So I found these forums right at the end of October. Started by reading up on the basics and a bunch of newbie tip-threads from the vets (thank you for those btw). Took me a few days of lurking to actually be convinced that this might be for real, haha, but here I am, started the newbie routine last week 01/11. I figured if I’m gonna keep a log I might as well share it.

My plan is to start by following the newbie routine as strictly as possible the first 6-10 weeks, maybe adding a little edging if I have the time and feel like it. Since it’s suggest that the time per session is increased during the first 6 weeks I made a rough estimate for each session, increasing time weekly. As long as I don’t see any negative PI I’ll try to stick to that plan, doing 2 days on 1 day off with extra off days if needed.

Here is the minutes for each exercise for the first 6 weeks:
Week: Stretch / Jelq
1: 5 / 10
2: 6 / 14
3: 7 / 18
4: 8 / 22
5: 9 / 26
6: 10 / 30

Being at 14 minutes of jelqs right now I’m having a hard time imagining doing it for 30 minutes straight without being too hard on my dick. I’ll have to see if I decide to split the sessions up in two or if I’ll be satisfied with around 20 minutes. Right now 14 feels right about what I can take, unless I decrease the intensity.

I didn’t take my measurements before starting, or any pics for that matter, but I have been measuring a few times during the first week. I initially measured right after jelqing and was surprised by what the ruler said, haha, but doing it again at the end of a rest day showed right around 1 cm less which I think is what I started with. I might be keeping an eye on post-jelq size in the future as an additional PI, as the acute increase in size is the only means I have to achieve long term growth as long as I stick to manual exercises.

Week 1

Started on Tuesday. 5 min warm up, 5 min stretch, 10 min jelq, 5 min warm down, some kegels. Did 2 days on then 1 day off twice, so 4 sessions and 2 rest days.

I’ve got a good feeling for the exercises so far. I prefer the jelq over the stretch though, since the skin gets a bit irritated by the pulling. I hope it adapts over time.
The internal pressure during jelqing is insane though. The skin on the glans gets so stretched I can almost see my reflection in it, haha, but I think I have room to go easier later if needed, but I’ll let the PIs tell.

I started with a soaked sock for warm ups, but it got cold really fast and was really troublesome to manage. Decided to try a sock filled with rice instead and it’s great! Was initially thinking of buying an electric heat pad but couldn’t find anything suitable so I tried the rice sock instead, glad I did. It stays warm for 5 minutes easily, but I have to re-heat it for the warm down.
I’m also under the impression that this might be the most important part of all, at least the warm up, since what we’re doing is subjecting the tissue to stress in order to stretch it, it doesn’t take a professional athlete to know that cold tissue is much more subjective to damage than when it’s warm.

Speaking of heat I’ve also experimented with wrapping during the day. Strictly for recovery purposes I try to wrap as loosely as possible without having it fall off right away. Dunno if it helps though, but if I can keep my dick warm I think it might be worth the effort.

PIs:
+ Larger flaccid hang. Pretty much all the time.
+ Increased night/morning wood. Not positive about this one since I didn’t take to much note of it before.

- Slightly irritated foreskin. I’ve had it operated for being too tight long ago, I think that makes it more sensitive to abuse.

± Slight ache, kinda like DOMs from working out. Feels kinda good.

Welcome to TP. Your size is rather close to my starting size, and the observation of the increase in jelq time is the exact same I made when I started a while ago (over half a year now). I still only jelq for 100 strokes per session so don’t think you’re under-doing it if you don’t ramp up any further ;) . The stretching irritation should get less in time. Are you doing kegels?

I haven’t checked base girth but my guess is it’s pretty much the same as MS.
I have a few milestones I’d love to reach, but the first one is simple: make any gains injury free :)

Okay, thanks, great input! I don’t think I’ll go over 15 min until I see a lack of progress or something then.
I am doing kegels but not every time during the morning routine. I’m going to do some reading on that topic and might be convinced that I need to focus more on them though :)

A caveat for any routine. If you see gains there’s no need to ramp it up. Many see gains early and stay with the routine as is. Too much ramping up can kill what you are getting.

Do not fix what ain’t broke.

Yes, that is an important rule of thumb I believe. I figured since the newbie routine said to ramp up during the first 6 weeks to 10 min stretch and 30 min jelq.. But I think I’ll stick to around the initial 5 + 10 minutes instead and evaluate the results from there in a few weeks. Thanks :)

Week 2

More of the same this week. Increase the times slightly, so about 6 min warm up with rice sock, 6 min stretch and 12 min jelq then warm down. Often adding some edging at the end if I can spare the time. A total of 5 sessions and 2 rest days this week.

