I've cured my premature ejaculation

Wow, that was post # 1000 for me.
I’m a posting slug I guess, 1000 posts in 4 years.

Must be the Paxil… ;)

Depends, obesity can be a result of eating as solace (comforting oneself) - which is one (immature) way to deal with emotional stress. Kick the depression, loose the need to comfort yourself. That might be an explanation for some.

Or the serotonin regulation might affect “normal” appetites one way and “warped” appetites another way.

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

In my case, I dont think my appetite has changed at all, for any reason.

I eat pretty clean, and I exercise almost everyday. Been the same for years.

I’m a bit gutted to see that the Paxil will have to be a permanent part of my life at least until they come up with a better cure.

The downsides of taking Paxil for me have been.
1. Getting tired more easily, not doing so well in sports and lifting weights, generally just slightly physically weaker and slightly less endurance in sporting activities.
2. Not being as mentally sharp. I play chess a lot (daily) and while taking Paxil (6 months) my rating dropped from 1400 to about 1250. As soon as I started weaning off, I noticed an improvement in my concentration levels and my rating is already back up to 1400.

Although I must say that I have started taking large doses of fish oils as per Zane blues fish oil diet, during the weaning process. So I wonder if the increased concentration levels and chess ability is due to the fish oils, rather than the weaning off Paxil. hmmmmmm don’t know….

I guess I’ll find out as soon as I start the Paxil again. To be honest for me I’d rather be not quite mentally and physically as sharp, in exchange for the two hour long hot sex sessions.

Sex is number 1 for me, Sport and chess are a close 2nd, but they are 2nd.

Hey KG, I want to say the same thing for me, but I’m not sure that’s whats going on. I still feel like I can go for a while but the last time me and the wifey were doing it, she came on her period and I guess it turned me off and I wasn’t able to focus any longer. I just wanted to come. But I kind of want to go back to the 50mg doses, I’m not sure if this will cause a long term problem for me(being on the 50mg) but I sure like it more when I was there. BUT please don’t read to much into that. I am solely basing this on the last fuck session and it will be a while, maybe, before I get to find out if prem ejac is returning since the wife isn’t feeling so well. But I can say this I think that it’s in the mind because Zoloft helped me be more conscience of what was going on.

If you stretch it, it will grow. If you clamp it, she will know.

I find it interesting to read all these accounts about SSRIs, their side effects and their sexual side effects. I have been on for Celexa and Cipralex for a while and I did not like any of their effects at all. I gained weight due to a constant craving for food esp carbohydrates, and both my libido and ability to orgasm dropped. I gained at least 20 lbs despite working out almost every single day. In the end, everything reverted back to normal once I was off the meds. Now my appetite is back to normal; I feel much stronger and energetic; and my sex life improves tremendously, despite ejaculating much faster.

King_G,

I’ve read that SSRI (paxil) vacations should be taken. Perhaps an off cycle for you, then back on the Paxil boat for extended power sex!

To me, after all my life experience, I have come to the conclusion that we are all just a bunch of biochemical puppets! (Less our metaphysical support system) That’s not all bad. We just need to do most of the research ourselves to find out:
A) What is dysfunctional with ourselves (get over denial for the sake of evolution)
B) What can we do about it: 1) naturally 2) drug wise
C) Experiment with a well thought out plan/recipe
D) Apply modifications where needed

In the interim, perhaps you could incorporate some of the following into your life.

Energy Levels:
1) ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is the essence of energy originating from the cell. I have used a product called ADENERGY that works very well in boosting my energy levels.

2) I have read and experienced “Calorie restriction” benefits with regards to overall energy levels and quality of life. Not starving, more like feeding your unit every 3 hours with mini meal quality foods, including superior proteins.

3) External stimuli: Whatever cranks you up = do it! (For me, some fist pounding Metal music feeds my soul/spirit and jacks me up for any life event)

4) Other supplements known for their energy producing effects are: Ashwaganda and Siberian Ginseng.

Testosterone Levels:
7-Keto DHEA – Boosts testosterone levels

Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestrus – Boosts testosterone levels

DIM (diindolylmethane) – restricts free testosterone from converting to estrogen

I3C (indole-3-carbinol) - restricts free testosterone from converting to estrogen

Mental Clarity:
I have been using DMAE (dimethylaminoethynol) for years now and it is the best supplement for mental clarity. IT RULES! It is a naturally occurring nutrient that you can get without a prescription. Gingko Biloba and Gotu Kola also help with mental cognitive functions. (Gotu Kola is recommended for a 6 week maximum, then break)

Remember this: Knowledge combined with proper Experimentation equals power to transform!

Just my opinions.

Cheers

My experience with fish oil is increased sharpness, mentally, by the way.

MGUS, you’re right, I was happier generally. Although happiness is relative and once you’ve been happy for a few weeks, you don’t notice it so much. After a few months, I stopped having the feeling that I was ‘happy’. I just felt normal, guess I got used to it.

Weaning off, things have been a little more rocky in our relationship. But there’s too many factors involved to pin-point weaning off Paxil as the reason. But I suppose it’s probably not helping.

Some other mental effects I’ve noticed are feeling a little dizzy occasionally. Feeling a little hyper at times. ie lying awake thinking at night for half an hour, when I usually go to sleep within a couple of minutes.

More drive to do things. While on Paxil I got quite lazy with housework. Stopped helping out so much around the house. But now I am feeling a bit more get up and go with those mundane tasks.

Yeah, I hear you. I think I will have an ‘off cycle’ as you say. Then get back on it.

I think I have sorted the mental clarity issue, as I still haven’t fully weaned off, and my mental clarity has been excellent ever since starting the high potency omega 3’s. So I don’t think that will be so much of an issue next time round.

I don’t think low testosterone is a problem, as I don’t even know if I have low testosterone. I think it’s always been quite high actually. Low energy, low sporting strength and lower libido would point at lower testosterone. But I don’t know if Paxil can actually lower your testosterone. I’ll have to look into it.

Thanks for the info on energy levels, I may well use those supplements next time round.

When I came off Celexa, I also had these episoles of dizziness. They usually came and went within a few seconds, but very disturbing nevertheless.

I’m very interested in things that will improve my mental clarity. It is really starting to interfere with my daily life. I’ve tried the Ginko Biloba but it really didn’t help any. This is a 4 year old problem that just keeps getting worse and worse.

Well iv been on paxil now for 2 weeks, and it is working. Last night had sex with wife and it was real good. Was able to control myself in every position. Must of been the most relaxing and enjoyable head I have had ever. Wonderfull not cumming in a few min after oral. I do see what everyone was talking about when you have to really think of stuff to cum. Still doing the 10mg every day around 1pm before lunch. So far no side effects what so ever. Still have high sex drive as always. So far no weight gain. I have notice I have gotten a few headachs from time to time. But a bit of asprin and it’s gone.

Try 125-200mg of Diphenhydramine about an 1:15 before sex/masturbation. It’s an anticholergenic commonly found in sleeping remedies (this level of dose is extremely safe to take, even though you may be taking up to 8 pills). Duration/feel will be increased substantially. Also, you will have a mind blowing orgasm. I can explain the dynamics of it if you’d like, but it’s totally worth a try. Keep a glass of water nearby though, it causes a bit of dry mouth.

Formula,

Read this: Omega-3 fatty acids and major depression: A primer for the mental health professional | Lipids in Health and Disease | Full Text. Omega3:s simply seem to be the stuff brains are made of. My mental clarity is better today than before I took Omega3.

Welcome to the forums hoewutniga-

Are you saying Diphenhydramine will have a positive effect on premature ejac?
