Tips to speed up length gains when you're a pumper

Come on guys, just post what worked best for you! I know some of us achieve lenght gains easier than others, and some get girth results first, but is there really anything that you would do to target lenght? I feel like, since I started pumping, my lenght has reached a plateau, and my girth doesn’t stop growing.

Any of you have had the same problem?

Well, I’ve followed avocet’s schedule, as mentioned on his fantastic thread, and after some months, I’m doing a routine like this:

5 min hot wrap (warm up)
Stretches (30 seconds UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/OUT) 2 times
100 jelqs
1 set of 20 min (3-4 hg)
50 jelqs
1 set of 20 min (3-4 hg)
50 jelqs
1 set of 20 min (3-4 hg)
50 jelqs
5 min hot wrap (warm down)

This is what I’m doing right now. I’ve tried different sets, different times. I just feel like I get a better expansion this way, but I’m probably trying something else in the future. Anyway, since I started pumping, in June, I really didn’t get any measurable lenght gains, and I’m afraid that’s because of the girth I’m getting. What should I do?

Thanks for your scheduling details. What would be helpful to know, since you want length more than girth, is what sized diameter cylinder you’re using and what kinds of vacuum pressure. I got my best length gains when I was a newbie and started out with my smaller 1.75” diam. cylinder , packed it, and gradually worked up to my 2.00” cylinder etc. Although I had bought other larger size diameter cylinders to play around with which allowed me to get greater “girth” expansion, it was using the 1.75” and 2.00” cylinders which gave me the best length stretch and my permanent length gains. Even now, when I want to really stretch out my dick with pumping, I’ll lube up my shaft generously and use my 2.0” cylinder. I’ll start out keeping the pressure in the 5” hg or less range but occasionally let it spike to 7” hg or so to really elongate my dick to the max.

I feel my penis is being stretched, but mostly girthwise, even though if I get a good erection inside the tube, I can see some difference in lenght too. Anyway, I feel like asking what was your secret, but I guess you must have been asked that question millions of times. Guys like you, avocet, gprent and lampwick, and a few others, are such an inspiration to me, I just hope I can make some decent gains, just like you. I’m on my 20’s, so I think that it will be possible.

A few questions: did you stretch, jelq, etc? Was your routine similar to mine?

And should I worry about my girth (and almost non-existing length) gains? Do you think that packing the tube, girthwise, will then help with my lenght gains?

The most common theory on this is that if you seek length gains via pumping, select a tube that is not greatly larger than your erect girth. Over time, you will pack the tube and after that, the vacuum force will promote length gains, as further girth expansion is no longer possible.

I take it from what you have written that you are not yet packing the tube girthwise?

Your routine looks solid. My experience is that, over time, I pack the cylinder earlier in the session than I did when I started, so it is not necessarily the case that you will need to add session duration or any more vacuum to achieve packing the tube.

My routine was similar to yours. I incorporated more jelqing than stretching in between pump sessions. Don’t worry about your girth gains. There isn’t an exact science to making permanent gains. In my case, I gained both length and girth gains at the same pace. A gain is a good thing in either dimension.

At the moment, I’m not even close to pack the tube! Well, I pack it at the base, but I think that it happens to all the pumpers. There is still a lot of room for expansion.

To be honest, I was afraid with the possibility of the length gains being affected (or even non-existing) because of the girth gains. I’ve always heard that one should focus on lenght first, because a thicker penis is a lot harder to stretch. That’s exactly what I was thinking, and I’m still very far from my length goal (7 inches).

So, do you suggest me to cut the time of the sessions, as soon as I start packing the tube earlier?

I’ve started high pressure pumping (increasing step by steb up to 20 ” Hg) in a tight tube.

Problem with high pressure is the doughnut effect.

To avoid that I am using a tight wrap just below the glans.

My length at 5” Hg equals approximately my bpel.

My length expansion between 5 and 20” is about 1 cm above my bpel.

My gains are due to longterm commitment and dedication to PE. I experimented with various forms of PE, but in the longterm I’ve relied predominantly on pumping first and jelqing second, and my gains are mostly a result of pumping. I never liked stretching much and was inconsistent at best with using it. I like clamping every now and then, but that works mostly girth. Hanging has never been a major part of my PE routine. I don’t think you should change your basic routine just yet,but I recommend every now and then that you PE differently in some way to keep your dick guessing as to what’s coming next. Just like repeating the same weight routine in the gym can result in stagnation, I think the same holds true for PE’ing. My routine today is 95% pumping with jelqing thrown in now and then for increased circulation in between pump sessions.

20”hg is extremely high. Even at my riskiest experimentation with vacuum pressure spikes for brief periods of time, I would never go above 10”hg. When I do this I get an additional length strength of about .25 inches. NEWBIES: DO NOT USE HIGH VACUUM UNTIL YOU ARE VERY EXPERIENCED AND KNOW WHAT KIND OF STRESSES YOUR DICK CAN HANDLE. RISK OF WATER BLISTERS ON THE GLANS BECOMES HIGHER, ESPECIALLY AS THE LOWER PART OF YOUR SHAFT STARTS PACKING AND MOST OF THE PRESSURE IS CONCENTRATED ON THE GLANS.

I agree with peforreal that “spiking” the pressure for very brief stints is an effective way to tease the cock out a little longer while in the tube. Then, when you return to normal pressures, you’ll find yourself at a slightly longer length than you would have likely reached without these “spikes”. I’m in the same range, pumping at 4-5Hg and spiking at around 7Hg.

What he said regarding pumping at extreme pressures. It just aint worth it. If you can get safer growth at lower Hg then why risk it. Shit, it's your dick- fuck risking it at ALL!!!

That’s fine to be packing the tube at the base. Over time, you will pack more and more of the tube without changing your routine.

No. Exactly the opposite. As long as you don’t mind girth gains, stay with your current routine and cylinder size. Over time, you should start packing the tube earlier and earlier in your session. It is then that your primary gains should be length, as force (vacuum) is still being applied to your penis, and when you’ve packed the cylinder, your penis has nowhere to go but longer.

Thank you for clarifying for the newbies, - I forgot, I hope newbies didn’t try.

My glans is used to high vacuum since I am hanging daily 30 minutes at 15 inches Hg. I have not experienced blisters since I have been trying high vacuum pumping with spikes up to 20 inches Hg (I had a blood blister long ago when I started vacuum hanging at much higher weights than now (now: about 12 pounds).

Anyhow, - my maximal length in the cylinder is now at 20 cm, so it’s going well. There is a little (my gf thinks quite dramatic) discoloration after high pressure pumping, but so far it’s more or less reversible. Anyhow - I don’t care so much about the colour of my dick (I told her that her pussy is blind - she replied: “das auge isst mit’, a german proverb indicating that the visual appearance of food is important, too, translated word by word something like “the eye eats along) - don’t know if there is a more idiomatic correspondence in english, the conversation was funny in any case).
