Rethinking the Bib Hanger

I have a question about the new BIB (it was called a BETA starter). On the order page it is called “Hardcore” and recommended only for experienced hangers. My husband loves his padded starter, and I was thinking of surprising him with this new one. BUT-if it’s ONLY for guys with a great deal of experience-maybe I should wait?

On a different note-I felt, and still do to a degree, rather awkward about visiting this site, let alone posting. I would just like to say that, especially considering the topics discussed, all of the men here seem to be complete gentlemen.

It’s a great hanger and I can’t imagine he wouldn’t like it as far as being hard core it seems just as hard core as the regular hanger just a better design.

As far as you posting here and us being gentlemen you are very welcome here and I’m glad so far we have you totally fooled on the gentlemen thing.

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

We’re pretty much as gentlemanly as you’ll find in the general pop, intel. For whatever that’s worth.

The beta is a great hanger. But so is the BIB Starter. I do think the former is more suited to the ‘experienced’ hanger and the latter is better suited to the ‘starting’ hanger. I think ‘hardcore’ is an appropriate term for the beta as it engages deeper tissues than any other hanger of which I’m aware (except possibly a properly aligned de-gelled Starter).

Importantly, I think your concern is well founded. I’m of the opinion that PE is best served by a strategy based on consistency and it’s first cousin, comfort. In the context of hanging, these are best served by a hanger with which one is simpatico. If your husband loves the BIB Starter he’s using, let him stick with it. If he’s fortunate enough to one day exhaust the tissue deforming limits of his BIB Starter, then the beta would be a logical next step.

It’s very nice of you to be so concerned and involved with your husband’s PE endeavors. I hope he’s appropriately appreciative of that. I’m sure we’re all appreciative of your participation here. Please don’t hesitate to ask for assistance and please offer yours when you think you can help us.

Thanks for the input.

Now that the kids are out of the house, the husband and I have a great deal more time for our own interests, and for being involved in each others interests. We’ve remembered what it is that we found so fascinating about each other back those many years ago!

He is a very methodical and motivated man, and has found the science of this process of PE to be fascinating. Frankly, I was more than a bit skeptical (and found the whole idea rather weird) in the beginning. Then I realize how many of my friends spend THOUSANDS of dollars having “work” done on themselves, and decided that spending money to have someone cut on you is REALLY weird. How much better to be able to make changes yourself, naturally, and actually get to know more about yourself in the process!

I’ve been using the regular Bib since I believe it was July of this year and after getting use to all the small details required with using the Bib I really like it.

I just revisited Bibs site and saw the pics of the new “Hardcore Starter”. I know what my next purchase will be for PE.

I believe I could rotate between the reg bib and the HardCore so as to change where the grip is on the shaft allowing one area to rest.

Is there a need for more wrapping while using the Hardcore version versus the regular with no padding?

If you do this, please post your feelings about switching between the two. My husband has been using the starter model for a couple of months now (with lovely results :-) ) and is thinking about getting the HC also.

  1. The plastic encapsulating the top screw needs to be thicker to prevent break-out through the hole.
  2. The top screw is too slow. A faster, less precise screw should be used.
  3. The bottom screws should be spring-loaded so that the interior nuts are not needed. This would make the hanger more adjustable while being worn. Faster screws would also come in handy here.
  4. Bushings should be provided through the plastic holes near where the bottom nuts attach, to prevent the screw threads from binding against the plastic.
  5. Stop nuts should be used to hold the nylon strap to the plastic shells. I made this change on my own hanger to prevent the straps from falling off mid-set.
  6. The screws that hold the side straps should be moved up (closer the to top screw). As it stands, the hanger causes the penis it curve up under load because it doesn’t pull along the plane of the penis’ greatest resistance. The screws should be on the same plane as the dorsal surface of the penis. They should not be in the middle. Ideally, the positions of the screws should be adjustable.
If I were an enterprising PE entrepreneur I would just do this all myself so that others could buy it. But I’m not. Perhaps Bib or someone else would be interested in taking this design to the next level. Meanwhile, I’m feeling happy to still have this hanger in my special drawer.

MM,
In regards to the top screw being too slow, try thumping it. Keep a used toothbrush and clean the thread periodically and lubricate areas with 3 way oil. It takes me about 30 seconds to take my dick out of my pants and be hanging. Try taking all the slack out of the straps you can stand without them coming into contact with the glans.

Thanks, Alice. By “slow” I meant that it takes too many turns to crank the hanger down and also to get it off. I think Bib used 6-32 or 8-32 screws, which I think means 32 turns per inch. 24 would work better, IMO. It would still provide plenty of precision but would be 1/3 faster to screw and unscrew.

But, like you said, oiling the screws would work, too.

Have you ever thought that the shape of the fingers should be straight, | | instead of round ( )?

Hey guys! I made my own version of the hanger, taking into account your wishes and improving the design. I hope, dear moderators allow me to upload a photo?

Dear Sirs, Moderators!

I can’t upload any photos, I also can’t contact via feedback. Please answer me in the mail to: fongeht@gmail.com

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sincerely.

It looks like a cry of a lonely man in the desert.

Did those mods help prevent twisting inside the hanger? This much modification especially the metal work is beyond my capabilities, but it’s interesting for sure.

PS, you bumped a decade plus old thread, which may explain why the mods haven’t responded. Or maybe the whole coronavirus crisis…
