Decon Question

So I’ve been following a month on and a month off approach. I do 1 day on followed by 3 off. My question is when I go to do an extended decon say 3-6 months how do I prevent loss of gains?

I read a lot of people lose some gains on decon but make them back on their next cycle but is there anyway to prevent loss of gains? Could you maybe to light manual stretches once a week to possibly prevent loss of gains while on decon?

Have you made any gains?

Going by my girlfriends response I would say yes. She’s say every time we have sex it feels like my dick gets bigger. It appears to be longer and thicker but I’ve intentionally stayed away from measuring because I didn’t want to get depressed when see no gains. I planned on making a legit measurement once I’ve completed 3 full cycles. I have two more to go.

So, it is safe to say that you would not really know if you had lost any “gains”. That is, until gains are measured.

The purpose of decon breaks is to decondition from exhaustive exercises. With the schedule you are following, I doubt you even need a deconditioning break.

By completing one “cycle” do you mean one month at the 1 on 3 off schedule? If so, you definitely do not need a deconditioning break after 8 workouts. Unless ofcourse you went overboard with the intensity for those workouts.

Yeah you would definitely not need to decon at that intensity level. I would not be surpised if your gains were just from the boost in EQ from the light PE exercise schedule.

But in general, you could probably do piss pulls and some very light jelqs on the decon if you are worried about it.

I would encourage you to begin a measurement routine. It doesn’t need to be weekly or even monthly but you need a baseline and a means to determine what is working and what is not. Relying on a visual means is not enough as we all have learned that the small incremental gains are lost to visual memories. Good luck with your program.

I’m doing the same thing. I restarted PE after a long break a little over 6 months ago. The closest I’ve come to measuring is comparing myself to an object that is 6.75 inches. I’m not even doing that anymore. I keep thinking I’ve gained more than I have, and I just get depressed. I’ll measure for real after one year. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Get your first measurements. Set them as “base measurements” and go on from that. Decons not recommended until you gain no more from that particular exercise, and even then, I would suggest just change the type of excercises focusing on a different area (EQ, length, girth, sensitivity, vascularization, etc) which the actual excercising does not focus on.

Yea I think constantly measuring sets you up for heartache in my opinion because we all expect to grow super fast and when it does t happen we get depressed and some quit. I’ve only completed once month of workouts so I’ll take a measurement and then won’t measure until my other two cycles are down and I’m into a month of decon. I was reading another post be someone and they said their bpel gains always were best in the middle of decon. So I’m going to try and wait till then before measuring.

To be fair, BPEL might measure better when all the inflammation from excercises etc fades away. That is true. But then, it measures better if (and only if) you have actually grown. EQ getting better will give you those “newbie gains”, but that doesn’t mean those are permanent. As soon as EQ goes down a bit, so does the measurement. In my case it’s mostly because the head grows larger with better EQ so I gain 0,5 to 1cm just for EQ getting better. Those gains might happen in less than a week, but those are not exactly length gains. I mean, those are always there but just non visible with a lower EQ. The slower gains is what counts as real gains and the ones that do not fade away that easy.

Then the shape of your dick will have an impact on the measuring. For example, I have a slightly curved penis, a bit to the side, and upwards. When I’m at full max erection the upwards curve takes some of the length, and when I’m at, let’s say, 99% erect, I have it a few millimeters longer. Always considering the head is very engorged.

I’ve done one month decons twice. Both times it felt like lost, but I didn’t really.

Also, each time, I went back to my conditioned state after 2 days back on PE. I’m not a huge believer in them, TBH.

Are you saying you’re not a huge believer in decon’s? If so, why is that exactly?
