Honestly I don’t. I just focus on progression. Visually maintaining position in the cradle based on the noose holes and gradually increasing the load/half turns, till we’re at a maxed out length in the extender.

Well I’m glad I didn’t push it. We did get the duration but I would not say it was easy. It was a good week in terms of duration, and we are starting the sessions well forward in the cradle. Just need to be disciplined and move up slowly as we maintain the duration of the sessions.

Since we’ve been struggling with the attachment tissues being beat up I decided to keep the tension low today get the duration and give the tissues a chance to recover by Sunday. So everything went great today. My theory was that a trace amount of silicone lube had found itself on the noose and was causing the slippage. I’m thinking that was it, because I overslept today and being pressed for time I increased the rate of tension increases and that was tolerated well. The noose held firmly giving the tissues a chance to relax into the stretch. I think we’ll know for sure in the days to come.
