I noticed that when I am healed fully I have to fight off getting semi erect during the stretching phase. It is annoying but a clear sign that it is ready to go. When it comes to the point where it is difficult to get a standing erection post workout I will take days off but most likely try to keep it at 3 days a week.
After all my time browsing pe forums it seems like the guys who were inconsistent in the sense of averaging 3 to 4 days a week always gained an inch. Rarely have I read a post from that frequency who did not gain but read many that did 5 to 6 days and gained nothing after 6+ months. In my case rest more important than the workout. I gained 2 weeks in a row when I switched to taking 4 rest days per week. That is why I like to measure weekly to experiment before I start going long stretches without measuring to see what works.
Also another note it seemed like after every stretch it kept it’s lengthened state. I will know this in the future if my PIs drop.
