My Progress

I think it would be best to stick to my current routine which is light enough to do every other day or maybe 3 times per week. The 1 on 3 off was killing my eq with the 20 stretches. I guess after 2 sessions at that volume it starts to accumulate fatigue and require even more rest. I will stick to 17 stretches for about a month and see how it goes.

7-20-16: BP: 7.63 NBP 6.75 x 5.75

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

Routine today was

17x30 stretches
30 dry jelqs

EQ has improved again. I think I slowly over the weeks started pulling a tad bit firmer than usual which caused the eq loss. I usually pull just enough to reach max length and once it stops I just hold it there with no extra force. I started using a little bit of extra force on my stretches and I think that may have caused the slight eq loss over the past couple weeks. I will pay attention and see if it stays consistent.

7-20-16: BP: 7.63 NBP 6.75 x 5.75

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

Today’s workout:

17x30 sec stretches
30 dry jelqs

Standing eq was good afterward. I’ll be sure not to add any extra force to my stretches in the future. If anything I will just add more stretches and not try to save time by increasing the intensity of them. Light pulls seem to work best for me. I can even have sex with the routine now on the same day. EQ has been great for the past week.

7-20-16: BP: 7.63 NBP 6.75 x 5.75

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

Today’s workout:

16x30 stretches
30 dry jelqs

Took extra time to rest from my last workout because i needed it. I haven’t measured in a while because my work schedule this week got me on 1st shift so it doesn’t give me much time alone other than to stealth pe. There is always time for that. But I will measure next week. EQ is looking good. I lightened my routine by 1 stretch.

7-20-16: BP: 7.63 NBP 6.75 x 5.75

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

Same workout today.

16x30 stretches
30 dry jelqs

I got a quick measurement in before the session and I reached 8.31bp. Not my official measurement though I will take one next week maybe when my schedule is back to normal. EQ is doing great.

7-20-16: BP: 7.63 NBP 6.75 x 5.75

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

Taking an extra rest day. EQ not up to par. I expect after about 3-5 workouts to take an extra day due to the building up of fatigue from those sessions so it’s not a bad thing.

I can’t find my ruler someone has taken it. Either my wife or my toddler. I’m not going to ask if she has seen it because I’m sure she has her own. So I will just go about my days and if I don’t find it by the 19th I will buy another one for my 6 month date. Now I have an excuse not to measure. I actually seen a see through ruler at the store I wanted to get to use for measuring but I didn’t want it to seem like I cheated my gains using 2 different rulers in the before and after photos. I guess I will buy the same kind and color that I had before to keep that out of the equation.

Quick back story: I used to work as a manager of inspectors at a very large manufacturing plant. One of my employees suggested we get rulers to measure some of the parts with large tolerances as rulers are very inexpensive and easy to use. So I went to an office supply store and grabbed 10 cheap plastics see through rulers for about $10 and I proceeded to check them all against a highly accurate standard as well as using a highly accurate vision measurement machine.
The largest difference from ruler to ruler at any point was right about 1/32” worst case. Most rulers only go down to 1/16” so this really isn’t a concern as far as accuracy goes.
There was one big difference though and that was the distance from the edge of the ruler to where the 0” indicating line started. This was as much as 1/8” worst case.
So my recommendation, use whatever ruler you would like, just make sure to account for the distance from the edge of the ruler to the 0” mark. This can be done by using a tape measure or something like that to measure from the edge of the ruler to its 0” mark, then just add that distance to your bone pressed measurement and *tada* you have an accurate measurement.

I think for my sanity I will just buy the same kind of ruler. Thanks for clearing that up. The 1/8” of deadspace got me worried if it can vary with different ruler kinds. I always just kept the deadspace counted in even though it makes my measurements a little shorter. I may come across the ruler though so who knows.

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

Done two workouts since my last post both same routine. I am sticking with the routine until I feel like I need to add a stretch. Not pushing for a certain time to increase it.

16x30 stretches
30 dry jelqs

Still no ruler. Without a ruler it is easy to not get the urge to measure. Maybe I’ll buy and throw away the ruler every month or two lol I will buy one on the 18th or 19th though at my 6 months mark. I’m not looking for the lost one.

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

I took 3 days off because I felt that slight fatigue and waited for positive PIs to return which is good standing eq. Did my routine today.

16x30 stretches
30 dry jelqs

This routine is still effective so far so I won’t add any stretches. If or when it gets to a point where I can go an entire month without needing extra rest days that is when I will increase it.

7-20-16: BP: 7.63 NBP 6.75 x 5.75

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

Did my routine today. Took Friday Saturday and Sunday off. Still same routine.

16x30 stretches
30 dry jelqs

I bought a ruler today but haven’t measured yet. Walmart here sells like 4 or 5 different kinds which includes the same kind that I originally started with. I bought the same kind because I grabbed that one and compared it to all the other ones side by side. The one that I got again has the least amount of dead space. About 1/8 inch before the starting point. One had so much space it said “start here.” LOL Glad I chose this one the first time I would’ve definitely found myself measure slightly smaller had I bought any of the other kinds. I got a Wescott ruler.

I think I will give wet jelqs a shot. I will do them wet instead of dry and see what happens. If I do that for a month and don’t like it I will switch to horse squeezes for girth. If wet jelqs do nothing but increase eq which is always a plus I will stay with them until I reach my length goal. I just have to do away with dry jelqs because of the turtle neck that is developing. I hear wet jelqs are less intense soon if I can do more that would be a plus but I will keep the number off jelqs the same. If I feel like I need more I will slowly increase it.

I have always only done slow wet jelqs.I did try dry jelqs but they just didn’t feel right at all.

How long do your strokes last on average and how many do you currently do?

I just did a session:

16x30 stretches
30 wet jelqs

Wet jelqs felt way better to my unit. I used Vaseline. I will definitely do wet jelqs for atleast 3 months and see what happens. Each one took about 6-7 seconds. I may increase the number since they are not as hard on the unit as dry jelqs but doing them wet felt just as effective as doing them dry. In fact I think they are better in my case. It seemed easier to slow the pace of my jelq and focus on expanding the head as I moved up the shaft. I had more control and it seemed like it took longer for the plumped semi to go away after I jelqed. During the session I didn’t have to stimulate it back full after i started. Overall I see wet jelqs being better than dry for me.

The only drawbacks I see which isn’t much of a problem is that it is kind of messy. Other than that I like them.
