Hi guys I’m new to hanging but not to PE.

I am currently hanging 5lbs at 20 minute intervals for 3 sets and I jelq after each set.

Have been at it for about 1 week now.

I was wondering what you are supposed to feel whilst hanging.

My question is, are you supposed to feel the ligs & penis being stretched or do you just hang so long as there is no discomfort.

I’m not real good with explaining this but I’ll give it a go. You should feel a pull while hanging, do an intense manual stretch and note what you are feeling and duplicate it. Take your finger/s and feel around while hanging.

If it was me, I would be expecting some soreness. It doesn’t have to happen in one day but after a few days to a week of steady hanging I look for mild general soreness. When you first apply the weights during your first set of the day, I definitely expect a spike in soreness that gets your attention but also dissipates rapidly during the set.

Hope this helps some, generally speaking if you are wondering what you are supposed to be feeling then you need to pile on some more weight, but not to the point were you are sweating and wishing time away.

When I feel around the base, I can feel that it’s pulling the ligs.

I notice that when I first put on the weight I can feel it pull and then maybe a minute later, that feeling quickly disappears.

Is this how it’s supposed to feel?

Or is that what is meant to happen?

Well, from my own experience, depending on your hanging device, the initial strain is the hardest. After you get used to the pull it seems to feel less “tuggie”. If you hang for the right amount of time after that you should feel a soreness in your ligs much akin to the feeling in your muscles after a very good work out. I’d be careful, though, don’t hand so long it really hurts.

I have been doing 2 sessions a day, one in the morning and one before bed, for the last couple of weeks. I start hanging 5 pounds (I’m using a vacuhanger, by the way) for maybe an hour to half an hour. At that point, I can really begin to feel the tug and i switch to hanging three golf weights . That way i maintain the extension and give Mr. Happy a break at the same time. Then after about 15 minutes I switch back to the 5 pound weight for an additional hour or so.

Once you are finished a session you should feel well worked out but not in pain and your penis should hang longer than before. If you push yourself too hard you could end up getting a bad turtle reaction out of your penis. In many respects PE is like bodybuilding. You get similar responses from your body that will let you know if you are doing it right. Just listen.

I have been sticking to hanging 5lbs for 20 minutes for 3 sets and after the third set, I still don’t feel that the ligs are fatigued.

The only time I feel the ligs are stretching is just a minute into the start of each set.

Should I be increasing the weight?

My routine is very similar to devilknight, VacExtender @5pounds, 30-40 minutes morning and evening.

I do SD or BTC hang (sometime I use rice sock) in the morning, while doing SD, I will inhale slowly by stomach, to feel more ligs stretch, and most of the time I can feel a little bit hurt (not pain) in my lower part stomach.

While for the evening session, I change direction every week, SD, OTL left/right and UTL left/right. When I kegel when I hang SD, a strong feeling at my base, by this way, I am hoping to strengthen the base muscle tissue and thus exlanrging my base since I have a very bad bat.

I personally prefer increasing the hanging time rather than the weight. But of course, if you are not using vac system, the limitation would be 20 minutes per set, and with vac system, time is not really a matter. I will only add the time whenever I feel less soreness.

As mentioned by Mr. Nine, do the manual stretch and duplicate the feeling. Hanging and stretching are basically the same thing.

It actually cleared a lot of things up for me.

I have started to Kegel from time to time when hanging and i can feel the ligs really pull.

I’m just hanging SD or BTC as I want to target the ligs first and foremost.

I’m currently doing about 40 minutes (2 * 20 minute sets) with 5mins of jelq in between sets per day. Does this sound like its enough to begin with and should i increase sets/time every few weeks?

Most long term hangers have said the gains are permanent if you cement the gains that you have made.

To me, I want to believe that they are permanent so then I can stay motivated and keep on hanging.

All kinds of gain are permanent if you can keep doing the routine. One will loose some gain once they stop, I never heard someone loose all gain.

It’s more than enough for beginning, just keep the routine as long as it gives you gain. Just in case you want to do more, I would say 2 * 25 if you use vac-hanging device, otherwise, add more sets.

I’m using the vacuhanger device and is very comfortable that I feel I can go on for longer, however, I’m quite new to it and don’t want to overdo it.

Perhaps I might go for 2 sets of 25minutes for now and in a months time change it up to 3 sets of 20minutes.
