Straight hanging w/ never having Jelqed

I have a question, idea, or something else. I was wondering if anyone went to just hanging with some type of hanger with little to zero jelqing before? A Bib (home Brew or Production starter or regular) Wench, or any other hanger would do really. Did the discoloration seem worse? Was it harder/longer to move up? I was wondering if you missed conditioning with Jelqing does that give you a harder time with the pressures put on the dick by hanging. Swelling, discoloration, lack of comfort, etc….

Back when I did some hanging, I did VERY moderate jelq-type re-circ exercises in between sets. I don’t think that full blown jelqing would really help on the pressures and conditioning, but the reason I didn’t go all out on hanging/jelqing combo was for good circulation. I’ve noticed that taking manual exercises even a little bit too far can result in bad circulation and the shrinky dick syndrome. NOT a good thing to have going on when one is trying to keep a warm, circulated dick in a hanger. I wanted absolutely no jelq induced congestion when I hung, even then the head would get a bit chilly toward the 20 minute mark.

I can’t speak for the discoloration much, didn’t have a problem with it. It appears that hanging is very different on the penis, it may look like hell out of a hanger, but within a few minutes all is back to normal. Dare I say, clamping a Bib around the dick with 20 lbs is actually gentler than alot of manual exercises.

I will speculate that alot of swelling or a jelq donut in conjunction with hanging MAY put one at risk for discoloration. The only discoloration I had was from manual stretching and that was during heavy jelq/squeeze sessions. Perhaps the initial damage from the manual grip was made worse by the already stressed skin from squeezes/jelqs? I don’t know, but the stress on skin from manual exercises can be great and it wouldn’t be out of the question that it could indeed compromise the skin’s ability to flush-out any blood/bruising that occurs.

There’s a hell of a thread somewhere here on discoloration, wraps, and flushing of the interstitial(sp) spaces. Bib mastered it, I never could get the wraps down, but my discoloration faded naturally. If your curious, you could start with a search on Dance, maybe Merlin, wrapping would eventually drag it up as well.

I think it’s better to do a basic manual routine for a month or two before hanging. This allows time for the soft tissues to begin conditioning and provides an opportunity for the newbie to practice the basics while learning how his penis responds.

Thanks guys. I was trying to see if their was a risk vs reward ratio to be tracked on doing it alone, in combo, stage apart, etc…. Do you think jelqing before, during, at hanging leads to easier skin stretching or not? Basically what I am picking your brains for is to see what type of deal manual and hanging have on other considerations. Raising Lot, exhausting ligs slowerr, faster, stuff like that. Just ideas in my mad mind today.

A combo doesn’t work for me. Jelqing, squeezing, etc. immediately before or between hanging sets gives me too much fluid buildup when hanging. I’ll get an ugly, bloated bubble on the skin under the glans. No good.

If your skin is tight almost any PE exercise will stretch it to some degree. Small changes in technique (including wrapping and hanger placement) can shift the focus away or toward the skin, depending on what you’re doing.

I tried to answer, but damned if I understand what you’re getting at. :confused:

My mistake Hobbster. What I am trying to see if there is ways to maximize things by correlating how people did things in gains with hanging only, combo hanging, etc…

That’s all. I don’t know if anyone tabulated or even cared to tabulate this before. I was just curious to see if there would be any useful knowledge gained. I guess it would have to be another experiment with test groups or some shit like that. I am not a scientist though.
