Round or Elliptical Cylinder for Pumping

How often do you try this routine?

I’ve tried it once and did not fill as much of the cylinder as I would at 4-5” hg. It was noticeably more intense and pleasurable. I’ll have to play with this more next time.

Perfect time to read this thread as the doorbell just rang and my LA pump just arrived. No idea yet if it’s round or elliptical but I can’t wait to try the low pressure set. I tried pumping about 10 years ago with a crappy fireman’s pump. It was plastic and had a rubber opening that was too wide for my base. I was probably 4.5 girth back then. I know it worked because my girlfriend at the time asked if my penis was getting bigger. I don’t remember length measurement. I had no gauge and pumped until I couldn’t take no more! My pumping career came to a screeching halt when my testicle was sucked into the tube. It freaked me out and I thought I damaged it. I never pumped again. I also developed a small tender nodule on the shaft that went away eventually. I’ve been doing the other PE for the last 6 months now and will try pumping again.

Pretty much every time I pump. For what it is worth, I also use another gprent tip when I pump. He suggested to someone to try doing 20 kegels, followed by 20 tube milks. Rinse and repeat. This seems to help with expansion too. I don’t do it for the whole session, but I do spend some time each session doing that.

Got my LA pump last night and had my first session. I got the 9 x 1.75 cylinder. It turned out to be round in shape. Much better than my cheap pump from 10 years ago. I did 15 minutes at 4. Wow I have to hold myself back with this thing. I want to just pump away as I see my penis expanding but I forced myself to keep to the low pressure. My short term goal is 7 inches EBP and I am at 6.8. I know I could hit 7 in the tube now but only at higher pressure and I don’t want to damage my unit. Is it ever ok to hit a slightly higher pump pressure if you are tring to max out and hit a length goal? Kind of like when you max out on bench pressing at the gym with 1 rep. Maybe going to 6 or 7 on pressure for 10 seconds?

CONGRATS on getting your gear in!!!

It is easy to get overexcited and overdo it the first couple times!

Be sure to follow avocet8’s guide on working up the amount of time you spend in the cylinder:

Vacuum Pumping 101

I decided to go with a round cylinder. Just placed an order. Figured that since it will be my first time pumping that I might as well go with the basic pump, and then maybe in the future go with a different pump such as the elliptical.

Just got my round cylinder pump. Have to say that it certainly a weird feeling pumping. I did it hours ago and I feel like I could cum from the slightest touch to penis. I thought pumping is suppose to make you last longer?

I noticed a similar situation with me as well. I became much more sexually aroused and found it much easier to cum. I went from the 30-35 minute man to the 5-8 minute man if I was lucky.

Starting BPEL: 5.6-5.75 Starting MSEG: 4.1 to 4.3

I tried this, but it is not effective for me using an elliptical tube. To fill the tube sideways, takes time and resetting the pressure constantly hampers this activity. I could only get away with this pressure cycling at the end of the week of regular 25-30 straight pumping for mult sets for a few days. Maybe with a regular tube, but I don’t have one atm. In fact I recently bought a bigger elliptical tube to "step up" to after I am at a stage where I am filling the 1 & 1/2, I will try the new 1 3/4 I got. Can’t start out with it un-pumped, it will just pull my sack into the tube alone the sides of the shaft, so haven’t tried it yet. Hopefully soon I’ll have time to. Kinda interested to see if it’s possible.

I didn’t have a regular daily pumping schedule last week, but maybe next week I can try. When beginning anew after a few days of non-pumping it will at least take 2 x 30min sessions to fill the 1 & 1/2 elliptical sideways ( meaning the longer/wider part of the elliptical is left-right ; horizontal ), at the end of the week, 1 session is enough.

He does an experiment of set time and pressure cycling that you might find interesting.

Is there a difference between the elliptical tubes from LA Pumps vs. Vacu-tech?

Yes, the shape of the ellipse is different and the LA Pumps tube has a flange at the base. You could have answered your own question by just going to those sites and looking at the pics. :)

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I know based on appearance they are different. I meant would the user have a different response/experience b/c of the differences you stated.

I don’t own an elliptical, but all of my tubes do have a flange at the base and that does make them comfortable and a large sealing area. I think the argument for no flange is that the tube presses bone deep to expose your full length. If you end up loving pumping as much as I do, you will probably be investing in several tube types over the years.

Just try to pick the tube that you think best fits the shape of your cock near the base, either round or elliptical.

I’m long time older pumper (50+) and have made good gains both in length - from about 5.75 to 7" BPEL and girth - from 5" to about 7" at the base and less in the shaft - about 6".
I now have a penis shaped more like the Eiffel tower than Nelson’s column!
Before doing this I guessed that this would please a woman best as it keeps getting thicker as it goes in.
My lover agrees - at least the pink glow on her cheeks and widening eyes every time does!

How did I achieve this? Mostly pumping with larger round cylinders - 2.75" and 3" - taking cock and balls deep in after pumping in my normal starter - a Colt tapered 2" cylinder.
Not for the ball expansion but to thicken the deep base of the penis - it has wonderfully - and seems permanent.
Why did I do this? My theory was based on the Gray’s anatomy diagram of the penis - see http://en.wikip edia.org/wiki/C … avernosum_penis .
I figured that about a third of the penis is "inside" the body and could be helped to grow out a bit more. It certainly does!
Just be prepared to have a lot more pubic hair on the base of the penis to trim! As it comes along with the increases in the Corpus Cavernosum size.

Now to the reason for this post:
I have noticed that Lap Dist and Vacutech both have excellent sounding oval cylinders although the LA is about $50 cheaper.

Apart from the flange question the dimensions are quite different.
The first dimension is shortest: Vacutech 1.5x2", 1.75x2.25", 2x2.5";
LA 1.5x1.75", 1.75"x2", 2x2.25"
That is 0.5" difference for Vacutech and 0.25" for LA.

I have the 1.75” & 2” Lap Dist ones - bought in LA on my last ski holiday early this year - but it takes me about 30-45 minutes to completely fill the 1.75"x2.
The base of the penis fills immediately - the last 3-4" takes much more time.

So I want to order a smaller one - one of the 1.5".
Any thoughts on the difference in the ellipse shape and which would be more effective for length and width gains?

Starting 5.9" x 5.0 (BPEL x G) .. Current 7.0" x 6.0

Goal 7.5" x 6.5"

I have a 1.5 x 1.75 LAPump cylinder. I can fill 3/4 of it and I have a much smaller unit than you have (about 5.25mg when fully pumped). I believe you would have a problem pulling in more than 50% of your flaccid shaft. At that point you would experience severe pain as the vacuum increases past 2 - 3 hg. and your shaft expanded to fully pack the tube. Perhaps the 1.5 x 2 from Vacutech will work.

It seems to me you are in the correct size now and should be able to fully pack it within six months.
