Hi everyone!

First, thanks for the awesome site with so much information. I hope to find myself with something to contribute as I progress in my own PE endeavors.

While I’ve been registered for awhile, I’ve just within the past week started on the newbie routine, and have a couple of quick questions (to which I couldn’t seem to find an answer via the forum search):

1.) How often should one preform the Kegel exercise? I ask because, according to , doing the Kegel exercise ‘to excess’ can cause premature ejaculation. Is this true? What is considered excessive?

And

2.) How important is it that one perform the stretches, prior to jelq-ing? I ask because, thus far, I find myself becoming too erect to perform more than just a couple stretches. My concern is that not stretching may effect my gains, and/or make me more prone to injury.

If you find that kegels cause premature ejaculation, you can always do the reverse kegels.

Hi turketron, welcome to the posting side.

Kegels can be done at any time. They are not required as part of the Newbie Routine, but are and “extra” that helps with overall penis health. You can do them while driving to work, just before you go to sleep, during breakfast, or whenever you want. If you do want to do them with the routine, you can do them before or after, it won’t make any difference.

Guys just beginning their routines often find that just touching themselves makes them hard. That’s normal and expected. As you progress in your PE efforts you’ll get used to it and unwanted erections will be less of a problem. You should stretch flaccid and jelq semi-erect. I’d suggest jelqing first then let it rest and do the stretches after. That way it will be less likely to want to get hard again.

herballove.com is a Dr. Lin site (where he uses a “spokesmodel” to do his talking). Dr. Lin’s advice is, for the most part, bullshit. Kegels do not contribute to premature ejaculation which is basically a psychological problem, not a physical one. Although being extra sensitive can contribute. Kegels do not change your sensitivity nor make you want to cum quicker. (There will be others here who feel it does and I’m sure you’ll hear from them. However, there is not physiological reason for kegels to have anything to do with premature ejaculation.)

Okish6ere - a “reverse kegel” is simple relaxing the muscles that are contracted when doing a kegel. It won’t “cure” anything and actually has little value except when one is trying to attain multiple orgasms. Search our forums for “male multiple orgasm”to find threads on the subject which will explain how that works.

Yeah, reverse kegels don’t seem to work for me. As I try to simultaneously shit and piss myself to stop ejaculation, my PC starts going faster than a rabbit having sex.

As far as kegels causing premature ejaculation, it’s really hard for me to return to “normal” once I get close to ejaculation. Before kegels, I was able to get close to ejaculation and return back to normal. Now, when I get close my PC starts flexing like it’s in a muscle-man contest, and it’s all over before I know it.

I really don’t know what to do at this point, if you have any ideas (westla) everybody, please chime in and let me know what I should do. As of know, I am not kegeling, and I cannot get an erection past 75%. No amount of porn will get me past that point because I have been jelqing with porn. I am going to stop watching porn for jelqing, maybe over time it will reverse some erection problems.
