Pump Arrived but...

Well, it’s been more then a week since I ordered my pump. It’s alot bigger then I imagined and the sleeve feels quite comfortable.

Slipped it on and began pumping. No pressure. What the fuck? I inspected the pump and found 2 massive cracks at the base. In their atttempt to fit it in the smallest parcel bag possible they squashed the box and ended up cracking the cylinder.

I’m so fucking pissed about this as this company has always been difficult.

Not going to waste my money sending it back for replacement, fuck that, I’ll buy another cylinder from another company and retro fit the pump/gauge to that and use some resin to try and fix the cracks.

I’ve included a pic of the 2 cracks.

I’m. Pissed. Off. :furious: Think I’ll go and destroy myself at the gym.

Just had another look at the pump. The whole top lid that the hose attaches to isn’t even sealed. It pulled off with minimal effort.

I'm a big fan of 50 Cent, or as we call him in Zimbabwe, four hundred million dollars.

I don’t know where you bought that from, but that cylinder is a piece of crap. Sorry, the truth hurts sometimes. But hey, I made the same mistakes when I first started. I finally learned to buy quality one time instead of second best many times.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Haha I know, the whole thing is a piece of crap really. I wanted an LA Pump but the money and time factor of getting it here is the drama for me. The company I got this pump from also stock LA Pumps but they’re dear as poison and after this episode it would probably come IKEA style and I’ll have to build the fucker myself.

That is a piece of junk, like gprent says. Sorry it is broken, but you may be better off that it is.

I can’t remember — are you in the US or Europe? If the US, I bet we can come up with some good quality yet economical solutions.

Neither, I’m in Australia.

The cylinder wall is about 5mm thick and it’s fairly sturdy, so for them to crush it they would have had to have put alot of force on it. I’m disappointed a company could be so careless.

AH MAN, try to get your money back. You don’t really want to mess with retrofitting and patching do you?

Happy for you that you live in Australia, sad that I can’t help you put together a economical but good pumping package.

Ha! I think the only thing that isn’t fucked is the hose. The gauge doesn’t zero and the pump doesn’t hold vacuum. I’m waiting on their reply, I’ve sent them an email with pic attached. See what they say.

An LA Pump is going to set me back close to $300 ($155 for cylinder, $120 for pump more if I want a guage with it and $10postage). More then I’d care to spend at this point in time and that’s going through the same company. I’m unable to find an australian supplier of LA Pumps, seems all the shit they sell here is plastic.

:faint: Oh well, maybe pumping isn’t meant to be.

Tossed Salad, I can’t believe that there aren’t automotive parts/supplies stores there that sell vacuum pumps. Buy the pump at one of those. Buy just the cylinder and the male fitting from LAPump (or VacuTech, or Boston Pump, or PumpToys).

And if I were you, I would not go through the same company that you just had a bad experience with, unless they offer you a deal to make it up to you. If they wanted to credit you the purchase price on your first purchase toward an LAPump and male fitting from them, that might be worth considering.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

I’m sure there are, I just haven’t looked. Yet. :)

I’d still be looking at close to $200 and if I have to get it shipped from the US or EU I’d be paying around $30-50 in Tax, Postage and Handling, more again if I want it to get here faster then 10 days and not to mention the AUS dollar is pretty poor so I’d also be looking at increased cost just because of that.

I’ve received word back from them and they’re sending a replacement pump with a parcel bag for me to send the broken item back, no charge. Even if they credited this purchase towards an LA Pump style cylinder and coupling I’d still have to put another $70-80 on top of that plus the bit extra for a pump from an automotive supply store.

I should receive the pump tomorrow by midday and if it still doesn’t work to my liking I’ll check out the auto stores and perhaps look into making my own cylinder.

We’ll see how it goes and play it by ear.

If any TP members know of any Australian distributors that stock LA Pump, VacuTech, Boston Pump or PumpToys I’d love to hear from you. :)

I bought a Boston Pump and it didn’t work. I have an entire thread here explaining the entire process I went through. There was clearly a crack underneath the female coupler and their customer service is…poor. After a lot of Frankestein type reconstruction I managed to get it to hold pressure for a few minutes before it would leak. I bought an LA Pump, shipped fairly fast, opened the package, slipped on some lube, placed my semi erect penis inside the tube and began pumping. Presto! Houston we have pressure. It work like a charm, no problems. You are really getting your moneys worth with that company. Think about it, you are investing not in the pump but in your penis size and health, why compromise.

I do 3x10 minutes at 3Hg.

Breathe

Very good poing Bugs. But I’m not sure LA Pumps ship overseas though I’m not 100% sure. I could be wrong.

Tossed: I live in Australia too. You may try getting a simple Jim Diamond pump off ebay from the USA pretty cheap or try Boston pumps as they both ship worldwide and take PayPal. Boston Pumps only ship to the billing address and are better quality (from what I hear).

You could also try the Toolshed locally but it already looks like you got one similar to the $99 that cracked. If it was them send it back and get your money back or ask for an upgrade at a better price and make sure they don’t skimp on the shipping. Tell us how it goes once you’ve made you decision.

I’ve gone down the road of buying a vacuum pumps locally and they are pretty pricey. Do some research and you’ll do well. Good luck.

Another place that ships worldwide is picturebrite.com

They carry the Jim Diamond cylinders for $30.00 US.

(Bugs my Boston Pump Cylinder is excellent. Customer service is real slow though)

Funny you should say that.

Why’s that? Is that where you bought it? :) It does look like the blue one in on the website. I thought they had the pumpers interest in mind. They are pretty freaky.

LA Pumps ships everywhere. If there is a country that they don’t ship to it is only because of customs hassles with that particular country.
