I started the newbie routine last year for a short time and was experiencing some positive PI’s. I wanted to start slower this time with a lighter routine because some people say they gained more this way. I’m doing about 5 - 8mins jelqing and one stretch in every direction. I haven’t experienced any positive PI’s from this. I’ve done this routine for about 2 weeks. Should I continue for another while or since I’m not getting positive PI’s should I go back to the regular newbie routine?

So you took a break and now you want to do a new routine even though the first routine you did give you PI’s? You should stay with the newbie routine for a couple of months, then, after you have been dedicated to the newbie routine for a few months, look at a new routine. You could do a search for the newbie routine. There is a thread talking about what the newbie routine should be.

No positive PI’s.
My current routine:
warm up 5+ minutes
30 sec stretch each direction(up, down, left, right, straight out)
jelq for 5 - 8 mins
warm down 5+ minutes
50 5sec kegels

I had to take a break for about 8 months. I’ve tried PEing at 3 points in my life. The first time (before I really studied on it) I was getting positive PI’s and felt like I was gaining. The second time I started with the newbie routine and didn’t really have many positive PI’s. And now none. The thing is I don’t remember what I was doing the first time when I was getting positive PI’s. Will they come eventually or should you be getting positive PI’s right away?

Maybe you shouldn’t stretch at all for a while. And back way off on your jelqs.

A less is more approach worked better for me than this heavier stuff.

The traditional newbie is quite heavy for some, me included. Only now a month in can I jelq for more than ten minutes without getting negative PI’s. Stretching I find ok though.

One thing I will say is that I get boners through the night now like never before.


Currently 6.5 NBP 5.5EG.
