How much have YOU gained from hanging?

Slack I’ve gained about .75 BPFSL and about .25 BPEL from hanging with a wench and ten pounds.I usually hang one twenty minute set in the morning,then 4 or five more twenty minute sets at night.I started this routine in early July and pretty much do it every day.I take a day off when I don’t feel like my peter can take the workout.The last few days however,I’ve been experimenting with splitting the sets up,with as much as two hours in between will give me better results than two hours of straight hanging.By two hours straight I mean hang twenty minutes,ten minute break,then back in the hanger.I don’t want you to think I”m hanging for two straight hours.That would be ridiculous!

Didnt gain anything and Im hanging for about 4 weeks now.

So far I’ve gained 1/10 BPEL and .5 inches in BPFSL. Did this in one month.


Starting stats- 5.9 BP Current stats- 7.5 BP, 5.25 EG, 8.13 BPFSL

I have gained 1/2 inch in BPFSL from 5 weeks of hanging 11 lbs SD, SO, OTS with a wench.

I’ll measure BPEL when I see some visual gains!

I’ve been hanging for 3 weeks and I only saw some BPFSL gains - 0,4” (hope I’ll gain some BPEL also:)


Started september 2004: BPEL 6,1" and EG 5,1" September 2006: BPEL 7,5" and EG 5,5" My longterm goal: BPEL 8,5" and EG 6"

I gained 2.2” in 400 hours actual hanging time at 22.5# over a period of 9 months (4 hang + 1 off + 4 hang). Serious gains start at 17# hanging weight AT THE HANGER down or BTC primarily.

All my length gains have come from hanging I believe. Now that I mixed in stretching I guess I wont be able to tell which came from which, but dont really care ;) . Probably about .4 in. in 1 month.

I got about 1/2” BPEL in about 3 months but I stopped hanging because of the time needed.

What was the duration of your hanging sessions?

I will say about 1 3/4 inches or so. On and off over a period of three years. I only wonder how successful I could be if I actually was religious about it. I do enjoy Thunders immensely and appreciate all the varied opinions. Have never hanged OTS just BTC.

Haven’t hung for 9 months now and would like to get back into it. Quit due to privacy and had hit a plateau at 14 pounds. I couldn’t ever hang over 15 pounds due to glans pressure building up to a problem in the second set.

I’d be real curious about your experience at this point. I have just come off of a 3 month decondition and find that about half of my previous weight feels about right. I’m only in my second week back in my routine so my stats aren’t solid yet but I think they will be promising. I wonder if you will find the weight at a much lower level will bring your old gains back?
