No to me personally it is not a problem. I ask because that is not what I have gathered from reading this entire thread beginning to end.

I really hope you solve your problem, I know for me that would be devastating.

You may find you get more help from others without being the provocateur.

“Awareness and possible cures.”, is a good answer but adding “Is that a problem?”, is provocative and a good way to put people off.

I know I am always more likely to help those that show a little more noble attitude than Hubris, a gentleman steps back from thuggery and relies on civility regardless of his opponents attitude.

By the way, I did ask you if you are taking any supplements currently, are you?

Thank you Behemoth, I’ll take it on board. It’s just not that easy when I am in the frame of mind I am in and someone asks the same question over and over when the answer should be as clear as the nose on their face by now.

And please don’t put yourself out writing your supplement recommendations, as appreciated as they will be.

I am not taking any supplements at the moment other than protein powder.

Hey Willy,

Have you looked into PRP ( Platelet Rich Plasma) or stem cells. This is what professional athletes use to regenerate their tissues to avoid going under the knife. Do a Google search and you will find a vast amount of information. I don’t know if there are places that inject directly into the penis , but I bet if you sign off on it then you will be good to go. Stem cells are viewed as the best way to heal injured nerves. I have seen a few YouTube videos of people that are paralyzed that get stem cells injected into their spine and it cures their paralysis. You can search for that on YouTube as well.

God Bless

It’s not a case of putting myself out willy wonka, it’s a case of helping with injury, I’m prepared to put the time into making you better, because I know that you want to be better, now this may entail a different course of action to that which you are taking. Sometimes we need to change what we are doing to realize that what we are doing is generating the same mundane result that we feel comfortable with, or that we expect to happen.

I am very familiar with Chronic Pain, Chronic Inflammation, Saddle Anesthesia (part of your condition), and I’m constantly advising people on healthy supplements for chronic conditions. One of the first things I advise is you don’t let your disability define you, don’t become your disability. Secondly and very importantly, the more you tell your tale of woe the more you reinforce it in your mind, I have had great success with people once they understand that, yes it may be physical in nature but we don’t want to reinforce it in the mind, the mind is too powerful.

Now back to the road to health, I understand that you have a degree in nutrition, which is great, but if you could help me out by giving me what would be your typical meal plan for three days of the week, (we don’t tend to diverge that much and that will be enough for me). And Firegoat asked “Question, back on topic. It seems every possible usual test has been done. What physiological damage has been diagnosed by the consultants after:” He’s a good guy and want’s to help too and asking a question that is within his field and will help him to help you.

And by supplements, I mean vitamins as well as minerals, not just the glossy stuff. :)

Terrific, much appreciated post. The first I have read that gives me hope.

I’ll get back to you.

To all the people with the hard flaccid problem, there was a thread where Sparky and I gave a lot of input. See: Firm flaccid penis If I try to cast my mind back to that thread, I seem to remember thinking it was due in part to spasmed muscles in the pelvis constricting the blood-flow. There are many exercises and tutorials on you-tube that aim to stretch and de-spasm these muscles. In particular, the iliopsoas (pronounced illeo-soas) muscle is one to watch.

Muscles go into spasm as a sort of lock-down mechanism to provide damage limitation during an injury or strain. Even a fright or acute fear can cause it. After the danger has passed, the spasm usually subsides. however in some individuals, this does not happen. Some of the muscles in the pelvis are difficult to feel or get at, but there are exercises out there that work.

PS, I have no medical training, but have worked as an un-trained masseur on and of for the past 30 years. You have to keep on searching, and never give up :)

If you hold tension in an area for long enough, the nervous system begins to consider that level of tension as normal in that area, and doesn’t let go of it. It can take a few weeks of consistently, repeatedly lowering the tension in an area to retrain the nervous system to recognise what a normal tension level is again.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Sounds like you need to strengthen your blood flow, nervous system, and spirit in the process.

Deep squats I’ve read strengthen the legs and hip flexors. Omega 3, MSM, chondroitin are good anti inflammatory supplements, BTB jelqing, kegals, heat, heat, heat before ANY routine all have a strong potential to help.

Potential stress and anxiety may not help the problem as i’m sure your feeling it, but exercise such as activities, strength training, cardio, yogo, or martial arts are strong stress relievers that have strong possibilities to increase blood flow which could provide better nutrients or stimulation to the nervous system.

Spasms usually occur from weak muscles, so maybe strengthening them may invite better blood flow, faster nervous system responsiveness, and promote healing where it’s needed.

Potentially when the injury occurred it may have been from not warming up correctly with HEAT before you started your new routine, or there may have been too much stress applied some where in your unit that caused a symptom like this sort of like over training.

I only read a few pages of your posts, but based on what i’ve read from various forums, a lot of users have had success with daytime and nighttime jelqing BTB and regular even after over training.

Stretching may also help, and it seems maybe your tissues may have been super sensitive as everyone body is different. It’s cool everyone is working diligently to find the answers you are seeking what a great forum.

Good stuff firegoat.

I’m convinced folks, IMHO, spasm and/or compressed blood vessels are the keys to understanding this condition.

I’m the one the PMed Willy. I am dealing with the same thing he is and praying every day it heals.

Poor EQ. Loss of sensitivity. Hf comes and goes.

It’s mentally devastating and I’m not remotely exaggerating. I am 5 months in and would give up 20 years off my life to go back

I’m right with you guys… have had HF and Ed for 4 years from improper hanging… fml

Hi Sean,

Thanks for posting. I’m sure it must be a horrible thing to be experiencing. What caused your problems? Have you gone to a doctor at all?

mikey88,

Sorry to hear about your problems. I hope that in 4 years you’ve sought medical care. Did you tell them the cause? When you say you didn’t hang properly, what went wrong? Did you hang for longer than 20 minutes at a time or something else?