Comfortable and enjoyable sessions over all. Still slightly irritated foreskin but it hasn’t gotten notably worse and it isn’t very red when I don’t aggravate it. I bought some baby oil and started using it when jelqing which I think helps. Still using more of a “dry jelq” technique if I go by the tutorial videos though, with one hand and moving the skin, I think it works very well.

I have tried a few methods to stay warm during the day. Partially because I think there is a big advantage to heat, and partially because the weather here in Sweden is getting pretty cold. I started off with a bandage wrap but it was really hard to get it to stay on for a reasonable amount of time without wrapping it too tight and limiting circulation. Then I found a thread where someone mentioned disposable heat pads that would stay warm for around 8 hours. I bought some of those. But at the price I found here I was looking to spend around $2 each day I’d wear them, so I ordered a big pack on amazon which I hope will get here around the time I run out. I went with disposable “toe warmers” since they have adhesive on one side and are easy to keep in place.

As for gains I think it’s a bit early to get anything measurable, but I do feel a bit bigger. It is probably just temporary gains from my sessions, which makes my flaccid hang much fuller, almost like a semi, most of the time. I do think think I notice a slight difference during sex too, but that might just be increased EQ from being psyched over feeling fuller and meatier in general. Nice anyway :D

PIs:
+ Still larger flaccid hang.
+ Still very hard morning/night erections.
+ Feeling a bit bigger/harder during sex, maybe due to EQ.

- Irritated foreskin. Very minor pain so far but I’ll have to make sure it gets better rather than worse over time.

Maybe a little early for measurements but.

I decided the 3 weeks mark would be a good moment for some decent measurements and pics. That is not until Tuesday to be exact, but since it’s easier to spare the time on weekends I decided to try this morning.

Been off any PE for around 50 hours at the moment. Had sex once during that time if that is relevant, might have edged a little bit too the day before.

BPEL: 18 cm, 7”
MSEG: 14.4 cm, 5.67”

Now this seems like a bit too much in this short time span, even if I have a really good feeling about my PIs and how the routine feels, as well as feeling notably bigger. I can probably contribute almost all of it to newbie size spike and maybe better erection when measuring. But in no way could I have measured 7” before I started, so I’m happy about it :)

This happens early on. Just take it with a smile. Gains slow drastically later so…

I wasn’t expecting any notable difference in months, so this is already a pleasant surprise :) I understand I might not see much difference now in yet a few more months but I already reached my first goal so that’s fine.
I’d probably lose what I’ve gained in a very short time if I stopped too, but I don’t plan to stop so what does that matter :)

Week 3

Up to 6-7 min stretch and 12-15 min jelq this week. Still good PIs and no pain. The irritation in the foreskin has subsided and almost disappeared completely. I was afraid I’d have to go easy on it either during my routine or in the bedroom, glad to see that nought was needed and it got much better anyway, probably due to more lube when jelqing and better grip during stretches.

Bought an IR lamp last week which broke down at the end of the first session lol. Having it replaced today though and I’ll have to be careful this time :P
During the day I’m using disposable heat pads. Just got a delivery of 40 pairs from amazon at a decent price, and since I only use one at a time and they are both sealed separately it should last me a while.

As I posted yesterday in this thread I’ve already had some newbie gains so I’ll stay at this pace for a while, only slightly increasing the time for each session, I’ll not go over 7 min stretch + 15 min jelq for now though which is pretty much what I’ve done the last week. I’m also changing up my on-off day schedule a bit to make it align better with the calendar week. 2 on 1 off made the rest days occur on different week days all the time which I dislike, and I really don’t like to have to lock myself in the bathroom for half an hour on weekends right after having breakfast together with my girlfriend. The new schedule is rest days Wednesday and Saturday and Sunday, which should mean 2/3 of a session less each week which shouldn’t matter. A double rest day each weekend is probably more good than harm too.

Also had a slightly positive comment from my girlfriend when we were having a shower together earlier. She grabbed me with her hand and said something along the lines of “It’s heavy, haha”. Now I can’t say that she wouldn’t have said the same thing before I started PE, and she didn’t say “heavier”, but I think it’s notably heavier myself so I’d guess she felt a difference too, hence the comment :D

Measured BPEL today post workout to see if I still have a slight increase in size from stretching and jelqing like I’ve seen earlier. Reached 18.5 cm (7.28”) pretty easily, which shows the same trend as before. Again, this doesn’t really say much but I still like to keep track of these things. I’ve never minded measuring my progress, I usually weigh myself 1-2 times a day and measure my upper arms or thighs every now and then to track my physical development. But I’ll try not to go overboard with it.

PIs:
+ The usual, larger flaccid and good morning/night wood.
+ Still measurably bigger in length and girth after a rest day.

± Foreskin irritation as good as gone.
