Pumping research at the minute

Pumping research at the minute

I’m in the process of researching pumping. I’m looking for the correct equipment best and safest method, but I’m prepared to look through the forums and come to my own conclusions and idea on whats best for me and my penis.

Just a couple of questions to experienced pumpers though, with things I have read in mind:

1. I’ve read that once focusing on girth exercises (which I associate pumping with) will this hinder any potential length gains? I really dont fancy clamping, so pumping is the option for me, but I dont want to stop my length potentials by stating pumping

2. I’ve read that pumping, although increasing girth can primarily be the tissue becoming thicker, giving the effect of a softer erection (if that makes sense) i.e. good erection quality but spongy to the touch. To me in a sexual context this is not desirable. From peoples own experiences to what extent is this?

3. I have had a varicocele, but have had an operation to tie of the viens causing the discomfort and lump at the the top of my testicle (bag of worms) I am very cautious of the effects clamping, pumping and PE in general to a certain extent would effect this condition (which is a lot more common than people first think). I understand it is a different blod supply to the testicles than the penis. Someone has already said as long as I dont clamp behind the testicles everything should be ok. Do people think pumping is safe enough with a varicocele or history of a varicocele?
I’m gathering information at the minute about the procedure I have had, info from other threads and my personal experience to create an informative varicocele thread.

Any info is much appreciated, Meet and Two Veg

This is not correct.

- you may get temporary lymph fluid build up in your penis while you pump. That is spongy to the touch.

- however when the fluid goes away, the spongyness goes away.

I do not get much fluid build up when I pump, it goes away in several hours.

Pumping is a much gentler exercise than clamping, in my experience. I clamped for about a week, it is not for me.

1. I don’t know if there is a definitive answer to the eternal question “do girth gains hinder length gains?” I do think pumping is generally more about girth than length.

2. Pumping, done right, will give you better, stronger and harder erections. Spongy erections are generally the result of overpumping, but those aren’t permanent. You won’t wind up with a big dick that has a permanently spongy consistency.

3. Pumping is safe enough with a varicocele, or history of a varicocele. Make sure your cylinder is sized correctly, and be careful about not letting your scrotum and testes get drawn into the cylinder. But then, that’s good advice for someone who has never had a varicocele as well.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.
