Girth.

Hey all,

I’m just starting out my PE’ing and I just want length for now (mainly because I THINK my girth if fine at this point. My questions are:

1. How do I measure girth? At my thickest point I’m 5.5”. And the rest I’m 5”. But I don’t know where to measure from

2. What is average girth?

3. If I do length only, and gain x amount of inches, will I lose any girth?

I think average girth is somewhere between 4 or 5 mid shaft, I ‘m not quite sure on that though. I would say your a little over average for girth.

You are doing OK on girth, try the search function for ideas on how to measure. Check out the following for average sizes. Quite a bit of reading in these two threads but well worth it.

And no, it’s not like stretching Sillyputty. You will not loose girth by making your unit longer.

From what I know most studies measured girth from thickest part.

I recommend measuring at three different areas,i.e. right below the glans, midshaft and at the base of your dick. This way when you compare future measurements, you’ll get a better idea of the amount of girth gains being made and where. We don’t all gain at the same rate or in the same areas, so this will give you the best snapshot of your PE successes.

I have very uniform girth so have nerer thought about it much. What peforeal wrote makes a lot of sense.

Also, take your penis and press it down on the coloured comics from the Sunday paper. If the comics transfer to your penis then it is Sillyputty.

Iamaru,

My girth increases have not been proportional along my shaft but have focused mostly from midshaft and down to the base. I attribute that to the effects of pumping and jelqing, where the greatest stresses and pull have been placed for me on the lower half of my dick. It’s a good thing that I monitored my gains along the three different shaft regions, giving me the motivation to go for more over the years.

My gains have been very uniform. I plan on getting back into active PE in the near future with the construction of a pump and will measure base, mid-shaft, and just shy of the glans now that you have pointed this out.

My dick is slightly thicker at the base, but for the most part, it is even all the way up the shaft. I can attribute this to my even girth exercises.
