Don’t Measure It!

Thought I’d share a little technique of mine. This really helps maintain my motivation and confidence levels.

As I do PE more and more, I notice I start to measure less. And it’s immensely helpful towards my patience and motivation/willpower. Sometimes believing in something creates the reality. Fake it till you make it. These are ideas that explain when we feel like we are getting bigger, wether it’s how it feels in your hand, or visually you think it looks bigger, and in reality it may or may not be any bigger. But the fact that you believe it’s bigger, can create the reality. It will keep you pushing, keep you focused on your goal, as well as the benefits of positive affirmation to yourself.

Now you SHOULD measure yourself, don’t get me wrong. But maybe I’m saying do it more strategically. And everyone is different, some won’t be affected by measuring it everyday, some will. Some will find it useful to measure often, some will find its detrimental.

But I do know one thing, as a beginner, most have a hard time not measuring often. They want to see results. This post is for the beginners, or the ones that may be obsessive over it and notice measuring isn’t helping with their motivation, especially if they don’t see results.

Just a thought I wanted to share. My best gains come when I’m just enjoying what I’m doing and not in any rush to measure.
Again I must add, measuring is crucial especially at certain points, perhaps after trying a new routine out, or if it’s been a few months or more. But overall, I have found a great strategy towards my success from measuring much less then when I first started.

Thanks for the tip! Not picking up that ruler is (pun intended) quite hard! I suppose forgetting about measuring helps you relax into a routine and as we all know, consistency is king!

I totally agree from the psychological angle. But in another thread somewhere, some member made the case for MORE measurements—purely from an accuracy angle. When crunching data, the more data you have, the more accurate your results will be.

That said, I’m more in your camp. A guy can get dejected by measuring too much.

Thank you for the advice, I’m new at PE. I think we have to find a middle point of view. Measure when needed to document progress at certain points, and then enjoy the road!

I agree about measuring rarely, because it really provides decent picture after some time. Like with AM method, I initially noticed that my penis grew in length greatly, as it reached belly button easily after several sessions(it never touched it before, now i wanna penis to pass it)). BUT after deadline actual measure and re-reading my own previous month report, I literally wowed, that I also got VERY decent in my terms of scale girth gain. Jelq didn’t provide me ones, while there was undeniable growth.

Also, I feel towards PE somehow similar with trading on financial markets, using family or personal capital. When you know what you do and how - it is better to check positions weekly, not daily. Otherwise, your mind could lead you to rash and less profitable decisions.


1st) Before knowing PE ----------------- 14.0 cm length (5.51 inch), 11 cm girth (4.33 inch)

2nd) PE-like exercises for 3 months -- 16.0 cm length (6.30 inch), 12 cm girth (4.72 inch)
