Today’s Intake:
300g ribeye steak
500g steak mince
Caffeine: None
The past couple of days were similar to what I ate the previous days. No caffeine of course.
Today marks the beginning of my commitment to the "Lion diet".
Popularised by Mikhaila Peterson, it’s a super strict form of elimination diet and a branch of the "Carnivore diet".
You are limited to ruminant animal meat (cow, deer, lamb, goat etc), water and salt (I cannot wait for my salt flakes to arrive).
I will start with beef for the first month and introduce lamb or deer and see how I react.
As for organs, I will introduce them back eventually. I am getting a meat grinder to mix ox heart into my burgers for more nutrient density. Liver I will always eat raw.
Many have had success clearing health issues, including eczema and other skin issues on the Lion and Carnivore diet. The names are a bit cringe but hey.
Also I have pretty noticeable dark circles under my eyes. Dr Berg on YouTube mentioned a good way to reduce this amongst other things is to cut carbs out. Something to do with insulin. So two birds with one stone!
I don’t plan to stay in ketosis forever, and will eventually introduce foods back from Paul Saladino’s "Animal-Based Diet".

Started applying a small amount of high-concentration vitamin E oil to my glans. Supposed to help with skin health.
Today was a bit tough, considering it was my first day ever without any sugar, but I know it’ll get easier until it’s the new norm.
