Gentlemen,

I have a question for anyone who has been taking Lecithin for a prolonged period of time with a daily dose above 3,600mg in their stack. Have any of you monitored your blood work annually or biannually and if so, noticed any differences from your pre-stack blood work? Or any side effects in general?

I’m curious as I’ve just started taking Sunflower Lecithin and after seeing the bottle’s recommended dosage of 1,200mg I admit I’m a little shocked to see people taking 4 or more times that. Not that there is anything wrong with it and everyone’s body is different, but Lecithin is still a fat even if essential. My understanding is the body doesn’t like an extreme excess of anything and either finds a way to get rid of the excess.. Or doesn’t which can be worse. I don’t really see any reputable information about a maximum dosage though I do see some information that tends to imply based on your gut flora Lecithin can lead to an increase in atherosclerotic plaque formation.

Just thought I’d ask.

P.S. To be clear, I’m not asking for anyone to recommend a dosage to me or anyone. I’m just trying to determine the possible down sides of taking too much Lecithin and reading pages of this thread, I’m hoping some men are monitoring their blood work and can shed some insight.

Hi. I’m new to the forum. I just picked up some Pygeum and Lecithin from Amazon. The Lecithin I got is labelled Sunflower Lecithin. Is that the wrong type?

When would be the best times to take them? Before bed, or first thing? On an empty stomach or after food?

Not really look to add more supplements though. I will see how much I shoot just with losing weight, my current vitamin set (one a day for men, omega 3 x2, D3, collagen, biotin) my protein shakes, my high meat and vegetable/low carb diet, and my strength training (squats, deadlift, bench, kettle bells) plus cardio routine (swimming, running, jump rope). I also drink a shit ton of water and tea everyday.

I’ve had all of the above in motion for quite sometime and my loads are already pretty big (despite being 33 years old).

I checked my cholesterol level while taking lecithin and it was lower than six months after I stopped taking lecithin.

I was taking 1 tablespoon (15 grams) of liquid sunflower lecithin per day.

If you have a Sprouts nutrient store anywhere near you they have liethin and pygeum

And why is arginine together with citrulline, isn’t just citrulline enough?
