Hanging sounds like fun, lol

Hey guys, i been stretching and jelqing, and i would now like to start hanging after seeing a fairly satisfying gain.

I would like to know what i could use to make a hanger from what i probably have already in my house!

You may not have everything in your house to make one but I would recommend constructing the Captn’s Wench that was introduced to us in the last couple of months by Captn Hook. I just made mine this past weekend and have started my PE progression to include some hanging.

I’m just in the experimenting stage but eventually I’ll get the hang of it!

Chickenchoker has a hanger that I bought the materials new for $3, and you might have most of them already so could save the $3. It is good for up to about 10 pounds. It is an elegant, small, simple design and the only one that can easily fit in your pocket and be affixed or removed in seconds. I like it a lot: My Two-dollar Chickenchoker Hanger!!

Ike has a good one that you might not have the parts, but can buy them for a few bucks at most any hardware store without too much scrounging. It may be a bit clunky looking, but it will comfortably hold heavy weights: Cheap, simple hanger

And of course the Cadillac of the recent do it yourself hangers is the CaptnHook Wench, which also holds heavy weights, but parts are a bit of a scrounge to find (however VERY worth the effort). This is my favorite do it yourselfer, and it is well worth the effort to build no matter how hard the parts are to find: - The Captn’s Wench: PE Device

That said, I own a BIB, and it is still the one I use most. It is worth every penny, and I recommend that if you are going to hang you should get one before BIB stops production. Start saving today while you hang with the home made models.

I say give it a try. I just added hanging to my routine and really like it. Wish I had been doing this all along.

Error on the side of safety. I looked around the house for a while, really could find nothing suitable for the actual body of the hanger.

The Captn’s Wench looks well thought out and relatively easy and inexpensive to construct.

The BIB hanger is the Cadillac of hangers. I’m going to have to invest in one in a short time. My homemade one is fine for now, really made it just to “kick the tires” of hanging. I have to believe with all BIB’s research and experience, his hanger has got to be non pariel.
