Gauge's for low pressure pumping

Hey folks.

I’m thinking of getting into pumping and was looking to purchase the best pump I could. In the end if I spend $30 more for something, it’s not going to break me.

Looking at probably the best out there - the Mightvac MV8510… The vacuum range on the gauge starts at 5” hg… (Big zero “range”)

So my question is - is there a really great hand pump out there that doesn’t have this “limitation” or could I easily replace that gauge with one that is more precise, and allows a much better indication of the vacuum?

Brass pump, gauge starts at 0. Excellent pump, there is a thread about it in the pumpers forum. Had mine for several years.
