Trying to get started

Hi, I’m very interested hanging for length increase, i’m currently around 6.25” or so, I’d like to get started but I have some questions, I hear the terms tunica and LOT, what do those mean?..

Also, I need a hanging device, I don’t have that much money, so I want to see if i can try those homemade hangers first, the swimcap or the pvc tubing thing, but where do i get those materials from? Any ideas? I don’t want to spend like $100 on a hanger is I achieve the same results for cheaper.

You can find info about LOT in the first threads of the Main Member forum.

The cheapest hanger to build ( although you will need a power drill ), at less than $9, is the CCH3.

AND IT ROCKS

Here is the main thread of the CCH3:

Oh looky here! The CCH3.

It’s been out over 2 months and so far I have not seen a complaint of numbness using it with sets under 20 min.
:)

How can your hanger be cheaper than Hubbard’s AFB hanger made of stuff you find around the house? My version of the AFB and most of the bibclones are cheaper than $9 too.

I didn’t take into account stuff you find around the house BUT then again, if you found 1” PVC in your garage, then the CCH3 becomes even cheaper, maybe even free!

It can also be argued that “stuff laying around the house” had at one time in the past been bought somewhere for a price.

Ok, that looks cool but how much weight can it handle? It seems a little scary because it looks like too much weight will send it falling off :( But I’m curious to know like how much weight should you hang to achieve results? Lets say a Bib’s Hanger can handle 25 lbs or something and yours can handle 12 lbs, but lets say i need 20 to get results. I want a cheap hanger but one that can handle enough weight to get results.

So far, I like the swimcap method that I read a while back, and the CCH3 looks simple to put on, and I read some pvc tubing homemade Hanger that Bib made.

Looks are deceiving. The CCH3 grabs tighter as you add on the weight due to the design of what I call the “cord translation grasping technology”. I’ve hung with as much as 18 lbs. Once it takes a hold of the internal structures, it will not let go.

OK guess what, to help prevent slippage, I just wrapped my right index and middle fingers together with a 4” strip of Ace self-adhesive bandage and set the CCH3 between the knuckes ( that is between the metacarpal phalangeal joints and the proximal interphalangeal joints ).

It just lifted a 50 lb. chair!!!

By the way, thanks for the feedback. It’s interesting to see how newbies view the CCH3.

Piet may be right in that his hanger looks to be the cheapest as far as materials go. However, you also need to look at all the features and conveniences of each model before you decide. You have to take into account factors such as ease of making it, ease of use, safety record, comfort, stealth capabilities, strength, degree of wrapping needed, as well as cost.

You can certainly do research on the feedback given to all the different models here.

Cheap, ease of making it, comfortness and strong enough to handle a lot of weight I guess.

Has anyone out there made gains by a selfmade-hanger?

Im asking because all the hangers looks scary and unsafe.

I have.

Just what makes a hanger look “scary and unsafe”?
:-k
Is there one that does not look “scary and unsafe”?

Surpreme,

The difference in price between the "do-it-yourself" hangers is negligible and insignificant really. In most cases, we’re talking a difference of only $5-$10 between them. More important than the price is the quality of the design and proper use of it. Your worries about them looking scary are valid, they can be. Incorrect technique can damage the nerves in your penis and cause numbness/pain. Regardless of the application you choose, just be sure to read all you can about it and start off slow. If you feel any pain, or loss of circulation, stop immediately and adjust accordingly.

The cheapest hanger I’ve ever built was the original homemade Bib hanger. Couple of dollars for the PVC, foam and clamp and I was hanging. I didn’t use it long however because I didn’t like the fact that it gripped all the way around my penis. I then moved on to a few other designs that have worked better. For a complete list, check out the Homemade Hanger Models and Instructions thread.

I like tryn4mores hanger so far, trying to understand how he made it though. Honestly, I just want something thats easy to make and effective. Also, I like the idea of just going to Office Depot to get all the materials :D

Supreme,

You won’t find the materials for a hanger at Office Depot (if you meant Home Depot then just ignore me :) ).

I would recommend constructing either the Captain’s Wench or the CCH3. I personally have used the Wench since it’s inception and have gained over 1” with it. The design is very good and it will hold my max weight without a problem. However, cheap does not always equal easy. If you’re looking for ease of building (none) and use, then buying a real production model Bib Hanger will be your best bet.

Tryn4more said you get the parts at Office Depot, I just don’t understand the steps too well, weren’t as well wrote with pictures as the other hanger threads had.

Supre,

Tryn4more’s hanger is much harder to make than the others.

If your worried about it, perhaps try one of the others .I use both the Wench and CCH3 and find them both great.

If I really had to pick one of them, I’d say the CCH3 as I find it easier to keep on comfortably (I’m uncut) as the weight hung dictates the clamping force applied to your unit. Either one of them (I can’t say for the rest because I neither made nor hung with them) is a great introduction to hanging.
