Penis Pump help

Hey guys, I’ve been doing a lot of research on penis pumps lately as it’s something I’d like to begin adding to my jelqing routine (as it’s becomming more advanced I’d like to break jelqing up into sets and pump for short periods inbetween gradually working my way longer). As it stands, I’ve read up on many pumps, and I’ve also seen a lot of people talking about the diameter of the tube being an issue. There is, unfortunately, a vast amount of information on here and I think it’s making it difficult for me to work through. If someone could help either by answering my questions or pointing me in the correct direction, that would be great. Again, I realize people have probably asked this stuff before, but it’s either outdated, contradicted, or covered by too much other information to find exact answers.

I am roughly 7-7.5 NBPEL depending on mood, and about 5.6-5.75 in girth. I’ve heard that an ideal pump for that size would be about 9 inches long and 2 inches in diameter. Would there be any benefit in me looking for a 2.25 or even 2.5 in. diameter tube?

I’ve been looking at the Pro-Xzek, and the LA pump deluxe package, but I’m very open to any other suggestions. As it stands, being a poor college student, I’m fairly limited on funds. I can probably spend 120-130 dollars max on this product. If anyone has had good experiences with anything in that price range, please let me know.

If anyone has any additional advice on this topic that would be good for someone who is new to it (and i’ve read some of the pumping 101, but 68 pages is too much for quick reading…) I’m all ears.

Thanks in advance guys,

Joe

I bought a Kaplan pump a couple of years back. It had a pressure gage for safety and its held up pretty well. I don’t remember how much I paid, but I’m pretty sure it was waaaay under $120. There is a world of GREAT pumping information, but I have to ask one simple question……….. have you done the newbie routine at all??? It might be too soon to worry about getting a pump, at least until you find out how you respond to manual exercise.

Selecting Your Cylinder Size suggests that a 2.0" diameter cylinder is right for you, and you would not want to go any shorter than 9.0" (two inches longer than your current erect length).

There would not be a benefit to your going to a 2.25 or 2.5" cylinder. It would just increase the chance that you would pull one of your testes into the cylinder.

The LA Pump package would be a much better choice than the Pro-Xzek (Penis Pumps | Adult Sex Toys | Adam & Eve) The Pro-Xzek is a "one size fits all" cylinder.

2.25” sounds good for you. The issue with getting larger sizes is you risk sucking other extremities into the tube. I recommend units from pumptoys.com. They are well-crafted and comfortable.

ok, I just wanted to make sure I get something that was quality. As for experience, I did PE on and off a long time ago, and have been going for about a month now. I am young, heal quickly and am taking suppliments to assist. I also plan on adding it in extremely lightly, although my body has taken to PE pretty well, and I don’t plan on starting it for another 2 weeks to a month, I just wanted to get the pump itself selected and shipped out so it would be ready when I was.

I’ll look through the sites for pumps and then post on here to see if you guys think what I choose is quality stuff. I’ll look between 2” and 2.25” for sizing.

thanks again,

Joe

Of course, if you want to save some money and have a little time, you could buy cylinder and male adapter from one of the major suppliers, and the pump and tubing from Harbor Freight:

Boston Pump
LAPump
PumpToys
Vacutech

I’m including Boston Pump in the list, but keep in mind that there seem to have been multiple complaints here as of late about customer service from them.

Lap pump = harbor freight tools pump

Well, here are the ones I’ve looked at so far, any preferences towards any of these?

1.) http://www.vacu tech.com/prodde … A100030SIZELUBE Priced at 149.99

2.) Priced at 119.99
-Or Priced at 135.99 (Can someone tell me the difference? is it just slightly larger/higher quality tube?)

3.) | LA Pump Priced at 139.99

I’m also going to look on Ebay to see if there are any deals on anything, but do these all sound good to everyone? could someone tell me the pro’s and con’s of each in relation to the others? I don’t mind spending the extra money on it if it’s worth it but I’d just like to know what justifys the extra cost

thanks again

These both seem like much better deals for the same equipment, does this seem legitimate?

