Selecting Your Cylinder Size

The problem I have run into with my VED is although the tube itself is a 2.25 inches in diameter, the rubber seal has an inside diameter of just 1.75 inches. Pretty annoying. I think I’ll have to make my own seal somehow. Just wanted to tell people that if it comes with a rubber seal you need to find out the inside diameter of that also.

Your cock does’t care how long the tube is as long as it doesn’t hit the end cap. The length of the tube really has no influence on girth.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

For your next cylinder purchase you want to avoid tube that comes with those rubber booties. Professional cylinders are made from thicker walled plastic and don’t require rubber booties to make a seal. So the thing to do, is avoid purchasing tubes with rubber booties in the first place. It just shows them to be cheaply made.

Actually this thing is a top of the line medical grade VED.

Or so they say. Buying medical grade only means one thing. You are being way over charged and usually the quality is not so good.

Post a link to the system you bought.

I am part of a Peyronie’s forum, and this is the one everyone swears by. Also the one most Peyronie’s specialists recommend. I did pretty extensive research to get the best one.

Well, all I can say it may be the best of the worst, but it falls way short of what is available from professional vacuum pump manufacturers. You have already said the rubber booty is inadequate and I know it will deteriorate and wear out fast. That is also true of the battery powered vacuum pump, it will not last long. How do I know? I made the same mistake when I got started.

Professional pump makers include Lapdist, Vacutech and Pumptoys. When your pump breaks down, I would look into them.

Bear in mind it was purchased to treat Peyronie’s disease, not to enlarge my penis. The three cylinder 26 week protocol has been an absolute lifesaver for me with regards to regaining erectile function and minimizing curvature. Should have mentioned that VED was with 3 cylinders of varying width, so on alternate weeks can work at straightening etc.

I’ll definitely bear those manufacturer names in mind, although I know more than a few people who have been using this pump for over 5 years without a hiccup. The rubber sizing insert is a bit annoying now that I have increased in girth, so I am going to simply use the tube without it.

Having had a look at those manufacturers, I can see why they would be a better choice now that I have pretty much beaten the Peyronie’s disease. Vacutech is sexy but more expensive than the one I already have.

Hm … On last measure I have 5.6” MEG and 6.3” BEG.I want length, what width of cylinder I choose?

Starting measures (1/1/2008): BPFL 4.50'', FG 4.50'', BPEL 6.25'', EG 5.25'' and so on .. :)

```````````````` 01/27/2009 : BPFL 5.70'', FG 5.10'', BPEL 6.90'', EG 5.60''
Whoops, sorry for the delayed response. If you haven’t already made your purchase, you should go for a 9”X2” cylinder.
I just pumped for the first time. My midshaft EG is just over 5.5 (BPEL is a bout 7.5) and I used a 10x2 inch cylinder I converted from a gravel cleaner. It was great and I got a rock hard erection afterwards. The only thing I noticed is that my glans (which is huge compared to the shaft) seems to almost form a seal around the cylinder. I don’t think it’s completely airtight, as the notch at the bottom of the glans doesn’t seem packed tight to the side of the cylinder, but everywhere around the glans to that notch is pressed firmly against the cylinder. I only appear to pack about an inch at the base of the cylinder, and it’s not a very tight fit. The glans started to get purplish, but not blackish while it was expanded in the cylinder. Is there any problem with using this cylinder with my big glans, or should I move up to a 2.25 already?
You could probably go ahead and buy a 2.25” and it would be best to use it in conjunction with your 2”. You would start your pumping session with your 2” and once you reach the point where you get the base and head expansion you describe, you switch over to the 2.25” and continue with your routine.
Wow thanks for the fast reply. Unfortunately I’ll have to make a pretty big investment to get a new cylinder, because I doubt I’ll be able to find a 2.25 gravel cleaner. I’m pumping mostly for EQ (I do stretching and jelqs for size increases), do you think the 2.0 that my glans pretty much fills will suffice for that?
I ordered a boston pump and I bought the 1.5 cylinder because I consider my girth to be small but to my surprise my erection will not fit in there at all so I guess I don’t have the smallest girth as I taught Thad’s a cylinder down the drain.I’m going to order cylinder 2 I never measure my penis because I’m always disappointed I taught I was about 4 inches erect but I’m at 5.125 after I measured today.Somebody would say that is a decent size but every girl I been with say I have a small girth so when I look down I also notice how skinny it is.Maybe it’s because I have huge legs that makes it look small when I look down.Maybe if I was skinny it would look huge.I’m at 6 inches in length so I’m about 6 x 5 you can say.I use to pe gained a inch in girth and length didn’t cement my gains and now I’m back on the newbie routine for about a month and a half.Jelqs never worked for me so that’s y I bought this pump and it doesn’t fit.I’m happy I’m not in the smaller end but I’m sad I’m out 60 bucks
