I’m with you on everything except this. I’m able to hang increasingly more weight by adding HTWs. I believe that I’m adding “plug” by doing this. If I’m right, it would stand to reason that someone with less “natural” “plug” could augment it with HTW “plug”. Thats my thinking anyway. I’d love it if someone with less “natural” “plug” would experiment with multiple HTWs and the spread BIB configuration to test the veracity of my thought.

Buck’s fascia is the deep layer of the penile fascia that covers both the corpora cavernosa and the corpus spongiosum in separate fascial compartments. Proximally, Buck’s fascia is attached to the perineal membrane; distally, it is tightly attached to the base of the glans penis at the coronal sulcus, where it fuses with the ends of the corpora.

In other words, the corpora, glans, and Buck’s fascia all fuse together at the "coronal sulcus."

I’ll give it a try during my next foray into hanging. I’d do it sooner, but the problem really doesn’t become troublesome until I’m hanging over 15#, and my dick isn’t ready to support that much weight at the moment.

That’s be great Modesto. Others are welcome to try it too :) .

xeno,

>I’ve put wing nuts on the basal screws and do ALL of my size adjustments with these screws.

One forehead slap later, let’s see if it’s bingo time:

You run the 2.5” screws through both left and right plastic, keep wing-nuts on both the left- and right-hand side, and no nuts, no hinges, no nuthin’ on the inside?
If that’s the xeno real deal with wide angle, I will have to try this with a new set of screws. Longer, I think. Shall we say 3” :)

>I think it must have been a defective pour on Ulcaster’s hanger.

I asked Ulcaster if there were bubble pockets where it snapped. He reported negative.

>There’s simply very little bending moment applied to the screws.

With the in-session adjustments on the basal screws, yes alright. With the plastics pre-fixed to basal screws, bending will get tough at wider angles; which is the way I’ve been doing it.

>To be perfectly honest with you, I think Bigger was probably just trying to indicate to you how robust the plastic >is…when poured correctly.

Definitely possible, or he’s just tight enough friends with trial and error by now. Either way, I’m very confident that he fixes or replaces a broken hanger when it happens. Because certainly it can happen, if for no other reason than shit happens.
Aside, he’s earned my respect, which extends to his way of running this business.

>What’s this “Like a Virgin” girth mean?

Reservoir Dogs, opening scene round table conversation on the lyrics of the song…
“Like a Virgin” describes the experience of a non-virgin (a.k.a. Madonna) being screwed by a hung fella.

>HTWs are thin, I don’t know like 0.5mm when on your dick. I recommend you get some

Will do, thank you for sharing! The picture on Monty’s site shows black HTWs. You’re still using white, are you? Any significant difference between white and black HTWs?

Quite a few posts here deserve a thread of their own (“Bib hanging confusion”) or as a continuation of another thread. The info might be helpful to others as well, but it will never be found in this thread.

Something isn't adding up.

Back to topic, something isn’t adding up in my head.

How can you go from just able to get in a few sets in with a Bib Hanger due to _______ (fill in the blank problem) and then all the sudden getting a Vac Hanger and the presto you’re able to hang all day? I’ve got to admit that I don’t think the vacuums can make the grade by stressing the tissues as a Bib can and will, otherwise I wouldn’t be seeing reports like “Be careful, you can hang for an hour with a “vac”.

The Bib hangers aren’t built to hurt anyone, they can be comfortable.

I find vacuum hangers have the same problem as pumpers. Too much vacuum can cause lymph problems, blisters, etc.

I really don’t think they are good for wts about about 15 lbs…and even then most guys won’t be able to take that vacuum force for long.

The postive side of vacuum hangers is a very short learning curve to use it comfortably within the limits of you ability to withstand the vacuum forces.

Also, it naturally pulls at the root of the penis with very little skin stretch beyond what the root is stretching, while most hangers get significant skin pull unless you have really mastered it…which few achieve.

You’re hanging a lot less weight with a vacuum hanger. At 10# and below, vacuum hangers are insanely comfortable—much moreso than a BH or Wench. That’s because there is no tissue compression. THere is tissue expansion, however, which limits the maximum safe weight to about 10#.

Vacuum hangers are a bit more efficient than clamp hangers. I define efficiency as weight borne by the CCs and CS divided by total weight hanged. Because they involve minimal skin stretch, vacuum hangers are perhaps 95% efficent at 10#, whereas a Bib is about 80% efficient (WAG). In other words, hanging 10# a vacuum-style hanger feels the same to your “internals” as hanging 11.5 or 12# with a BH.

WAG?

How do you arrive at 80%? (suggestive music in the background, as Piet sharpens his knives)

In all honesty though, I think one needs to take into account the time / weight factor. It seems to me that a lot of the comparisons are a bit apple/orange - if the current recommendation of 20 minute time limit for compression hangers is used, then one should compare that to a 20 minute set of vacuum hanging (and not get surprised that one gets a blister after 2 hours…)

WAG = Wild Assed Guess. Using percentages is probably the wrong approach, since a percent effiency measure will vary with weight.

It’s probably a better idea to think in terms of pounds resistance. At 10# weight, the Bib Hanger probably loses 2# in the skin. At 15#, it may lose only 2.5# to skin—a different percentage.

I think of vacuum hangers as filling a need between heavy hangers, like the BH or Wench, and ADS’s.

I also think vacuum hangers aren’t worth the trouble if one only hangs for 20 minute sets. I think they’re actually harder to put on and take off than conventional hangers. The benfit is, you can put them on and leave them on, and they’re incredibly comfortable while they’re on.

BTW: Has anybody tried using the silicone sleeves (like those that ship with MonkeyBar’s vacuum hanger) as a wrap for the BH or Wench? My impression is they’d be very comfortable but not very durable.

I just have to ask; Why would one need to hang heavy weights? Would it not be better to decondition and start over with light weights?

I am gaining better than ever and I am using 3kg with a vacuum hanger. I am also doing less PE than I ever have.

I have to agree with you here babbis!

However, it may turn out that some guys have natural tissue strength that requires more…but really I have a hard time believing more than 15 lbs is ever needed….unless you toughen your tissues by using too much.

If you go down that road, then I think you could end up being able to tow a truck…and probably not gain much!

This is a design flaw.

I wish someone would take a look at the one I made. I had posted a pic of it somewhere here.

It goes on in about 5 seconds, and is large enough to also expand the glans while you hang.

It also distributes the forces evenly over the entire glans so you are much less likely to blister.

I’m hoping one of these newer vacuum hangers will incorporate the larger chamber, smaller neck concept.

It makes sealing it much easier.

I have a small valve attached to it, so you can attach a hose, use your mouth to create a vacuum to pull the penis in.

When you are done, just open the valve and let air in as you pull out…works great and the entire glans is expanded while you hang.

I haven’t tried the Max-Vac, only the Vac-Hanger. But I don’t see that any conventional hanger would be faster to put on than the Vac-Hanger, considering the wrapping when using a conventional hanger.
