However I do want to say life is too short to avoid sex just cause you are carrying a few extra pounds.
To be honest (within reason) I think women are more concerned/hung up about how their bodies look naked that how yours looks naked.

To be honest 300 sit ups is overkill. My advice would be to do fewer reps but SLOW DOWN and then hold the contraction a full 2 seconds each rep.
Pick one exercise each for upper abs, lower abs, and obliques. Do three sets of each exercise, 12 to 15 reps max per set. Try it for a couple months you will see a big difference.

I also suggest substituting High Intensity Interval Training for your 3 mile run. It takes only 20 mins. Burns fat and spares muscle. And your body continues to burn fat for a good long while afterwards. Do not do it more than 3 times a week.
