Everyone is different, some gain girth easily and rapidly as a newbie, some gain length easily and some, unfortunately are “hard gainers” and have to work very consistently to make any early gains. Time will tell.
Once you have mastered the newbie routine, then you can focus on girth with more advanced exercises. The key is slow, consistent exercise over time.
