Time, it takes Time.

Hello. I am a long-time lurker. I have learned and used much from this site. My journey, like many here, began out of curiosity. At first I used one of those online e-books, but eventually found Thunders. It has been a long journey and frankly.

I have come to the conclusion that I suffer from body dysmorphia. I say this as I sit here holding a 7-inch piece of belt, it looks small. My wife has always said my dick was big, even before PE. She does not give oral, which hurts her jaw. Anal is out. Her hand can grip, but not completely. There is good pu**y grip and it looks hot. I have an obvious bulge. She won’t do certain positions like she used to, says it hurts. So why keep doing this?

The longer I have done PE, the worse my impression of myself has become. I had no worries or cares before trying it. As of right now, I sit at 8.1 inch BPEL by 5.7 EG. After a PE session, I can get 8.5 BPEL by 6.2 EG. If I go more than two months without maintenance, I lose about 3/4 an inch in length and about .3 in girth. It makes me feel insecure.

I am putting this here for all of the folks who come into The game and ask why do I have to do this and this and this. It is long. That is the point. The journal I have kept is even longer, with all the routines, times, measurements, injuries, etc. Daily, including time off. Thanks, Rahul1010, you posted just as I was reconsidering this post.

Notes:

Injuries occur, but have been managed, such as:

Blisters: reduced time and friction

Spots: heat and cold compress

Tenderness: time off, heat, cold compress

The Doughnut effect: reverse jelq, heat, cold compress to reduce lymph fluid

Typical EQ issues: note routine, time off, make adjustments

Horses, Ulis, Squeezes, edging, clamping, pumping, stretches, and jelqs have become my go to. All done with heat and rest. The heat works to dilate blood vessels, make tissue more pliable, reduce injury. It has taken me all of these years to actually understand how my body reacts and if it is a good or bad reactions.

The pump is a good example. I do not get the doughnut, rarely get spots, and only once in a long while do I lose EQ. I know at what stage my member needs more pressure, how to Kegel in to get the head to swell or the shaft. I know that at a certain pressure, if I feel the need for a more intense session, that I don’t need more pressure, but a Kegel and how I become more sensitive, and with just a bit of tube milking, I can get even more erect. A note on pumping: I often exceed the recommended or standard range for longer periods of time than most in the forums. I do it once a week. I know my body and do this over a period of 30 minutes, with reductions in suction. IE: 5 minutes at 5mmg, increase to 10 for 5 more minutes. Slow release of pressure to 0 over 2 minutes. Increase to 10 over 2 minutes leave for 5, reduce to 5, increase to 12-15 for additional 5 minutes. This is all done with full erection and heat.

I know that once a week, for me, a good wet pump session works as therapeutic and stimulant.

Something I have found is that the mind muscle connection seems to work well for me. I focus on the actual action taking place. I visualize the blood being forced through the veins and capillaries, while seeing the tissue expanding. I have realized that if I cant do this, the sessions aren’t that good. Maybe it is a sign of mental and physical fatigue, so I will use the session as an active recovery. Lots of heat and massage, stretching.

At some point I purchased an extender. My notes tell me that it took me about a week to figure out how to use it, That I had to worst time keeping it on, in place, or comfortable. I spent about 4 months messing with it an eventually abandoned the project.I recently found it and tried again, immediately remembered why I ditched it and tossed it in the bin.

My experience with hanging was similar. In my notes I have lots of references to the hanging forum, trying to get the damn thing to fit, increasing the use of heat to make things more pliable, and after a few weeks realizing that the big was built like steel cable. I have some notes about connecting a 25lb plate to my dick and feeling stupid. A few weeks later I just stopped after seeing no real results other than decreased EQ and generally not enjoying any aspect of it. I followed the Hanging 101 routines, but I think I used the actual user name routines at the time. Starting very light until I had the rig and routine down.

As you might notice, I use the phrase “for me” in pretty much every paragraph. The baseline programs are fairly universal for initial gains and to learn the exercises techniques and more importantly how your body will respond. Those who stick it out into the veteran stats will have a varying set of routines all learned from practice and experimentation. In other words, after you get the hang of things and find yourself plateauing. This is where your own unique spin come in. And perhaps, advances in the PE programs for everyone.

Nice write-up. I thought about this just the other day. How much time could be saved if one started out with full knowledge of his body and member. Most of the time is spent in trial and error, learning how your body responds to each exercise and routine.

