My Goal vs My Cylinder Size. Advice?

I am traffic cone shaped.

The last time I “theorized” and set a goal, I decided I wanted to try to get some more girth on the top third of my unit.

So I went down a cylinder size. I pack the first 2/3rds relatively quickly.

I thought I would get a little midshaft girth out of this, but it does not seem like I am going to.

Recently I have been “thinking” again. Would really like to break the 5-inch MSEG barrier, thinking the top third will still see some improvement.

Should I step back up to the larger cylinder? Or do something like first set smaller cylinder, the remaining sets in the larger cylinder? Or some variation of that?

Any ideas much appreciated.

Personally I think it’s a sound idea— how long have you been hitting this method?

I’ve always been confused by advice, other than in cases such as yours, where the advice is to go down in cylinder size and pack the cylinder— I’d think that since vacuum forces are distributed ‘multi-laterally’ there is no upside to limiting the expansion to one direction.

I got the idea to go a size down from a guy on LPSG. I can’t remember his reasoning exactly, but it made sense at the time.

Your post makes me think and remember how my gains have worked since starting pumping. I never packed more than the first third of the larger cylinder. I saw midshaft gains. AND I also saw top third gains. When I started pumping I had a rather sharp taper from circ scar to right under the glans. Over time, that sharp taper has diminished to a more gentle taper.

You’ll find you get to a point when you are packing the first couple of inches of you’re tube too easily or

For too long, that it will prevent you getting a good natural erection, I find this just leads to fluid build up

Rather than true expansion,

Certainly having a larger tube to do later sets in works well but I think limiting the base just limits expansion,

I just moved up a size and am getting larger post workout expansion than I was packing half the smaller tube.

Sta-Kool, you do any manual girth work before jumping into the tube? Try some Sadsak’s head right before pumping, it may help.

Turnau, I don’t do any manual work before pumping. That is a great idea. I have gotten gains from the sadsak’s in the past so I will start giving that a go.

capernicus1 good advice. I did go up a size. And I have another size up from the one I am using now, so sounds like I am set.

Cool mate, it took me about 2 weeks of using the 2.5inch tube to get used to it and stop getting the odd leak at the base
But now it’s working out way better, post pump expansion is up about 1/4 inch all over,
Didn’t realise how much the smaller tube was restricting things.

I have a slight baseball bat thing going on from some jelqing gains years ago, slowly the pump is evening things out, it’s the mid shaft for me that’s the
Problem so I’m going to do 3 months in the larger tube then try going back down a size for a week or two,
I reckon if I can pack the tube at both ends near the start of session the middle may catch up.
Will report back on the results if any ones interested.
