How to Jelq Without Getting 100 Erection

Hi everybody,

I’m completely new to this. Today is my first day even hearing or reading about all this. I haven’t even started the newbie routine yet. I desire more of a length gain than a girth gain. I read the jelq FAQ and understand that to accomplish this you should have less of an erection while you jelq to emphasize length gain. My question is how am I supposed to not become more and more aroused while jelqing? I would think that the mere nature of the exercise being somewhat similar to masturbation would result in a harder erection with each stroke. My understanding is that while your jelqing that you’re supposed to maintain a fairly consistent rhythm, so will resting in order to allow an erection to subside somewhat negatively effect the jelqing? Thanks?

This seems to be a popular question among this bunch of New Members. Yes, everyone gets erections while jelqing. It is OK to stop your rhythm and rest for a minute while you wait for your erection to subside. Some men have to do this a lot during a routine while others do not. It will not hurt your routine. Good luck with your gains.

Many guys take breaks in their jelqing routines for the same reason. Things that help to lower your erection is starting your routine with stretches, getting enough distraction and masturbating before your routine.

I wear a cock ring and watch porn when I jelq to maintain 75% erection. Just concentrate on not getting hard, it’s a fun game I have with myself when I just lay there and try not to have a compulsive contraction of the muscle that brings blood into my penis.

You are both right, I use them to keep my erection levels down, because after I fuck them and ejaculate, my penis starts to lose blood, but if none of them are around to keep me company, then I use pics of them to edge.

I do stretches when my penis becomes too erect. Not PE stretches, but fitness stretches. I stand with my feet shoulder width apart, or wider and reach for the floor while not bending my knees. I hold the stretch for 20 to 30 seconds. If that doesn’t do it, I do squats with only my bodyweight. Your blood will start to flow to your muscles in your legs. My focus is cetainly not on sex during these excersises. I try to do them seriously. Maybe to mental distraction has something to do with the effectiveness of this suggestion.

Guys I have a counter problem, I hit 100% erection, and when I will jelq my erection begin to subside, then I have to masturbate to hit a good erection (50 to 75%), tips?

That’s easy, just put both Springer240 and Shagnasty avatars as your computer background, you will not have any problem to maintain good erection.

When I first started PE I used to have the same problem.. Later I could keep my erection level to about 60-80% and now it’s hard for me to even maintain the erection level needed for jelqing. I think I’ll have to start using porn :( .

Hi.

When I started PE for 5 weeks ago I too had big problem with getting to erected during exercises, I started with the standard advice -to wait until it subsides- well, alone that’s not enough.

1. Start with stretching (here is essential that you wait to the erection to subside, if that’s the case)
2. Then when you start jelqing do something else at the same time, or concentrate on something that interests you (TV-program, Internet what ever)
3. Do very slow jelqs 5-6 or 7 sec.
4. Do this while standing.
4. Try dry jelqs
5. If the erection builds up then slow down the jelqs even more, try also to jelq upward (it helps a bit)

This is something that is working for me;)

Finally I can do my jelq exercise more successfully.