You can find the Boston pump cylinders online for roughly 50 dollars last I checked, I have one and love it, you will need to buy a male adapter, and a harbor freight pump will do. I highly recommend the Boston pump cylinder, as long as you are willing to wait several weeks for it to ship, and to not be able to get much of anything in the way of customer service. My pump is very well manufactured, and is so comfortable, but getting in touch with anyone over there is short of impossible.

All except for the LA Pump have a plastic pump, and experiences here have not been good with those in terms of durability. If you want to go with one stop shopping, the LA Pump with the metal pump and the gauge is probably your best bet.

The major difference between the two Boston Pumps would appear to be the silicone donut at the base of the more expensive combo.

If you’re willing to buy from more than one place, I like the Vacutech thickwall cylinder ($99.95 plus s/h)
http://www.vacu … ucts.asp?cat=11
and the male adapter from Vacutech ($8.23 plus s/h)
http://www.vacu … ucts.asp?cat=14
and then get the pump and tubing from Harbor Freight ($19.99 plus s/h)
http://www.harb orfreight.com/c … temnumber=92474

That whole combo would wind up slightly cheaper than the LA Pump package, and you would have the thickwall cylinder, which I prefer. Cylinder style is admittedly a matter of personal preference, though.

what is the benefit, if you don’t mind my asking, of a thickwall cylinder? Is it just higher quality and more durable? Also are those 3 items all that I would need to create a pump? The nice thing about having a kit is it’s already pre-assembled. I have no problem with building stuff but it makes me nervous because I feel that if I made a mistake I could easily hurt myself. Perhaps buying a pre-built kit would at least ease my mind.

The first one — I would avoid Kaplan because the cylinders are tapered. That is they get narrower towards the head on your penis. I don’t think that is a good idea.

The second is a piece of junk. That is like something you would get in an adult bookstore — will no doubt break after 1 or 2 uses.

Lampwick has put together an excellent package for you. Vacutech makes excellent equipment.

Here is my budget version:

Item P124 - Jim Diamond 2 inch cylinder $27.95 Picture Brite Retail
Quick disconnect male fitting PN: 5012k251 $1.42 McMaster-Carr
The harbor freight pump $19.99 Harbor Freight Tools – Quality Tools at Discount Prices Since 1977
And an 6 or 8 foot length of clear tubing, 3/16" ID, 5/16" OD, 1/16" Wall Thickness from your local hardware store.

I have not included shipping. You would need to calculate that too — maybe this is not such a bargain!

Maybe picturebrite can sell you the tubing and the male connector as well.

The standard shipping on the harbor freight site is VERY VERY slow. So best to call in the order, or better yet just go to the store.

You do get some tubing with the harbor freight pump, but it is short and smells kinda bad.

This is pretty much my setup - I also have a boston pump cylinder which I like slightly better than the Jim Diamond. This is the Boston cylinder:

$49.95

The seller is actually boston pump. So like Under6dreamof9 says, $50.00 on the net. Also like he says, 2 weeks to ship, and very lackluster customer service.

You will see at picturebrite that they have a kit with a cylinder and pump for $60.00. However we are hearing bad things about this pump, it looks like the harbor freight one but does not work very well. The harbor freight pump is excellent.

It’s a matter of individual preference, house. I like the thickwall cylinders, as I think they’re more comfortable. I guess it would be more durable as well.

And yes, that’s all you need. A cylinder, a pump with gauge, tubing, and a male adapter to adapt to the female connector on the cylinder. The Harbor Freight pump comes with the tubing (although some have replaced it; they thought it had a ‘chemical’ smell to it). Tubing is cheap and not hard to find, though. The local big box home supplies store (Home Depot or Lowes) ought to have it.

(I’m assuming that you already have a watch or clock to time your session. :) )

Wow thanks for the help guys, this really means a lot.

I will consider all of these but I like the recently drawn up combination. Only wish that I could buy from 2 or fewer stores, ordering from 3 different places simultaneously seems like a bad idea since you guys have mentioned that they have unreliable customer service. I’ll continue to look and piece together and see what I can come up with

I have never used it but if you go the the flesh light site they have one for about 135.00.
