How to Measure Your Penis

It’s uncomfortable to press directly on the ligament. Is it normal that I can pinch it with my fingertips? It’s quite pronounced.

When I place the ruler along the centre of my shaft and press toward the bone I actually hit the ligament. It’s just a couple of mm thick but it’s right on the centre of the shaft. To measure bone pressed I have to go slightly right of centre. It definitely hits the bone, doesn’t go underneath as I can get the same reading with my TV remote, but centre of shaft there’s a ligament in the way. Is this normal?

I’d say this is an OK way to measure as long as you do it the same way every time.

Newbie Question - Curved Cock

As the title states. I have an extreme penis curve worth around 0.5-1” that can’t be straightened with my hands when measuring. Do I just ignore it and measure as usual? And sorry if this isn’t the right thread to ask in, but is there anyway to straighten out this curve if I wanted to?

You could measure whilst flaccid.

I’ve been thinking about the old NBPEL vs BPEL argument. Obviously for tracking our PE progress, we should measure BPEL, but people question whether or not this is really usable. Personally I don’t think it is, unless you have a very low body fat percentage. I think the real usable length of most men (20% body fat for example) is halfway between BPEL and NBPEL. I’m 6.2 to 6.7 if I was asked how big my dick is I think the honest answer would be around 6.4 (just under six and a half inches would be a realistic answer)

Just a thought.

If you have low fat percentage as you said i believe its usable. The skin moves easy in this area if you touch it with your finger, the same happens during sex.

When women ask me i dont tell them my Bpel. I tell my Nbpel but from the side, because i believe that most men measure this way. Thats a little bigger than my Bpel from the top, lets say about 0.5 cm.

Did you mean to write NBPEL? I can’t see how any NBPEL measurement from the side could be bigger than that.

Oh yes you are right. I mean to write Nbpel.

Guys good luck

What is rarely mentioned is that flaccid length is actually measured NON-bone pressed for some reason.

Measuring right before edge point

Would it be legit to measure at the point right before ejaculation/edging when its at its highest point so to speak and call that my length? This measurement is like .2 inches more than just my erection at its natural fullest.

The short answer is yes.

Thanks-but that is not the majority or mainstream way of measuring.

Consistency is the key. If that’s how you measure, then great. Just make sure you measure the same way each time, so to compare apples with apples. It’s the only way to see if you are growing or not.

Starting Stats: BPEL 7.0¨ x MEG 5.3¨ (4th Nov 2015)

Current Stats: BPEL 7.83¨ x MEG 5.6¨ (14th June 2018)

The Dream: BPEL 8.1¨ x EG 6.1¨ (Not sure if the wife supports ¨the dream¨)

Agree. Measuring the same way every time is the key.

Hi-Q

I see then- I’m not sure which way I was doing mostly before but okay that sounds reasonable.
