A simple question about Viagra. But first let me say that I’ve been experimenting with generic Cialis/Tadalista for a while to help with BPH. I take 5mg/day (cutting 20mg tablets in quarters) I’m well aware of how this gives me a nice faccid hang, which is good for PE exercises and post-resting periods.

But I just started experimenting with generic Viagra/Sildenafil. I tried 25, 50, & 100mg doses. One thing I noticed is that it didn’t give me this automatic raging boner that people joke about with Viagra. Instead I noticed that I needed to be in the presence of an attractive female to get erect. Otherwise, I had the same decent flaccid hang as the low dose Cialis.

Is this normal? So far I’ve found a few articles online which seem to confirm this (or in other words, dispel the belief that Viagra causes raging boners automatically) I just want to hear what you guys have to say about this, or share your experiences.

Viagra, like Cialis, requires stimulation (mental or physical) to function. It does not produce spontaneous erections, except in cartoon strips and comedy shows. :)

I’m in my mid sixties and will take 50 mg of generic Viagra as insurance prior to getting with the ladies. After taking Viagra I might have the occasional sporadic erection lasting a couple minutes, but it generally takes direct stimulation or getting up close an personal with my girlfriend.

Yep, I take 5mg/d Tadilafil (Cialis) and it is a “just in time” product as the others have reported.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Well I guess I’m finally in my late 50’s. Ditto on the other comments. I take cialis(Tadalafil) every other day to ensure that I’m responsive. Still requires the ‘right’ frame of mind to work.

BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"
