Some Help Sizing LA Pump Elliptical. ?

My erect measurements:

8 inch erect long
6 1/8Th inch erect girth
1 3/4er inch SHORT Side Diameter
2 1/4er inch LONG Side Diameter.

Should I get the 2 inch SHORT Side elliptical ? 11 inch long tube ?

That would give me roughly 1/4er inch room on the short side, 1/4er inch room on the long side, and 3 inches of length room ?

Or should I go for a bigger cylinder ?

First time pumping. Totally new. 6 to 8 months of the newbie program complete, just warm sock wrap and 10 mins stretch. Good positive indicators.

LA admits some customers aren’t happy with the shape of the tube they receive. Their sizing system has some room for ambiguity.

I’d cut out a piece of thin cardboard into the shape of my shaft at the widest point. You’d need to do a top half and a bottom half, or a left and right half, to scissor is slowly into the correct shape. Then I’d tape the two pieces together and mail them to LA in an envelope.

Then they’d have a pattern to match a tube to. I think your chance of getting a properly-fitting tube would be better that way than by using their measuring instructions.

I have that pump. I enjoy it and we are similar in size but my girth is more like 5” 5/8. If you check out my thread I posted some pics with it. Almost impossible to fill. In the beginning I while soft I pumped my whole package in there. This also depends on the size of your balls. Good luck

Post #387 there is a picture for reference. I came out of that pump over 6.5”mid shaft. My base over 7” so depending on your adaption to pumping this will tell you your limits. Some people have great elasticity and recovery. You have to find your sweet spot.

I decided to buy the 2” Short Side, Elliptical. This should give me about 1/4” room on both the Short and Long side.

If it’s too big, I’ll buy the next size down. If it’s too small, I’ll buy the next size up.

Should be fine. I’m definitely not 7 inches girth circumference yet.

I will also buy the cock ring for my ED + silicone sleeve.

Was this Universal Pump Sleeve, the one you recommend ?

The elliptical cylinders are a little tricky. When I first got one, my round cylinder was 1.75”, base girth was 5.5”. I regularly packed that cylinder 2/3rds of the way up.

So I got a 1.75” elliptical and I could never get a good seal on it. So I saved up and got a 1.5”, that worked much much better.

I kept the 1.75” because I think I’ll eventually grow into it.

Just a heads up, you may find you need to reduce the regular amount of pressure you use when you go from the round to elliptical cylinder. I am not good at physics so I cant explain why but the same pressures feel higher in an elliptical than they do in a round cylinder.

I use a 1.75” round and am damn near complete packing it.

Purchased the 1.75” elliptical and am happy with it. Could probably use one size smaller too and would fill it quicker.

Elliptical cylinder arrived in the mail a few weeks ago! Size looks good while erect. About 1/4’er inch gap on all sides when inserted erect.

Which MityVav pump to buy? 8000? 8010? 8020? I’m in Canada so HarborFreight is not an option, unfortunately.

I’m looking at the Amazon. Ca pumps. Seems there’s a basic divide between the plastic pumps, and metal pumps, generally. Most of the plastic pumps look identical, with different branding.

My neighbor is a mechanic, and recommended a MityVac pump. Seems they are only in metal on Amazon. Would this be okay?

It’ll work fine. Just make sure it has a gauge.