I have been sitting on this for a while. Rahul posted his while I was adding to mine and it inspired me to post. We ALL go through our own efforts. Some start from different places but we ALL seem to share the basic ideas. It is funny because I read things like ” If I had known then what I know now…” and i don’t think this is true. I posted this because I want those new to it, or say, 6 months to a year in, to se what kind of work it takes. We will ALL stray from the guides. We will ALL do our own thing thinking we know best in the beginning, and then, ouch. We have ALL been there and keep going through it. This is a niche community and so full of knowledge. Those of us who have achieved look back and think ” damn! really!” So for those coming up, be realistic. Big gains can happen, but over night gains… not so much. This is one the most personal undertakings out there because while our anatomy is the same, everything else may be different.

I appreciate the kind words, I really do. One of the greatest benefits of Thunders is that it is supportive. We can all learn and pass it on and even challende ideas. This is a cool place.

Thanks you all for the kind words. My return to PE is now at a halt. I was hit by a car had to have back surgery. As of right now, my lumbar has been fused. On the plus side, even though I am in a lot of pain, I can still get an erection. But the paid is just a bit to maintain one ahahah. Oh well. As soon as I can I will ad it to my PT days.

Crikey, that’s a bad day but thank goodness you survived being hit by a car. Good luck with your recovery, your dick will still be there when you’re ready to go again.


With great penis comes great responsibility

So, note:

A week after surgery on my spine I was able to shower. My penis was purple, near grey. I have not thought about PE at all, but this scared the hell out of me. After a few minutes of massage, the color returned. Each successive shower has resulted in the same thing. I haven’t attempted erection yet, let alone any kind of PE, since pain and the exhaustion of actually moving have prevented me from trying. I think I may tonight, erection not PE. No other part of my body has reacted this way. I am wondering if damage from past PE what is causing this? I am extremely diligent in my routines. Now that I have noticed this, I AM noticing discoloration, much like after a heavy PE session. Kind of thought provoking.

Oh my oh my, I wish you a swift recovery.

Well, I stirred things up and libido is fantastic, EQ is solid. Have not made any measurements, but I am willing to bet there is some loss. Back pain is gone, the feeling in my legs is good now and I am walking as much as I can. Clocked a mile and a half yesterday. I am in very good shape and strong, so I am expecting a quick recovery. Doctors said it would be three or four weeks before I could expect any real distance so I am ahead of the game. I am waiting for the actual incision site(s) and bone to heal before returning to PE. I have not used any painkillers since day 4 post-surgery. Now my problem is that my libido is back and I am told sex should wait for another six weeks (2 months total since the incident). I was told to expect diminished EQ for the first few months due to the operations and locations. SO: Excercise is good for the whole body! I am recovering from spinal surgery quickly due to do consistent strength and conditioning. My Cardiovascular system is strong allowing for good O2. And yeah, My wang has been worked out well near-daily for years, recovery is quick!

I attempted to take a pic of my unit in the shower to show the discoloration, and then after I massaged it back to life, so to speak. My iPhone camera now has a permanent fog. Anyway, I have my 1st post-op meeting this week. My wife and I had a 3-hour session of sex and I can say without a doubt, it still works. If the surgeon says the healing process is going well, I am going to start PE again. I am going to measure and take BPEL and EG pics, document the numbers, and treat them as a baseline. It took several minutes of oral and prepping my wife, despite her being very wet and turned on in order to enter her. Part of this I am sure is due to the amount of time between the last time we had sex. Pretty sure I am not over 8” BPEL. Girth seems about the same, around 5.5” mid-shaft, and thicker at the base.

The first session will be basic: Heat, Stretch, Jelq, Heat, pump, stretch. Under 20 minutes. We shall see.

My doctor says I can start walking normally now and do a few other things as well. The incision site, muscles, and tissue are healing great. The only thing is that I have to keep wearing this massive brace. I got hard and pulled out the ruler and tape. Trying to take a BPEL pic is tough. The brace pushes skin and some fat down so I have this exaggerated fat pad lol. The problem is that I feel like I am fighting both skin, some fat, and the pressure from the damn brace. I got three measurements and then my EQ just tanked. BPEL is about 7.6 and EG is: 5.4 at the head, 5.5 mid-shaft, 6.1 base, but not where the fat pad may mess up results. I will post a pic when I can take a decent one with the ruler and tape. The brace rests right on my pubic bone, so imagine what a pain that is. I should be out of this thing in two weeks. Any way, I was just curious.

My attempt to get back into PE came to an abrupt stop. It turns out that some of the post-surgical medication I was taking made me very sick. Then I ended up with an infection under the incision site. Now here I am six months later, feeling healthier and ready to start again. We have moved across the country, started a new career and if all goes well, I can start up on PE. I have tried taking “start” pics, but keeping an erection while trying to take a pic and hold a ruler is… a pain. Guess I will have to keep trying!
