Blood collecting in coronal ridge while pumping?

During the month of December I took up pumping again.

I gradually worked up to 40 to 50 minute sessions at between 3 and 5HG (varying the pressure).

I stayed in the cylinder the whole time, but would cycle down to 1Hg or less every now and then.

I noticed that blood was collecting in the ridge around my glans, so that the ridge was blue by the time I was done. It would go away in a few minutes after I came out of the cylinder.

It is making me nervous, so much so that I have stopped pumping.

Is this something to worry about?

It’s hard to tell without seeing it, sta, but as you are worried about it, perhaps some modifications to your routine are in order.

How about coming out of the tube completely periodically during your session and do a little light massage or a few jelqs?

I’d say it’s normal. The glans has a network of veins draining it and they coalesce near the coronal ridge before entering the deep dorsal vein on the shaft. This would be a reason for the the area and color you see when under vacuum.

I haven’t noticed any ill effects, but I will follow Lamp’s advice and modify my routine.

UPDATE: I’m staying in the 2.5 to 3.OHG range these days, I am not having this problem.

I really am liking this pressure range, workouts are quite good.

I get this some times when pump with to much pressure, and really long sessions. It does away in 24 hrs.

Yeah that is basically what is happening. To make a long story short, I pumped at 5HG a couple days ago, and got that. It did go away in 15 mins or so.

Exact same thing wouldhappen to me while in the pump. Some of it had to do with me having a pronounced upward curve that would press the glans against the tube when erect, but it goes away and has never had an effect on me.
