Is hanging lighter a waste?

Is hanging lighter a waste?

Or is it just less effective?

I have been hanging for 3-4 months and am seeing some gains. The thing is, I have never been able to hang heavy enough to produce fatigue within the first or second set due to insecurities with my homemade hanger. Even though I feel I should be hanging heavier, I have been able to create and ride my fatigue consistently with many sets throughout the day(5-8).

I’m just curious to see what ya’ll think about this. My bib is in the mail and I believe it will allow me to hang the proper weight for me to create fatigue early. Could I expect to see accelerated gains? Or will results stay steady since I have been creating and riding fatigue?

No it’s not a waste. Get all you can from the more lite weight. Less risk. With your new bib start low. Read everything you can about bigger to.

As long as your feeling the pull, that’s all that is important. If you have to do more sets to get fatigue, that just means you have to more time put in than the rest of us.

I'm consistent in spurts, but gains are undeniable!

2007: BPEL 5.5" / MSEG 4.7" / BG 5.5"

2017: BPEL 6.8" / MSEG 5.3" / BG 6"

I’m so excited to finally get a Bib Hanger. I’ve been so broke for so long, but I finally get to reward myself(and my dick). Only a couple more days until I can really start hanging.

I would advice you to get an ADS.

This might be the missing key for those of us who can`t hang for long hours every day.

I did not use one the last time I was hanging, but this time I`m going to use one religiously and it will be just as important as the hanging itself.

You do not need an ADS, many people including myself have never used one and the gains have been huge. You do not say how long your sets are but I will assume 15-20minutes, since you have only been hanging for 3 months or so you should be alright at 8lbs. You do need fatigue in order to realize increased size but everyone is different in what weights they are comfortable hanging. It was always pretty obvious to me whether or not I was achieving the desired fatigue since it is not obvious to you, it tells me you might be hanging on the lite side. You never want to exceed practical limits for the period of time you have been exercising, with larger penis’ you can hold more than the smaller chap so adjust accordingly.

Would you mind sharing how much you have gained and what your routine have been?

I have gained just shy of 2” in length and about 1.5” in girth. I did not gain by hanging for hours every day, I was able to hang for about twenty minute sets (just 2 or 3 sets) three or four times a week. What I felt was critical was the amount of weight and varying the hanging angles. As you build size you will be able to hang more weight (this is fairly elementary) but you must push that to your limits in order for maximal gains. You will have good days and bad in your ability to hang heavy loads, but when you feel good you want to hang at your limits.

After I gained an inch I could hang 15lbs+ and upon reaching two inches I can hang 20lbs+ (these are very comfortable weights), so when my penis was very robust I would hang another 5lbs-7lbs to maximize a workout. I would emphasize comfort first, you do not want to throw on heavy weights if you are not ready. I have found that the more comfort I have at heavier loads, the bigger I get in all dimensions.

Wow.

Those are great gains and with very little effort compared to many others.

How long did it take you to gain 2” in length? Did you gain the girth by hanging as well?

Which angles did you use the most?

It took 7 years, so I guess you could not classify it as little effort. I would hang straight down, over the right thigh and over the left, so just three angles. When I maxed out girth through jelq techniques (probably in 12 months), I pretty much just hanged. Hanging can emulate clamping to a large degree without the side effects of permanently bruising tissue.

Great gains and thanks for the advice guys.

To Ren: I do use an ADS of sorts. I’m sure you are familiar with golf weights. Using them throughout the day seems pretty useless to me since I am hanging morning, noon and night(almost). I wear them(3 golf weights) at the end of the day for a couple hours before I go to bed.

To Karl: Your assumption is right. I hang numerous 15-20 mins sets per day with 5-10 minutes rest between sets. I’m also pretty sure you’re right about me hanging too light. I haven’t really explored too much past the 6 lb. mark but am still able to create ride fatigue by swinging, hanging at different angles, and of course hanging many sets a day.

What do ya’ll think about a 2 pound increase a week until I can comfortably reach fatigue in my first or second set. I’m thinking 9-10 pounds is my max atm even though I haven’t hanged at that weight yet.

You have to try it and see if you are comfortable with the increase in weight and also if you are able to reach fatigue for you allotted time. Trial and error homie.

Interesting.

On average, much less than the average Bib hanger would do, but you have hung for quite a few years, so I have to say that is quite impressive.

Congratulations with your gains!

So I got the Bib hanger and started using it today. It definitely has a learning curve, but I am getting used to it.

As of now, the only problems I am having are keeping the shaft straight in the hanger when tightened, and the top tightening screw seems too short.(white bead in way?). I believe the screw is responsible for the shaft straightening problem.

Other than that the Bib seems great. It’s the no-B.S. hanger I’ve been anticipating, and it feels like I’m holding a piece of legend when in my hands. ;)

Congratulations on your hanger!

I don`t follow you regarding the top screw. I have plenty left after tightening. Remember to unscrew it completely from the left side so that nothing sticks out on that side.

I would recommend you to look over at Bib`s forums. The man is a saint. It is unbelievable to see him help out guys year after year after hearing all the same questions over and over again:)

I can post a thread I made regarding some key points on attaching the hanger that really helped me out.

And don`t increase weights too fast. Big mistake.

Regards,

Renholder
