So I made it through all 59 pages of Xeno’s thread. As I started out as a deformity through constant stress guy instead of a wound healing model guy I found it fascinating reading. However X is on hiatus it seems.

My question is about how long should my decon period by as I start my first IPR cycle? I’ve been clamping for at least five months, 5 on 2. According to IPR I’m well do for a 2-3 month decon.

However since I haven’t experienced gains in over a year to 18 months I’m wondering if I’ve actually hit enough of an I response to warrant the decon or if I should do 10-12 days of the multi clamp routine first then go into the decon?

IRP vet input appreciated.

I would take the break right away since you’ve been so long in I-phase. At this point that takes priority over any benefit you might get from doing a more intense I-phase routine for a couple weeks.

I agree with B.D. here. Your unit is bound to be pretty tough at this point.

Additionally no theory I know of would advise continued action on a plateau. All of it, sans truly hardcore hanging, would suggest a good, long break before giving a new approach a try.

Okay, I recognize your names from the X thread 😀 (which ironically I found by reading the hypoxia double clamp thread because I’d hit my wall lol) so I’m going to decon.

It seemed toward the end of the thread Xeno was maybe edging back from 3 months toward 2? Or was I misreading things?

I’m going to guess two months is enough, but three is even better. Especially if you’ve conditioned your penis tissue over a period of a year to a year and a half. It’s tough to take an extended break like that, but the end result is a unit that will be more responsive to growth inducing exercises. Different folks are bound to have a somewhat different restorative time period. So, there’s no one answer, but the longer window is really just an extra four weeks, which is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Yep, anywhere from 1-4 months is good. All depends on how far you want to let the remodeling phase go. The longer you rest, the easier or more likely gains will be when you start up. Shorter rest period makes the full IPR cycle faster. So it’s a balance between those things.
