How does my routine look?
Hi everyone, I made a post last month on the 20Th I think, basically going over my current progress and routine and how I my routines have changed over the years, but I forgot to ask about my current routine if it sounded like a good routine. I am currently only working on length so I am only doing stretches and jelqs I will worry about girth later on, but any how here is my current routine.
I do this routine 5 days a week Monday-Friday with two rest days on the weekend.
Warmup: 5-10 minutes with a hot rice sock, I do this before my stretches then when I am finished with stretching I will go into the shower to do my jelqs I will warm up again with the hot water for 5 minutes, if I can absolutely not warm up before my stretches with some type of heat I mean if I don’t have the time then I will not warm up with heat I’ll just jump into my stretches being cautious not to cause injury, if I can’t take a shower I will just use the rice sock again to warmup then use some type of oil/lube and do my jelqs on the toilet.
Stretches: I do 5 different stretches for 3-4 sets each, 1 minute for each stretch. If you are unfamiliar with what I mean by set’s, I basically just mean I’ll do all 5 of these stretches one after another then I’ll repeat the process 3-4 times.
1st stretch: Basic/Manuel stretch in all directions for 1 minute in each direction
2Nd stretch: A stretch for 1 minute
3rd stretch: V stretch for 1 minute
4Th stretch: Double stretch for 1 minute
5Th stretch: Internal stretch for 1 minute
Jelqs: I’ll warm up with hot water for 5 minutes then I’ll do the basic stretch, A stretch, double stretch and some times I will add in a double rotation stretch, then I do 100-110 jelqs
So how does my routine look I mean will these stretches benefit me for gaining length? If so I plan to do them for 6-8 months and maybe even a year.
Also should I bump up my stretch time for the basic/Manuel stretch to 5 minutes in each direction, because I have read a lot of other posts about guy’s who have done that and gained a lot quicker/better and I know I could handle the intensity I am certainly conditioned for it?
Should I switch hands when I do my stretches, for example 1st set A stretch with right hand 2Nd set A stretch with the left hand?
