How to Measure Your Penis

When measuring girth how tight do we wrap the tailors measuring tape around the circumference of our penis if we want to get the most accurate scientific measurement possible so as to compare ourselves against the scientific studies?

Tight enough to make skin contact. Before writing or typing down the result, make sure every point of the ruler is making contact, even on the bottom.

Start 6.8” x 4.7” (4.9" BEG)

Latest 8.2” x 5.1” (5.3" BEG)

Thanks that answers question.

I think that the first picture with the ruler vertically is for Bpel, because with this method the ruler meets the pubic bone and doesent allow you to dig the ruler under your bone.

For Nbpel just place the ruler at the center of your base and measure without pressing into the bone, that is with the zero mark visible.

Thanks for the post will be sure to measure with care! :)

I am new here so I am just reading old threads for now, trying to get up to speed and I have to say this is a great thread.

Though I will provide my stats using these guidelines when I establish my profile, I believe displacement to be the gold standard for measurement for the following reasons:

1 The irregularities of the penis make this method an approximation at best. Seeing as how the goal is to be able to identify gains for the hundreds of hours it takes to achieve them, I want as accurate a method as possible.

2 I believe an increase in volume, be it in length, girth, or both to be my goal. Even a millimeter gain in girth is significant when considering the increased percentage that represents in increased volume.

3 Given that results can be a slow process, even a small increase in volume can be a huge mental boost when dealing with the inevitable periods where no apparent gains are being achieved.

4 For reasons that will require a thread of its own, the relationship between the flaccid and erect volume will dictate the best methods used to achieve safe gains.

Thanks to all in the thread.

I am new to the forum, but have been an active PE participant for a little over 4 months.

Measurements have rather confused me up until now. As I am interested in my own gains understanding how to consistently measure has seemed to me to be crucial.

Still not positive about flaccid measurements, but will give it a go.

Don’t have a tailors tape but will use a non stretch fabric. I do have a ruler that starts a zero which makes it easier to measure off of the bone.

Having a really difficult time measuring girth. As soon as I start messing with the tape, my erection deflates a bit. I’m betting I’m losing about a 1/4” messing with it. Should I get an erection than use a cock ring to measure or will that give a false reading? Any other tips or tricks?

Also, I am quite certain I am much smaller now at age 52 than I was in my 30’s when I was doing PE. I’m thinking I may have lost like 3/4” in length and similar girth. Is that due to age, poor health, low T (I just started TRT a few months ago) or is it likely I am overestimating my size back then?

Yeah, I’m still new to this detailment. My flaccid varies in lengths from *really small* (like when you just came out from swimming in the lake!) to moderately nice (is that what’s called a “chubby”? Hate that term!) To a mediocre spot in between. Which one do we pick?!

All of the above. Seriously, not trying to be cheeky, but flaccid is the most notoriously unstable measurement state.

In the spirit of measuring erect (you do it when it’s at its greatest), you can find a flaccid state when it’s at its greatest. For me, that would be within a minute or two of a long, hot bath. The room would have to be warm, as well.

Great! Thanks Don. Sounds easy enough.

Does anybody else have this problem?

When I place the ruler along the centre of my shaft and press toward the bone I actually hit the ligament. It’s just a couple of mm thick but it’s right on the centre of the shaft. To measure bone pressed I have to go slightly right of centre. It definitely hits the bone, doesn’t go underneath as I can get the same reading with my TV remote, but centre of shaft there’s a ligament in the way. Is this normal?

I think you can press the ruler right on top of that ligament. Or are you saying that the ligament is slippery enough that it forces the ruler either to the left or right side?
