I’ve been following the newbie routine religiously since the beginning or Feb. It may sound silly but I’m scared to remeasure in case if not made any gains. I know it can take months and months for some but I’m really worried I’ll be put off. I don’t notice any differences and really praying that its worth the effort. Especially when trying to find the time to jelq properly.

Is this just me or do others relate to that?! Am I being dopey?

I was the same way when I first started pumping. I went a year without measuring. When I finally did, I learned that I’d gained an inch in length.

Master the proper technique and give it time. Consistency, heat and time (maybe months) often produce worthwhile results. Stay the course.

I thought it best that I do measure otherwise how would I know what works!

I’ve been stringent on the newbie routine and measured last night. So since the 8 of Feb sadly I have made no gains.

I notice the short term stretch after manual stretching but that last minutes..

Fingers crossed I’ll keep at it. So far all I have to show is a bronzed foreskin!

For me it took a bit after three months for newbie gains. A lot of it was figuring out how to do the routine properly.

I will finish my Newbie routine next Months but I don’t want to take measure because I’m scare.
But I think we need to measure to adjust routine, and know what is working !

In my opinion, measure is not the best solution, you need to feel your penis :) !

Hey guys I have started it around for one month, was feeling some progress but then I did not keep the PE routine well for a couple of weeks or more and I felt very bad because The progress I was feeling was gone.. Now I read at this forum since a couple of weeks after that so I will stick to newbie routine for two months, three months and then see the results.. But I am keeping a year in mind to gain 1inch in girth & 1 & a half inch in length.. Wish you all mates good luck!

I started the newbie routine on or around 12-12-2014 & I didn’t measure because I was skeptical & didn’t really think it would work & that I would stick with it. Sometime the 1st week of March I decided to measure because to me I could feel the difference but I have stuck with it consistently & have increased my time of warm up - stretching - jelqing. I average anywhere from 70 to 90 minutes on my workout. For several weeks now I warm up rotating 2 wash cloths for 10-12 minutes then stretch 7 different directions for 3 sets of 1 minute per stretch. I also do a few helicopter twirls in between the stretches. After stretches I do 600-700 jelqs. Where my time varies the most is how long I edge along with some ulis. I can’t say I’ve gained because I would not measure at the beginning & now I regret it. When I did get the courage to measure I was 6.5 with a hard pressed (BPEL) & 5.5 EG. I felt like I was cheating with the bone press cause I loose an inch or more not bone press. I’m gonna try to hold off measuring again until around the 6 month mark, as of now I’m at 3 1/2 months & look forward to PE every day with just an occasional day off here & there when something comes up. I’ve learned a lot here at Thunders, just wished I’d found this site a long time ago. By the way I’m 59.

Likewise I restarted back in feb and was due to measure yesterday but skipped it. I can see physical gains and the wife told its thicker so o know there are gains. But I’m stil scared as I have busted my nut since feb.

Going to wait out til end of apr now and measure

May 16th 2015: BPEL: 8.0 -- EG: 5.25 (present)

Ice, jsut keep going with what you did if you feel like you gained and have good signs.
Sometimes it doesnt translate immediately into numbers. It adds up over time..

Sounds all very good. Consistency is the key while watching the feedback you get from your dick how it feels and only then how it measures.

BPEL is the official measurement and besides BPFSL the best to measure.
There is no cheating. Cheating would be measuring from your ahole ;)

Apart from an eight day break and missing the odd day, I’ve been quite consistent since starting in Feb.

I have to admit, after reading a few of the senior members posts I lessened the amount of wet jelqs from 500 to 300. Thinking quality over quantity. Although I’ve kept my manual stretching at 10 minutes..

Still not even an mm of gains.. But I’ll stick with it..

What are your PI ‘s ?

I had a lot of blood spots and my unit was going purple.. Also, the reduced rate of jelqs feels a lot better.

I did have some weird tingling a few hours after finishing PE just on the underside of my gland. That has gone now too doing less jelqs.

Stretching feels good. It just feels more productive. Maybe its because of the very temp gain you get after anyway. Jelqing doesn’t feel like its doing anything. I’ve checked and double checked lots of techniques and I’m sure I’m am doing it correctly.
