may be beginning a little high and need to back off to get used to things. The amount of time your spending is important too. Don’t get in a hurry. That’s easily done. Work up to things. If your using your Bib improperly that could be the reason your having spurious pains in strange areas. I would suggest that instead of mounting your hanger up near the base, instead pull our skin back from the gland and hang closer to the gland so your loose skin is between the hanger and base. That way you know your hitting the ligs and not skin.

try doing manuel stretches and see how those feel compared to when you’re hanging. if you feel like something is about to tear when you stretch you could be close to a lig pop. I’ve never had one but some people swear by them for lenght gains. they say it is like poping your nuckle

Its strange ever since i started hanging i been getting harder erections, I cant hang more than 3 lb rightside not sideways, but I have not notice any loss in erection quality, but i will take it easy and see what is more comfortable. When hanging right-side the open-close bolt feels like it applies too much pressure at that particular spot, and gets really painfull really quick, like less than 1 minute, thats why I decided to try hanging sideways. As for hanging close to the head, I guess I have to get moe use to it or something :( . Im uncut and my skin aches before I can keep my fatigue, and I have tried wraping many many ways, maybe with time it will get better.

Been a while since my first post, but I did get a lig pop like sensation, ever since my flacid size is about .5 inches longer, and a little bit thicker. I don’t measure, but when you hold the same dick for 22 years you would notice too if it feels different :) .

Problems understanding

I just received my Bib Hanger in the mail. I’m having some problems trying to figure out how it is supposed to be used.

What exactly is the hanger supposed to be grasping onto? It says that you are not supposed to place the hanger too close to the head… about an inch behind the head instead. Is the hanger supposed to stay an inch behind the head even after the weights are placed? If that is the case, and the hanger is not grasping behind the head, then what exactly is the hanger grasping onto? Obviously, it directly contacts only the skin, but since the skin on the penis generally slides over the underlying tunica and so forth, how can the hanger apply traction to the deep structures / tunica if it is not grasping onto some of the deeper structures, such as the corpora cavernosa or the glans?

I should say that I am uncircumcised, and that I have a healthy amount of foreskin that slides very easily. I’m just no so sure how to apply traction to the corpora cavernosa without just stretching the skin, which I don’t need ot be doing.

What gives?

Also, I’m wondering why I am not able to post new threads in the hanger’s forum. Do I need special permission?

If you are uncircumsized, use the hanger on your right nipple. Start with 10 lbs.

Hello alterego,

One thing you should understand about hanging is the fact that when you hang - you are not pulling on one specific spot of your penis. The hanger is actually pulling your entire penis and causing the stretch from the hanger back. Also, the idea behind a hanger is that it is not hanging onto just skin, but the internal structures, i.e. ligs/tunica. This is the stuff that you want to stretch when you are stretching “your penis”. In fact, you really don’t want the skin to stretch any more than neccessary.
